So many reviewers are returning guests and we count ourselves lucky to also be fellow returnees, having completed stay no 4 in June and already booked to return late in August. From the moment we arrive it’s instant relaxation: the gorgeous rooms, the caring staff, the thoughtful touches everywhere you look Enjoying a leisurely breakfast without the mad dash to secure a sun lounger The most taxing decision of the day -which of the local tavernas to choose for dinner (they are all a short stroll but we do have our favourites) There can be some jeopardy in revisiting a much loved holiday spot - what if it’s not as good we remembered - not an issue with The Olivar Suites, it gets better each time

There are some hotels you enjoy, and then there are places that make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. Oliver Suites is one of those rare places, and after another wonderful stay, we can confidently say it is our favourite place to stay in Corfu.

The location is simply perfect. Situated on the main street, everything is within easy walking distance, from fantastic restaurants and charming shops to one of the most beautiful and relaxing beaches on the island. Whether you are travelling as a couple, with family, or on your own, it is the ideal base for a peaceful and enjoyable holiday.

The suites and villas are beautifully designed, immaculately maintained, and incredibly comfortable. The beds are among the most comfortable we have ever slept in, and the private plunge pools and spacious terraces make it very easy to relax and switch off.

What truly makes Oliver Suites exceptional, however, is its people. Every member of the team is warm, welcoming, professional, and genuinely cares about your experience. It is easy to understand why so many guests return year after year. A special thank you goes to the General Manager, whose passion for hospitality is evident in everything they do. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and they consistently go above and beyond to ensure every guest feels looked after.

Breakfast each morning is outstanding, with a superb selection of fresh, high quality food that is prepared with care rather than mass produced. Throughout the day, the attention to detail continues. On the beach, chilled water, fresh fruit, and even cleaning cloths for your sunglasses are thoughtfully provided. These small touches make a lasting impression and demonstrate the hotel’s commitment to exceptional service.

The food and drinks are equally impressive. Whether enjoying cocktails, snacks by the beach, lunch, or dinner, everything is beautifully prepared and served. If you wish to explore local restaurants, the team are more than happy to recommend the best places based on your preferences and will even arrange reservations on your behalf.

For anyone looking for adventure, the hotel can also organise a wide range of activities through trusted local partners, including boat hire, kayaking, water skiing, parasailing, and many other watersports suitable for families, couples, and solo travellers.

Oliver Suites is one of those rare hotels where luxury never feels formal. Instead, it feels genuine, personal, and effortless. Every aspect of the experience reflects care, quality, and attention to detail.

We have stayed in many beautiful hotels over the years, but very few have left such a lasting impression. As returning guests, we already know that whenever we come back to Corfu, there is only one place we will stay.
