Welcome to the hotel was rather hap-hazard being left for a long period of time, no map of hotel site given until we asked and no meal times etc. once we questioned a member of staff the information was given. Eventually went to desk as tired of waiting and was informed the porter would take us to our room. Room (209) was very small with limited storage space and cramped bathroom where the toilet door actually opened on to the toilet itself! Very tight space in bathroom to store toiletries. Maid cleaned daily but room minibar and coffee were not regularly stocked so we can to contact reception for additional supplies which were promptly supplied. Food in buffet restaurant was good. There were daily usual regulars of pasta, chips, salad bar etc but lovely fresh fish and meat options along with varying dishes for different country cuisines. Amazing supply of desserts. Drinks served at your table. Breakfast however we had long waits for coffee to be served and many times found machines and served this ourselves. Beach sand was corse but sunbeds were spaced out nicely. Sea was murky and stripey steps to enter. Drinks supplied to your sunbed by bar staff and Vasiliki a young girl serving us was particularly helpful always offering drinks and clearing away empties. She worked hard and always with a smile, she was polite and helpful… thank you. Gym was adequate and the guy who showed us around it was excellent and informative. Well stocked gym with water machine, towels and showers. All in all this was not a five star resort. The drinks were not all premium brands and the room was very small. Grounds were well kept and the majority of the staff were pleasant and welcoming. Although the towel man by the beach never even gave a ‘good morning’ We tried to get into the alacarte restaurants but were unsuccessful and you could not book further than two days ahead therefore we ate out in Gouvia istelf which had some lovely tavernas.
We have just come back from a weeks stay and have to say we had an amazing time. From the moment we got there and was greeted by Jacqueline on the Preferred Reception who was amazing. The bungalow we stayed in was fabulous and was cleaned every day with fresh towels in place each day. We could not compliment the staff enough. They were all so friendly, helpful and polite. Big mention to the wonderful waitress Katerina in the bar and a very big mention for Katerina K in the World Buffet Cuisine. They were both amazing with our 2 year old granddaughter. The food was exemplary in all restaurants and we did them all. No worries about getting bookings in the restaurants as long as you are flexible when you first get there and book them as understandably they will be full on the first night you get there. Entertainment was really good and we enjoyed all the shows. Our granddaughter love the mini disco and it was lovely to see the staff making special effort with all the toddlers.
Finally, would I stay here again! Without a doubt and will definitely be back.
Better than expected experiencez staff was very friendly, helpful and playful with our little one. Great service all around the resort including room service, service at the pool and restaurants. Would love to visit again if possible.
Stay was ok. Buffet food was very good at all mealtimes and a good variety. À la carte restaurants were very disappointing and had been a selling point when booking the holiday. Rooms clean and comfortable. Pool area needs an upgrade and was not cleaned every day. Easy to get beds round the pool albeit some broken. Pool was way too cold though. Overall enjoyed the holiday but wouldn’t go back.
We have had a very chilled week here Lovely hotel, staff were very friendly , helpfull and chatty. Room was very clean, stocked mini bar , towels changed daily, robes and slippers included
Advice is if you want a hot shower do this before 6.30 or water will be cold!
Complex was big, one heated pool but was crammed with families with babies, the other large pool was very quite and also had an adult only terrance beware the water is freezing!!!! Towels are supplied every day and you could always anytime get a sunbed at the main pool
There were 5 restaurants , 4 others, Greek, Mediterranean and Italian and the seaside bar. The Greek wasn’t really Greek, Mediterranean was nice and the Italian was really good The main restaurant breakfast was the best meal of the day as food was always hot Evening meals lots of choices but lukewarm / cold food which was a shame
