Sentido Apollo Palace

We stayed at the Sentido Apollo Palace in July 2026 four adults and two kids.

I have to say, the hotel is spotless, the food is incredible, and the à la carte restaurants are fantastic. The staff are attentive and friendly, and it's also one of the best "no reserving sunbeds" policies I've ever seen. The usual early birds still come out and try to claim all the beds, but the staff remove unattended towels pretty quickly, leaving plenty of beds available right up until 10am, if not later. It was great to see this actually being monitored.

The only downside for us was the entertainment. Yes, there's a live singer here and there, but for a family hotel we felt the children's entertainment was lacking. The kids' disco is squeezed into the side of the pool bar, and apart from a bingo night and some Greek dancing, it wasn't what we're used to when going abroad. If you're expecting an area where you can sit and watch a proper evening show, you'll probably be disappointed.

The daytime entertainment team were good too. Once you get to know them, they'll invite you to join in, but during your first few days it's easy to forget activities are even happening unless you go looking for them. That might suit some people, but it wasn't quite what we were expecting.

The kids' club, however, is amazing! The staff are brilliant, and everything is booked through the app, so you don't have to send the kids every day. It also keeps the numbers manageable, and they did something different every day.

Ignore the comments about mosquitoes and bees, it's just like any other Greek island and really wasn't an issue for us.

Overall, we had a fantastic stay. The bars, restaurant staff and food were all brilliant. The evening entertainment is the only thing that lets the hotel down, but we soon forgot about it and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.

We have recently stayed at the Apollo as a family of 4 with our children (8 &4). You can immediately tell from walking into reception that the hotel has recently been refurbished to a very good standard throughout.

Reception staff are friendly and helpful. The whole resort is kept immaculate. The food offering is extensive and food is replenished quickly. There is always a Greek influence to the food in the main buffet restaurant (be careful at peak times as sometimes the restaurant is busy and it is hard to find a table). The food is high quality and the chefs do a really good job of catering for allergies.

As we were there for x12 nights, we were able to eat at the a-la carte restaurants which serve different types of food with good selection and have a tinge of fusion with traditional Greek or Corfiot food - all of our meals were excellent as was the service, but special mention to Niki at Asador who cannot do enough for you.

The pools are spacious and there's no sunbed wars as the lifeguards monitor reservations and will duly remove towels. The hotel provide beach towels which you can change once a day which was also an added bonus and saved luggage space.

There's entertainment most nights, with Greek night on Sunday our personal favourite.

The hotel's location excellent and you can be on the beach in little over 1 minute from the gate where you'll find an area for hotel guests as well as plenty of little tavernas and cafe's.

Messonghi has plenty to offer from bars, taverna's, a couple of shops and a supermarket so make sure you venture out of the hotel and explore...Captain Homer's half day boat trip was excellent and departed from the river right next to the hotel.

There's plenty for the kids to do at the hotel, with a kids club, entertainment team, slides, mini golf, volleyball and football court. If you're desperate for mini golf, I'd suggest taking a golf ball as they tend to not get returned to reception and sometimes run out.

The highlight of the holiday for us was how friendly the staff were - they really are fully invested in you having the best time when you're there - from reception, cleaners, food and beverage, entertainment, gardeners and maintenance staff.

The hotel have an amazing garden where they grow their own fruit and vegetables and every Thurs at 930am, guests are invited to enter the garden and pick the fruit and veg. The chefs will then use these to cook a breakfast before your eyes and genuinely love doing this. It is well worth booking a seat at Asador for your breakfast there.

There is a green bus stop outside the hotel and it takes about 45 mins to get to Corfu Town and costs around EUR2.70 per person each way (be warned the station to get the bus coming back is a good 10 min walk from where you get dropped off so bare in mind).

All in all, a great holiday - we will be returning for sure!

A lovely hotel, on a large complex, but with approx. 300 rooms so not too crowded. There is an adults only area, including a pool. A gym and 2 other lovely pools, one with slides next too it which the whole family enjoyed. All restaurants had great food, the main restaurant had a massive variety of different foods every day, there really was something for everyone. good value holiday really enjoyed it. The spa was amazing, massages fabulous. all of the staff were really friendly, and the entertainment team were brilliant.
