Conveniently located just 100 m from Moraitika beach and 21 km from the centre of Corfu Town, this residence is a smart choice for both business and leisure travellers alike. Quietly set amidst exotic gardens, it is also only a 5-minute walk from the centre of Moraitika. The establishment comprises a total of 185 rooms and is known for its welcoming atmosphere and high-quality service. A bar is available for those who wish to enjoy a drink in a cosy ambience, and the on-site restaurant is a good option for guests who choose to dine in. Comfort is provided in all the tastefully decorated rooms which come with en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning as standard.
Enjoy a range of recreational amenities, including outdoor tennis courts, an outdoor pool and a hot tub. Additional amenities at this hotel include complimentary wireless Internet access, an arcade/games room and a television in a common area.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We had a Superior room with pool view in the new building which was lovely, very fresh and clean, comfy beds , fridge in the room, kettle and cups on request, we had our own coffee etc. Beautiful bathroom with fabulous shower and huge bath. Cleaned daily with fresh towels. Nice pool with large surrounding gardens to lie in , no problems with sunbeds at this time of year and beach towel hire for €3 each . Access 200 metres directly to the beach , some great tavernas on the boardwalk, especially Seabreeze, friendly,family run with immaculate facilities and toilets, food was excellent. Had to eat here and elsewhere as despite booking half board at Delfinia , the food in dining room buffet was abysmal! Dining room like a canteen, no atmosphere, buffet was fine if you are vegetarian and like salads but the main dishes were awful. Lamb fricassee, beef stroganoff or chicken skewers, all cold and pretty tasteless. Even the fries, lyionaise potatoes and veggies were cold, despite being in Bain Marie. No drinks included, even water which is ridiculous, and extremely expensive to buy there. €3.50 for a small bottle of water, (79 cents for large bottle in supermarket), €9 for a small carafe of house wine that was 2 small glasses. We went first night and decided to eat out after that. Such a shame that such a nice hotel in beautiful surroundings is let down so badly on the food side.
Positives: Lovely view of the sea and gardens from our room. Shady gardens to hide from the hot sun in the daytime. Easy access to the sea with a gently shelving Blue Flag beach. Pebbly to get in but sandy once in. Safe swimming and large swimming area cordoned off by buoys. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The maid service was excellent with sheets and towels regularly changed. Quiet and peaceful vibe. Easy access to the local village. Negatives: No bottled water provided at all in the room in 35 degree heat although we were informed on check-in that the tap water was not drinkable. Bottled water was available in the bar but very expensive. This is very poor service. The same at dinner. All drinks in the restaurant had to be bought including bottled water. At the very least, water should be provided and included in the price paid. Poor quality food being served for dinner. We went the first night and didn't go again. It is not really a restaurant - more like a basic cafeteria. Inefficient shower screen in bathroom so the floor was constantly flooded by water spray. We were charged 20 euros/week to hire the room safe although we had to sign a form at check-in to agree the hotel was not responsible for any missing items from our room. We booked a superior room but failed to see what was superior about it. The usual lack of sunbeds if you weren't up early enough to nab one which is not relaxing on holiday. The drinks in the bar were very expensive. Much better to go to bars and restaurants close to the hotel and support the local economy.
Overall, a very good experience, but mainly because of the location and the beach. The beach is very calm, and the seabed is sandy. You can walk 100 meters into the sea and still stand on the sandy bottom. Amazing!
The hotel itself is average. The food is typical buffet-style food where everyone can find something to eat, but nothing special. Drinks with dinner are very expensive, and so is the hotel taverna for lunch. I would recommend going to one of the local tavernas on the main street instead. The food is better and the prices are much more reasonable.
The rooms have everything you need, but unfortunately, I had ants in my room. They crawled on me every night and even woke me up by biting me. 🫣
The hotel was good enough for me, especially because of the location and the beach, but if you are more demanding, I would not recommend it.
We have recently stayed here for a week in August. It was our first holiday away with our 1 year old little boy and it looked like the perfect fit for us as a family. First impressions, it’s a beautiful accommodation with easy access to the pool and the beach. Lots of shaded area for our baby but also plenty of sun spots for us too. They have an outdoor kids park which was perfect and lots of open space to explore. They do advertise having an indoor playroom 10am-6pm however, this is not the case. They have a kids club 4 days a week for only 2 hours. We did not access this so can’t comment but we were disappointed in the fact they do not have a kids indoor area for us to access, as this was something that attracted us to the hotel. They also have a boardwalk which leads you to other bars and restaurants by the beach and easily accessible even with a pushchair. WiFi was also very good throughout the whole complex.
Overall, we had a lovely stay, staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and lots to choose from and the place itself was kept clean to a high standard. This is an accommodation suited for couples, families, friends and elderly. It is a mixed group but very suited for all parties, even though there were a lot of guests, due to there being a lot of areas it was never over crowded. We would definitely recommend.
