This enchanting hotel is nestled in a peaceful area of Paphos, around the main tourist area and just a few paces from the nearest beach. Guests will find the nearest restaurants, bars and nightspots in the immediate vicinity of the property. Located a stone's throw from the Tombs of the Kings, the resort offers history and culture as well as the advantage of being away from the commotion of the busy harbour and the old and new town centres and Paphos Castle, all of them within 1.5 km, while golfing fans will find the nearest golf course just a 20-minute drive away. The accommodation units are colourful, bright and fitted with cosy furniture and modern comforts to create a welcoming and warm atmosphere. The lovely restaurant offers Greek and international dishes in a carefree ambience and excellent service. This snug complex also features an indoor swimming pool with a poolside snack bar and a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Stayed only 1 night as a family of 4. The apartment we got was fine in terms of comfort but there was only 1 air con unit for 2 rooms so it took a very long time to cool the room down and we ended up asking for a fan for the kids sleeping in the living room. Upon check out the Cypriot desk clerk demanded 3 euros for the use of the fan. When I said we were not going to pay considering the ac unit was so small that it couldn’t cool the whole apartment he demanded we leave the premises immediately and was quite aggressive! Would not recommend this accommodation at all. The only cooking facilities are a kettle and an airfryer. There was a half used box of cereal in our cupboard and a smell of mould throughout the apartment. No shampoo or shower gel left at all. I know we got a good deal for the price but these things are standard.
The Tasmania is located slightly out of the main town and attractions. However everything is a short stroll away. For all other visits the bus station is situated just outside the hotel and buses run regularly to town, harbour and various beaches. We stayed in a superior room which was large with a huge balcony/terrace. The hotel is self catering and this is where the Tasmaria falls short. The ONLY way to cook is a small air fryer, if we had been on holiday with our 3 children we would have really struggled. There is not even a roster which I find very poor. The mattresses, what can I say, I have come home with actual bruises on my hips due to how hard they were, so, so uncomfortable. We couldn’t unpack our cases as they were no hangers any where and on opening the ward robe in the main bedroom there was a strong smell of urine which came from the blankets in there. The added extra was a cockroach that appeared in the bedroom and then disappeared behind the wardrobe 😩 Due to the size of the room we booked (it was the last one left) meant if we wanted air con in both the bedroom and the lounge/kitchen area would have cost us €16 a night. We could, however, chose whether we wanted either or! The pool area is beautiful with non moveable sun beds which were so comfy I considered sleeping on them rather than the bed. The staff are ready all day to serve you drinks and ice-cream. However food is seriously limited to toasties, that said there is plenty of grocery shops in the area where you can grab snacks. The beaches we went to were all rocky into the sea with sandy beaches which makes popping into the sea to dip difficult and puts you off visiting the beach. The harbour is a definite must, we spent 3 beautiful evenings at the harbour where there are plenty of eateries and experiences. Would I visit again, probably not.
Back again to the wonderful Tasmaria. This year there's been a lovely upgrade of the swimming pool and outside showers. The staff are a wonderful, helpful and friendly crew. Thanks for another terrific 11 days and nights in the Paphos sunshine.
Lovely apartments, very well equipped, all the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was very good, lots of choice, lovely coffee The whole place and pools were really clean. Only thing was that the bar closed at 5pm, even when the World Cup was on. We would stay there again.
Stayed here in july for a week for my birthday. On arrival at checkin the manager realised from my passport it was my birthday so then he upgraded my room free of charge. I had a fantastic stay in a beautiful suite very clean complex the staff were very friendly and helpful i had no problem getting a sunbed also situated in a great location. I would highly recommend these apartments to anyone who is thinking of coming to paphos.
