Kairaba Sandy Villas

We had an amazing experienced at this hotel where we spent our family holiday in September 2026. During our stay, we visited the à la carte restaurant Ermis with fantastic food and service. I'd like to give special thanks to the kind waitress Sofia who was willing to speak Greek to me even though my speaking skills are very limited :-).

I have just returned home from a weeks stay at Sandy Villas and that was too long! This hotel may have a 5 star rating but certainly isn't! maybe this is because we can be charged a 5 star tax upon arrival? It is a huge complex shared between Sandy Beaches and Sandy Villas with nearly 778 rooms / suites and Rizo Resorts certainly know how to pack this place out to its maximum ! it is under staffed so you can only imagine what meal times are like at the main restaurant CHAOTIC !! didn't make a pleasant dining experience from start to finish. Greek and Italian restaurants need booking asap to avoid disappointment due to staffing issues not flexible at squeezing you in.
The hotel reassure you that getting around the complex is not a problem due to the buggy service offered HOWEVER there is simply not enough to go around and don't always turn up so pack your comfy walking shoes. Rooms unclean , no iron/ironing board due to health and safety regulations however having a leaky aircon unit dripping all over the bedside electrics all week didn't seem to matter. The room furnishings where poor , polystyrene mirror frames/skirts etc which you do not expect from a 5 star establishment.
Gardens unmaintained , dirty pool areas. Worth noting not everything is included in your all inclusive packages ... a lot of drinks , slush puppies and ice creams are not included , so check this . The hotel operates a drinks token system which made you feel as though you were on rations! On the whole , I certainly wouldn't recommend this hotel based on my own personal experience.
