Our second stay at the Ivi Mare to celebrate our ten year wedding anniversary was just perfect in every sense. From the warm welcome on our arrival we immediately felt relaxed. All the staff in the Ivi Mare are fantastic, always courteous and friendly. We were so lucky to get the same room we had for our first stay as well. We were greeted with Non alcoholic wine flowers and a lovely cake in our room when we arrived. Gestures like that make your stay feel extra special. We were half board so we had the opportunity to have a choice of eating either at lunch or evening meal. The breakfast in the main restaurant has lots of choices which we loved from all the fruits yogurts salads cooked breakfast omelettes the delicious fresh breads just marvellous. We spent every day around the pool and what a perfect place to lay back and relax on the best sun beds ever. The pool is wonderful and great to dip in out and of throughout the day. The atmosphere is chilled and the pool side staff are amazing and make your day as pleasant as possible by being attentive throughout. The Ivi Mare is situated right on the water front and you can go anywhere for a walk along the front to different beaches for a swim in the sea which was lovely also. Our evening were mainly spent this time having a meal in the Main restaurant which had a different themed evening throughout the week. The food was delicious as expected. We did really enjoy the two other restaurants that they have on site. Both the Greek and the Japanese fusion were top notch. We also enjoyed a few nights out in and around Paphos to eat but we always made it back to the hotel for the evening’s entertainment down by the pool area which was a perfect way to end the evening. Thank you for such a wonderful experience and we loved everything about our stay. We will be definitely coming back for a third time in the near future until then take care.

3rd visit in 4 years! Everything about this place is fab. From the amazing smell of the hotel as soon as you step inside and the immaculate housekeeping from Vericona who ensured our room was well maintained. A special shout out to Tom, Barbara, Rajan, Diana, Mohammed & Pampos who made every meal memorable and greeted us like returning friends ❤️ and poppie for making our eggs to perfection each morning. The addiction of the cocktail party was a great way to meet other guests and we were welcomed by hotel managers Andreas & Nickolas whose friendly persona shone through!. Also many thanks to Emad and Giovanna who kept our drinks flowing. A very relaxing week spent on the top quality sun loungers and the frequent snacks brought round daily were welcomed. Already planning next years visit 😊
We've just arrived back from a wonderful week at the Ivi Mare. We had the most relaxing stay and were very impressed with the hotel and the quality of everything from how clean it was, how friendly the staff were and the food and drink always being a high standard.
I loved how there was no fight for sun loungers (which are so thick and comfy, had some good naps on them!) the order through the app to your lounger is a great touch and we loved the little surprises like smoothies, fruit skewers and ice creams brought to your bed.
The buffet restaurant ran incredibly smoothly and the food was outstanding. We used the omelette station most mornings and the evenings we used the buffet the food always blew our expectations. At lunch we opted for the pool bar as it was nice to have table service and also the meals there were delicious, my partner opted for the burger most days and I loved the Greek salad, caprese salad and the pizzas!
We did use the Greek and Japanese restaurant which came in our all inclusive stay which were very good, usually the à la carte restaurants out shine the buffet massively but actually the standard was that good in the buffet they all felt very much on the same level, in a good way.
Drinks were a high standard, best ones were at the mirrors bar served by Youssef of course. He always chatted with us, remembered our room number and made delicious cocktails. He was a big stand out staff member for us.
The rooms were always clean and the mini bar / tea and coffee re stocked every day and if you particularly liked one drink they would give you extras if requested. Only negative with the room is it was very dark, the lighting was minimal so hard to get ready in. Also the only full length mirror being inside a wardrobe in a dark corridor made it hard to check outfits.
We walked to the harbour a few times which took around 40 minutes but we like walking and was very easy path just along water front. We did take the bus once, only €2 per person and a bus stop right outside the hotel too.
We used the spa facilities, pool is very cold! But facilities themselves were well kept and felt very relaxing. We also had a massage there too which was good, they really worked the knots out of our shoulders!
All in all we had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed our time at the Ivi Mare, again a special mention to Youssef our wonderful bar man and also Diana in the buffet restaurant who was always really fun to chat to in the evenings. Also the lovely blonde lady who worked by the pool (didn't catch her name) was always smiling and friendly. All the staff work incredibly hard and they along with the high standard of food and drink made the trip for us!
This hotel is absolutely superb!! We have now been to the Ivi Mare 4 times and it never disappoints. The staff are so friendly and the service is fantastic. The only warning I would give is to your waistline! the food quality and choice is excellent and as well as the buffet option there are 2 a la carte choices of Greek or Japanese Restaurants (Japanese is our favorite). We will definitely be making a 5th visit very soon.
This was our second stay at this hotel and it didn't disappoint. We arrive late evening and were welcomed with a cold drink and refreshing flannel. We had a garden view room, but you could still see the sea from the balcony. The room had plenty of storage, an iron and ironing board and the bed was extremely comfortable. We slept very well, but we were woken early each morning with the planes flying over. It was no big deal for us as we tend to be early risers. The breakfast was very good, my husband lived off perfect poached eggs for the whole two weeks. He has a nut allergy and the Chefs were excellent making sure everything he wanted was nut free. Chef made him special desserts, which were so good, I was very jealous. The food in the buffet is one of the best we have eaten and the hot food is always hot. The salads are outstanding and so much choice. There is a different theme each evening and we particularly enjoyed the chilli, curries and moussaka. The roast pork with crackling was excellent as was the roast chicken. All the meat I had was tender and flavoursome, which is unusual for a hotel buffet. We ate in the Japanese a couple of times and enjoyed the food and experience. We didn't eat in the Greek this time as we didn't enjoy it on our last visit. The only downside on this holiday was the snack bar. We ate there on the first day and the service was awful. We waited over 20 mins for drink service and the tables from previous guests were not cleared during this time. We then had another wait for our food, which we didn't really enjoy. We tried again the following day and the service had improved, but the food still not great. We ate in the buffet after that and enjoyed our lunches. We tried the snack bar again a few days before we came home, service was OK, but the hot food when it arrived was cold. We were not the only guests that day experiencing this. Because of this and this is the only reason I have given four stars to my review. Sun beds are really comfortable either by the pool or on the beach. Not sure why guests reserve them before 7am as there always plenty available. The QR scan for drinks from your sun bed makes you very lazy, the service is very quick and efficient. The staff in the hotel are outstanding, always polite and friendly and on the whole give exceptional service. Those that stood out on this stay were Pampos in the restaurant, a true gentleman. Angela in the Mirrors bar and also the male member of staff who washed the glasses most evenings in the Mirrors Bar. We don't know his name, but he always greeted us with a smile and a wave. We would definitely consider staying again, but would like to try Cali resort and spa next time for a change.
