The King Jason Hotel

Me and my partner (both late 20's) have just spent 10 nights at the King Jason and we had such a lovely trip. The hotel had a real mixture of ages from all over which was nice.

In terms of location, we actually felt the location was fab and was only a short walk to the harbour/sea front, but could also get the shuttle bus which was very convenient.

The room was lovely and much nicer than we were expecting with lots of storage. The air con was great, actually verging on too cold if anything but very easily adjusted. The only downside with the room was we had a few dead cockroaches but the hotel sorted and treated the room really promptly so was well managed. We also had some issues with our room key card on a number of occasions but easily sorted again.

The pools were great, but the lounger situation wasn't the best. Although the hotel says no reserving, this was done a lot and if you leave the hotel in the morning we struggled to then get a lounger in the afternoon, with one day we had to use the indoor pool instead. But after about 30 minutes we managed to get a lounger so wasn't the end of the world.

The staff- couldn't fault them. Especially at the pool bar on a night time.

The atmosphere- was lacking a little on a night, I know there was some entertainment but wasn't really our thing. We went to the pool bar most nights which was better but closed at 11pm unfortunately.

The food- really mixed. Overall good especially for an all inclusive, but some nights it wasn't the best. The puddings were also not labelled which we didn't really like. The À la carte was genuinely lovely though. And the drinks were fab across the board.

Not sure we would come again but more so due to the atmosphere, otherwise it was a lovely holiday.

Lovely hotel. Still here while writing. Rooms 4/5. ( have a studio, very clean & comfortable) Pools x3 5/5. (Plenty of sun bed reservations going on but I dont know why as I am not having any trouble getting a bed) Service/staff 5/5. (All polite and helpful) Food 5/5. (Cant fault it) Location 3/5. (Residential area but not too far from the bars) All inclusive 5/5 (branded drinks) Entertainment - not sure, read reviews and wasn't impressed so have gone out every night as there's plenty going on outside and is cheap enough. I would definitely recommend and will come back.

An amazing week at King Jason. After a seamless check in with a glass of fizz and chocolates we were shown to our executive suite and it certainly exceeded our expectations. Yes it’s in a separate block but we didn’t mind that and I was able to watch the sunrise most mornings. A huge thank you to Vesi & Kira at the pool bar for making me feel so special on my birthday and that was on top of our second bottle of fizz and a birthday cake. The atmosphere in the evening can feel a little flat (unless the DJ is there) so we spent our evenings at the pool bar. Food: there’s something for everyone! Although the Peruvian restaurant could be an acquired taste but we loved it. Location: It is out the way, and does back on to a busy road but if you are in your room you don’t hear a thing. The walk to the harbour takes about 15-20 minutes at an amble as it’s all down hill slightly longer in the heat coming back. Spa: excellent massage, how someone so slight in stature can have such powerful thumbs!!!!! Would definitely return if only for the hydro pool & see Vesi again 😁.
