Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Read some of the reviews before we travelled and we weren’t disappointed!! Beautiful long drive down to hotel which is hidden away from the main dual carriageway! On arrival we were all given a cold hand towel and a welcome non alcoholic drink , while check in was done from the seats !! Headed up to our rooms where we were welcomed with a breath taking view and a spacious room! We were on the 4th floor !! The food is excellent in the buffet & both of the à la carte restaurants! Sun beds a plenty and very comfortable ❤️ Good choice of snacks during the day and night time entertainment was a lovely vibe . Staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Only a couple of very minor points there were loads of wasps around the outside bars . Which I know you can’t control to a point but it was a little off putting when waiting for drinks , bu the staff don’t seem to be faded by them 😬 The pools were freezing and took a little while to adjust . But hey I suppose that la the time of year . Beach wasn’t that big and the water sports were an extra charge . But overall we had an excellent stay and will hopefully return again .
I had Olybia for a massage and facial whilst I stayed here and it was a great experience - professional and relaxing.
I had popi as my therapist in the spa and I felt relaxed, comfortable and probably one of the best massages and facials I have had. I truly felt relaxed. Thank you! I would highly recommend Popi!
I recently stayed at the Kerkyra Blue on a girlie holiday with my mum, and I have nothing but positives to say.
The rooms were stunning, and felt lovely and fancy, rivalling some boutique hotels I’ve stayed at. The sliding doors to split the room made it perfect for mum and I to have our own space but not feel like we were staying alone. I’ve seen some reviews complaining about the noise of the air con but we were on the third floor and it was practically silent, and was delightfully powerful - I love sleeping in a freezing cold room. The cleaning staff were so friendly and lovely; we couldn’t fault them or the cleaning of the room.
The food at the buffets and the snack bar was incredible, way surpassing other hotels (including Raffles). Everything was flavourful and changed every day. It was great to have lighter options such as yoghurt and granola too in the snack bar if you didn’t fancy the buffet. We didn’t end up trying the à la carte restaurants as the menus seemed more fish heavy, which wasn’t to our taste, but we never went hungry with all the other options available. The staff in the bars and restaurants were just incredible, including the ladies walking around the pool serving, they certainly remembered us and our orders!
My only tiny gripe was that the pool was so cold, which meant it took a little while to get in, but with the heat of Corfu it was welcomed!
We have just returned home after a two-week stay and, overall, had a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday.
One of the highlights of this hotel is the reception, bar and restaurant staff, who genuinely go out of their way to make sure guests have a great experience.
Christina in the restaurant is a real asset and a credit to the hotel. She provided exceptional, friendly service throughout our stay and always made us feel very welcome. Her warm smile and helpful nature really stood out, and she is a wonderful member of the team.
The food was also excellent, with plenty of choice every day, including a great selection of fresh fruit and vegetables. There was something different to enjoy each day, and the quality and standard of the food were very good.
The entertainment was enjoyable too, with comfortable seating where you could relax and unwind in the evenings.
Unfortunately, we did have one incident that really made me question the hotel’s room security. I returned to my room one morning at around 10am to find that the door had been wedged open by the cleaner and left completely unattended. I walked into my room and sat there for around 10 minutes, and during that time anyone could potentially have walked in and taken belongings.
I found this extremely concerning. When I went to look for the cleaner, she was sitting approximately four doors away, on a bed, chatting to another member of staff. I am very thankful that nothing was taken from our room, but I feel this situation was a serious lapse in security and should not have happened.
Had this incident not occurred, I would happily have considered returning to the hotel. Unfortunately, it has left me feeling hesitant about doing so in the future, which is such a shame because the staff, food and overall holiday experience were otherwise excellent.
I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously and reviews its procedures to ensure that guests’ rooms are never left unsecured or unattended again.
