Conveniently situated in Agios Ioannis Peristeron, on the beautiful and bright island of Corfu, this stunning accommodation is the ideal place to stay when visiting this destination. Nestled on the green mountain, visitors will be enchanted by the breath-taking natural surroundings and the blue Ionian Sea that extends right in front of the establishment. Corfu’s town centre is 16 kilometres away and Corfu International Airport is at around 15 kilometres away. All the air-conditioned rooms are fully equipped with modern amenities such as a satellite TV and boast great views to the sea, the hotel’s swimming pool or the mountain. The property offers several dining venues such as a restaurant, a lobby bar and a pool bar. Among other facilities, travellers may pamper themselves with a refreshing swim at the saltwater, outdoor swimming pool.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Just to put everyone's fears to rest about this hotel, if you've been to Greece and know about the food differences to the UK and to put the loo roll in the bin you'll be fine !
It's not the Canaries, Spain or Portugal.....its Greece. So for seasoned travellers if you go to Greece knock a start of what the hotel says.
Room was great, good shower, firm mattress and furniture was fairly new. That was my room though i can't speak for every room, and yes if you are the sort or person who puts on white glove and inspects every nook and cranny, you'll find something!
Food was typically Mediterranean always being restocked, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, and if you got there at the wrong time it may not be piping hot.
There was always something to eat usually only 3 choices of meat or fish, but quality loin pork steaks, beef chunks in sauce, leg of lamb, and roast chicken. Plenty of veg, potatoes, veg. Spaghetti/Pasta etc and enough salad variety to keep most happy.
Drinks were your typical local beer, wine and spirits, nothing you would recognise, there were cocktails on ofger and they seemed to go down well.
Main bar opened after 6pm and they will put the football on for yo if you ask, for an earlier game you need to go to the Cocktail Lounge Bar in Benitses.
Pool was crowded the usual towels on sunbeds at 8.30, but there enough other places for sunbeds so there were plenty, and across the road on a small shingle beach were more sun beds for hotel guests and the sea was so inviting and warm.
Bus stop outside the hotel took you to Benitses 2 miles away or on to Corfu Town 45 mins away €2.20 wherever you went. Cash or card, or purchase from agents for cheaper. A warning be careful walking along the roads, thought we'd walk to Benitses, soon changed our minds on that one, no paths and too many bends to negotiate on a busy coast road.
A beautiful location with a nostalgic atmosphere
The biggest highlight of Mitsis Belvedere is undoubtedly its location. The sea water is absolutely gorgeous — crystal clear, clean and beautifully blue — and the surrounding landscape is wonderfully green and peaceful. The hotel is situated uphill, which gives you beautiful panoramic views from the balconies, pool area and even around the entrance.
The buildings are older and have had only minimal renovation, so if you like the atmosphere and style of the 90s, you may actually find it charming. However, it is important to be realistic: it does not offer the same level of comfort or modern facilities you would expect from a newly built hotel. The rooms, in particular, could benefit from refurbishment. That said, the housekeeping is good and regular, and the rooms are kept clean.
One thing that deserves special mention is the staff. The people working at the hotel are polite and make a genuine effort to keep things running smoothly, which makes the overall stay more pleasant.
The food and drinks are decent and adequate rather than something exceptional. There is enough variety and quantity for everyone to have a proper meal, without expecting a gourmet experience. The ice cream was a pleasant surprise — it is available throughout the day and is of good quality. I don't drink alcohol or carbonated drinks, so I cannot really comment on those.
For entertainment, there is music every evening, although I personally found it a little too loud. There were also activities such as yoga and exercise sessions around the swimming pool.
For me, though, the crystal-clear sea and the panoramic views were what made the stay memorable. The natural beauty around the hotel is difficult to beat.
Overall, for the price you pay, I think Mitsis Belvedere offers good value for money. It is not a modern luxury hotel, and the rooms and buildings would benefit from renovation, but if you come mainly for the beautiful sea, nature, views and a relaxed holiday — while appreciating a little 90s nostalgia — it can be a very enjoyable stay.
Lorna was excellent, she brought so much energy everyday. She really made me holiday a 10/10.
I'm not usually a review person, but this definitely needed recognition!
Tonight was honestly amazing, which was a huge relief after yesterday. On our first night, there wasn’t any entertainment, and because of the hotel's isolated location, there’s literally nowhere else to go nearby, so we were left feeling pretty frustrated.
But tonight completely changed our experience . huge kudos to Lorna! She has 100% energy from the morning activities all the way to the night show, and it is so contagious.
The show she put on was incredible and the band was absolutely amazing. The energy was so great that absolutely everyone got involved, even the people watching from their balconies were joining in on the fun. They totally turned our stay around. Thanks for a great night.
