This was our 5th time staying at the Olivar Suites and we have enjoyed every single visit. We look forward to returning as soon as we leave. We have previously mentioned a lot of the staff, but this time we need to recognise the front desk team and the reception team led by Angela…sorted out a minor issue we had and left us feeling delighted by their commitment and service…we can’t tell you how much they went out of their way to solve the issue (together with the GM), it was truly “above and beyond” 😎🙏🙏 Again, we want to say thank you to all of the hospitality staff, most of whom we have already mentioned before as they were, again fabulous! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An outstanding stay – The Olivar Suites is something very special
We were really looking forward to staying at The Olivar Suites, and after reading so many fantastic reviews before we arrived, we were excited to finally experience it for ourselves — and we’re very pleased to say it absolutely didn’t disappoint!
From the moment we arrived, everything felt effortless. Check-in was smooth and relaxed, with a complimentary welcome drink before our concierge took us to our suite. On the way, they talked us through the history of the hotel, which was such a lovely personal touch and a brilliant introduction to where we’d be spending our holiday.
The hotel is set within a beautiful old olive grove, and they’ve done an incredible job of incorporating its history and natural surroundings into the resort. Mature olive trees and greenery are everywhere, giving the whole place such a peaceful, relaxed feel.
We stayed in a Premier Suite with Garden View and Private Pool room 229, and it was absolutely gorgeous. Spacious, beautifully designed and incredibly peaceful, with our own private pool surrounded by greenery. It genuinely felt like our own little retreat.
We stayed on a Bed & Breakfast basis and breakfast each morning was fantastic, with a great selection and the same excellent service we experienced throughout the hotel.
The beach area deserves a special mention. There are just two rows of fantastic, incredibly comfortable sun loungers, so you never feel packed in. Fresh towels are provided daily and, as soon as you settle down, you’re brought complimentary bottled water. Each lounger even has its own personal call button for drinks — a very nice touch and something we quickly got used to! 😂
It’s those little details that really set The Olivar Suites apart. Coming back to our room each evening to find the nightly turndown service was another lovely touch that made the stay feel that little bit more special.
The location was perfect for us too. There are plenty of tavernas and bars surrounding the hotel, so staying Bed & Breakfast gave us the opportunity to head out in the evenings and try different places locally.
And a visit to Delicious Bakery is an absolute must! We ended up going back again and again for their pastries and desserts, as well as their fresh sandwiches and wraps at lunchtime. Definitely one of our favourite little finds of the holiday.
The hotel is also a brilliant base for exploring more of Corfu. There are bus services running both north and south of the island and, at just €2.70 each way, it’s an incredibly easy and affordable way to get around. We used the buses to visit both Corfu Town and Kavos and found them a great way of seeing a little more of the island without needing to hire a car.
But what really makes The Olivar Suites is the staff. Everyone we encountered was warm, friendly and genuinely welcoming. The service is polished without ever feeling overly formal, and nothing ever seemed too much trouble.
We’ve been lucky enough to stay in some beautiful hotels around the world, but The Olivar Suites is definitely up there with the best.
Beautiful surroundings, an incredible suite, fantastic service, a great location and so many thoughtful little touches that make a real difference.

We visited The Olivar Suites across the shoulders of September and October 2026 and we enjoyed every minute - nearly every one , but we'll come back to that 💑!
It's a beautiful place, designed with care and attention, planted with thoughtfulness and sustainability and peopled by amazing Corfiot friends - a massive colleague family of lovely, wonderful humans 🥰.

Christophonos and Stephanos for finding my wedding ring dropped on a beach and, when hope was nearly lost, they came to the rescue 🦸♂️🦸♂️! That was our single moment of worry in the week rescued and extinguished 🙏.
Our special little personal couple celebration was over-marked by the generosity of the Management Team - we will always remember that 30 year milestone because of this more than 'Hotel' but sanctuary - 'Philotimo!'
We don't normally return but we might make a special case for The Olivar Suites - 'Telia' in every way x We hope to visit again soon.
As soon as we arrived at the reception area of the hotel, we were warmly welcomed by two members of staff. Our luggage was quickly loaded onto a buggy, we were efficiently checked-in, and we were driven the very short distance to our accommodation for the week. We had booked two Premier Suites, one for my husband and I and the other for our two sons (age 18 and 21). The stunning suites are very spacious with everything you could possibly need. Our sons loved the fact that like us, they had their own terrace and private pool. The hotel grounds are absolutely beautiful and so well cared for – everything is green with lovely plants, shrubs and olive trees. It’s obvious that great care is taken to look after the public areas. We headed to the lovely beachfront bar for some lunch and the server noticed we were new guests and welcomed us warmly. The food was delicious and there is a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The views over the Ionian Sea are stunning and it would be easy to sit all day taking in the views. We headed onto the beach and were able to easily find four sunbeds together. The staff working on the beach are very attentive and as soon as we had put our towels down, we were given cartons of water and glasses with ice. There is a call button for bar service which is friendly and efficient and the cocktails are fantastic - especially the Pina Colada! The sandy beach is very clean and the water is crystal clear. We didn’t need our water shoes for the sea as there is only a narrow strip of pebbles/little stones to walk on before you’re walking on the sandy seabed. Not connected to the hotel, but at the end of the hotel’s beach area, is a water sports hire station. During out trip, our sons hired paddleboards and they also had a great time being pulled along on the inflatable sofa. We were on a bed and breakfast basis and enjoyed dinner out at the many local tavernas – there are some right on the beach and others on the side streets and road that runs through the village. Breakfast at the hotel was fantastic. On our first morning we were warmly welcomed by a member of staff who explained everything before we were seated which was appreciated. There are delicious options on the à la carte menu but also plenty of choice at the buffet area.
This is one of the best hotels we have stayed at. It’s hard to explain what a special place it is – it’s calm and luxurious and there is attention to detail in everything. The service from the staff team is efficient and friendly and always answered with ‘of course’ summing up their focus on the happiness of the hotel’s guests. I would highly recommend the Olivar Suites and we will definitely be back.
Beautiful hotel, fantastic service, we got the standard room with a huge balcony and no plunge pool as we prefer the beach. Room fantastic great facilities has a free safe, coffee machine,kettle with a good selection of glasses and coffee cups. Bathroom design is lovely but didn't like having a clear glass door to the shower due to lack of privacy. Great touches like the towels for the beach and pool are huge comfy and they bring you a carton of water and glasses when you get there. The sunbeds on the beach are the most comfortable I have ever used and the staff in all departments are absolutely fantastic.
