Forget the classic hotel buffet and prepare for a new a la carte exclusive parea style culinary experience. Parea in Greek means within a group of friends this in our Cantina restaurant translates to the way we serve your food. Everything goes in the middle of the table while not served at the same time, so you can share and explore our street food delicacies, ranging from Far East to the Americas with healthy and Vegan options and with an emphasis on Greek regional cuisine.
Relax at the full-service spa, where you can enjoy massages, body treatments and facials. If you're looking for recreational opportunities, you'll find a fitness centre and a seasonal outdoor pool. Additional amenities at this hotel include complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and gift shops/newsstands.
This was my second stay at this beautiful hotel. From the minute you walk in, it smells lovely and the staff are welcoming. The rooms are clean, the toilet and shower are separate but that wasn’t an issue. The breakfast has so much to offer. Cold meats, cheeses, yogurt, fruit, seeds, nuts and fresh fruit. There was the usual bacon, eggs and sausages or you could get omelettes to order. Everything was fresh and never ran short. For lunch, we mainly ate at the pool bar. This is mainly salads and burgers, chicken wraps and a selection of fries. Again, all made to order and fresh. Alternatively you can dine in the main dining area. You order food to the table such as pizzas, meats and veg and you can select salad and deserts yourself at a buffet style area. Again, everything is replaced and fresh. The wine is good here. The same again for dinner, all food is ordered to the table via an app and you can order what you want. My friend and I visit here to relax and unwind for a few nights and we love it. I go to the gym, this is only small but has the basics and I’ve also attended yoga and pilates classes, you just need to book this each morning. They had evening entertainment in both the pool bar area and the main bar area. The only thing I’d like this hotel to change is the drinks menu as the choice of cocktails have remained the same over the past few years. Don’t get me wrong they are good, signature cocktails but they don’t have the usual ones included in the all inclusive package. They are an additional cost if you chose to have them, such as mojitos or margaritas. There was always an available sun lounger at both pools. That was never an issue. You can get a taxi to Corfu town which costs around 30 ish euros or you can get the bus in . You can walk to Gouvia which has tavernas and bars that overlook the sea.
Both times we’ve stayed for three nights which is perfect for us and we’ll be returning next year with our other friend, we can’t wait. To summarise, if you want a nice chilled break away with good food, you won’t be disappointed.
This is specifically for the Sound Healing at Cooks Hotel. It was an an amazing experience. The Sound Healer himself was truly inspirational. Highly recommended 😍
The hotel is aesthetically beautiful and we had a reasonably nice stay, but it definitely did not feel like a 5* experience so wasn’t worth the price.
The Aegeo Spa, which appears to be separate from the hotel, was excellent. Some of the positive reviews on this page are actually for the spa rather than the hotel itself making the hotel appear better rated than it is.
The service was the biggest disappointment. Staff seemed unhappy and interactions felt like a burden, with very little information provided on arrival and no one offering to assist with luggage. The lady operating the chill pool bar daily was miserable and rude, I honestly dreaded having to go up and ask for a drink.
The food was hit and miss. You order via an app (a-part from breakfast) but the options quickly became repetitive and never tasted fresh. The deserts often appeared like the breakfast pastries recycled. For 5* I’d expect proper coffees to be available to order at breakfast instead of having to operate cheap horrible coffee machines. The pool bar food was better but did have long wait times. The all-inclusive package excludes many popular cocktails and only offers a one time access to à la carte restaurant which we didn’t attend as the menu didn’t look appealing. The plastic glasses used for drinks often smelt of previous drinks.
There is the smoke grill restaurant which was excellent but you have to pay (30% discount).
The pool loungers were uncomfortable, and the evenings were very dull, with usually mediocre DJs as entertainment taking place near the lobby. The room was clean and comfortable but the layout lacked privacy, particularly around the bathroom, due to the very insufficiently frosted glass.
I feel hiring a car is essential for staying at this hotel. There aren’t many places nearby accessible by foot. The hotel is conveniently not too far from Corfu airport. We recommend Sluta Leta rentals (5 minute walk from hotel).
Overall, attractive hotel, but disappointing service and atmosphere for a supposed 5* experience. I wouldn’t return or recommend to friends.

I booked a massage here and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Joanna was absolutely wonderful and made the whole treatment feel so relaxing. She really took the time to work on the areas where I was carrying the most tension, and I felt an immediate difference afterwards. The spa has such a beautiful, peaceful atmosphere that you instantly feel at ease. I left feeling completely renewed and will definitely be booking another massage with Joanna!
An absolute 5-star experience! I booked a back massage at this gorgeous hotel spa, and Joanna was incredible. She completely melted away all the tension in my back and shoulders. The atmosphere was pure luxury, and Joanna’s technique was flawless. I highly recommend booking with her!
