Restia Suites is an exclusive Adults-Only boutique resort right on the seafront of Almiros Bay in Corfu, Greece. It comprises of 30 Junior Suites, 16 of which have their own private swimming pool. Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
A beautiful hotel with fabulous rooms and amazing staff, however when I booked this hotel was listed as adults only. Apparently this altered to family friendly after I had booked my holiday and I was not informed of this change. The hotel is not suitable for children without them impacting on other guests. There is nothing for youngsters to do except play in the pool. The pool, which is stunning, is rather small and when there are a dozen or more children playing in it it becomes very noisy and busy. The constant splashing, running, jumping, shouting and crying was certainly not the relaxing atmosphere I was hoping for. During meal times, especially in the evening, there were lots of children running around the restaurant and outside dining area. Again this was not the relaxing, peaceful atmosphere I had hoped for. Such a shame as I can imagine when this was an adults only hotel it was probably as near to perfect as you could get. I am very disappointed I wasn’t informed of the policy change and offered the opportunity to cancel so I could have chosen a different, adults only hotel to stay at.
We have recently returned from a week at this hotel which we enjoyed although there are changes from previous stays of which there were many. Firstly the hotel is no longer adults only and now is half board or all inclusive which is all buffet service therefore the food although lovely and well presented is often not hot which is a shame. The new owners have improved certain areas but the bathrooms are definitely in need of an upgrade. The inclusion of families we feel caters for no one as it takes away the peace and relaxation for adults and has no facilities for children. I would like to say a big thank you to all of the staff too many to mention by name they were all wonderful.
We have just returned from one of the best relaxing holidays. This hotel is excellent in every. We booked half board but a couple of days we paid extra for all inclusive which we enjoyed. The food is so enjoyable always well presented and fresh. The staff in the whole hotel can’t do enough, they are friendly and so attentive. Our favourite place was the beach which was very quiet and the sea was warm. I will definitely be returning. Thank you all at restia.
Our room was large and cleaned immaculately every day. We had breakfast and dinner, plenty of choices and good quality, especially for the price point. The staff are excellent, super attentive and super polite. The grounds are lovely and really convenient to step out of the back of the hotel across a small road that is not busy, and you are on a pretty fabulous beach that is just not overly touristic. Disliked : The beds are very hard, the main swimming pool is lovely but needs to be re-grouted. On a separate note, I rented a car through booking.com, to keep it short, the service was absolutely diabolical, the details were all incorrect and booking.com gave me absolutely lousy support. There was no car available within my group and booking.com. charged me £185 fine for nothing, the rental company was happy to fully refund me. On my return to the airport from 600 m away in 33° heat with all the luggage we rented from Sixt directly which was cheaper with incredible service. Do not use this platform for renting cars.....
Such a calm and beautiful place to stay in Corfu. The property is very well maintained and the rooms are stylish with high-quality amenities. Breakfast by the pool each morning was one of our favorite parts of the trip.
