We booked this hotel as we wanted to spend our Golden Wedding anniversary somewhere special, we certainly weren’t disappointed. From the moment we arrived the staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. We were welcomed into the Preferred Lounge reception and given a welcome drink before being driven to our seafront bungalow, which was beautiful, had a nice bottle of wine waiting for us and chocolates too. Every aspect of our stay was first class, the food and drink in the preferred lounge was really good and it was a little quieter in there than some of the other places to eat. On our anniversary we returned to our bungalow to find another bottle of wine and a lovely cake. We did eat in the Greek restaurant on one evening, which was excellent, as was the Seaside Grill. We booked a boat trip to Corfu with Mr Spyros, who runs trips from the hotel pier, this was a great trip on a lovely old boat, with an interesting and funny commentary from our captain. We had a really nice relaxing week here and enjoyed celebrating our 50th anniversary at this lovely hotel. Thanks again to all the staff who made our stay special.
Wonderful stay at Hyatt Ziva Corfu
We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at the Hyatt Ziva Corfu and would definitely return. I am particularly fussy and haven't stayed in a large resort hotel for many years because they normally lack class and quality. But Hyatt Ziva was different.
From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful, which really added to our experience. The hotel was clean and well maintained, and our room was always clean, tidy and comfortable.
We were particularly impressed with the quality and choice of food. There was a really good variety available, with plenty of options to suit different tastes, and we never felt short of choice.
There was also a great choice of evening entertainment, with some very high-quality singers and entertainers. It was lovely to be able to stay in the hotel in the evenings and have something enjoyable to watch and listen to.
During the day, there were plenty of activities and things to do, so there was enough to keep people of all ages entertained. The hotel also benefits from three swimming pools, a beach and beautifully maintained grounds, giving plenty of options for relaxing or being more active.
One of the things we particularly liked was the mix of people staying at the hotel. There were younger couples, families with children of all ages, middle-aged couples and families, as well as groups of friends. It created a really nice atmosphere and meant the hotel felt welcoming to everyone rather than being aimed at just one particular type of guest.
We stayed as a couple and really enjoyed the balance between having plenty going on and still being able to relax. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return to Hyatt Ziva Corfu. A great choice for couples, families and groups looking for a quality all-inclusive holiday with plenty of choice and entertainment.
We stayed at the Hyatt Ziva for the 2nd time, last year it was Dreams Corfu hotel and spa. After reading some bad reviews for this year, i was extremely worried. After my visit I think the bad reviews was not for this hotel. Hyatt ziva is just as good as last year. The food. Staff and cleanliness was outstanding. We did have a small problem with aircon, but after reporting it to reception it was sorted in 5 mins. We went for our 30th wedding anniversary and was greated with a chocolate cake and bottle of wine with a handwritten card. Lovely touch. We plan on returning next September.
Lovely clean bungalow room everything working. Excellent service in the buffet restaurant, fresh foods cooked in front of you, restaurant manager Spiros went out of his way every day to accommodate my dietary requirements, a big thank you to all staff in the restaurant. It was kept clean and very on top of plates etc when finishing your food. Large swimming pool very clean and tidy, glad to have pool towels at any time from beside the pool, plenty of sunbeds. Excellent entertainment shows in the evening far better than other hotels we have been to. Only small negative was no adult only dining, even though there was an adult only pool. Overall I would highly recommend this lovely scenic hotel with beautiful views set in green and pretty gardens, I will definitely be coming back.
We spent a week here in a seaview bungalow opposite the inflatable water park. We had an amazing view of Mouse Island and the bay which was quiet at night. The bungalow was spacious, bed comfortable, plenty of storage. There was a table and two chairs on the balcony.
The staff are helpful and always attentive.
We enjoyed the food at the buffet and found a good selection, we did a night at one of the Greek restaurants Yaiyai and one at the Seaside Grill. We found the Seaside Grill had better service and better food.
I would agree with others that it’s not at 5 star status but it is a very good all inclusive hotel.
I didn’t go in the pools so I can’t comment on them as we preferred the beach area. However please be warned that the beach has steps into the sea
