After a very disappointing start to our holiday at another hotel and due to our experience elsewhere falling well below expectations, we made the decision to move here, and it was the best decision we could have made although this was at our own expense. From the moment we arrived, the difference was remarkable. Our room was spacious, spotless, and maintained to an exceptionally high standard, with immaculate housekeeping every single day. In fact, the cleanliness throughout the entire hotel was outstanding. The staff were incredibly attentive and genuinely cared about ensuring guests had a great experience. A special mention must go to the restaurant manager, who was absolutely amazing with all the babies and young children in the hotel. Her warmth, patience, and attention made a real difference to so many families. The food was faultless throughout our stay. As self-confessed coffee lovers, we normally seek out a local coffee shop wherever we travel, but the coffee here was so good that we never felt the need to go elsewhere. The pool area was equally impressive: spotless, plenty of sun loungers with comfortable padded cushions, and refreshingly free from the usual early-morning "sun lounger wars". The all-inclusive drinks offering and additional benefits were excellent, adding real value to the stay. The location couldn't be better either, with the harbour just a short walk away. Overall, this hotel completely salvaged what had started as a very upsetting holiday and turned it into a wonderful one. We left feeling relaxed, cared for, and genuinely grateful to the whole team. We wouldn't hesitate to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The only negative I can find is that we requested a late checkout (4pm) instead of 12 as our flight was at 7:30 and we were charged 80 Euros. This left a bitter tastes considering we had paid 2,590 euros directly to the Hotel for the weeks stay.
Location perfect short distance from airport, hotel is close walk to harbour and beach. Atmosphere is nice and chilled. Staff are attentive, friendly, warm and keep everything so nice and clean and tidy. But everything is done with minimal fuss. I’d say it’s a bit on the expensive side but so worth it. Noise levels are fine where we are. But our room does overlook someone’s back yard. Not the greatest balcony view but we haven’t used it at all. I’d prefer this than a room right over the entertainment that would get super loud. This is not a grumble as we are so pleased. Just info for others booking. Spa was amazing treatment with Kamelia was wonderful. So relaxing and therapeutic. I love this place and will hopefully come back. Thank you to Kleoniki for helping us add on an additional room, and meet our needs as a family travelling with elderly parents. Highly recommended!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The hotel has lovely staff especially in the dining hall.. Food is excellent & the choice available is good.. Our room was spacious but let down by a dingy bathroom which needs an upgrade we had a swim up room which was ok but unfortunately due to the lack of respect from some of the people our space was sometimes a walkway to the other swim up rooms.. Not the hotels fault as they can't conduct peoples behaviour.. Location is good for the harbour which has plenty of bars & restaurants. This is a family hotel & has alot of groups getting married so if you are looking for peace & quiet this is not the hotel for you... If you are coming with children then you won't be disappointed.. But unfortunately for me this is not a hotel I would return to.. But having said that I i would definitely recommend to people with children..
We had the most amazing time at Sofianna with our family. All the staff were lovely and so friendly, from the bar staff to the cleaners, always had a smile. We had a problem with our door in our room and sorted out so quickly.
The food was amazing, well actually exceptional , and as a vegetarian I always found plenty to eat which made a nice change.
We had a deluxe swim up room, which was so big and spacious, with easy access to the pool.
We used the spa twice, such low key staff and the massages were amazing. Kamelia is exceptional and honestly, I think it was the best massage I’ve ever had! I would definitely recommend her.
The location of the hotel is great, a short walk to the harbour and shops. We used the taxis a few times, different companies and cannot fault any of them.
We also loved feeding the cats 🐈❤️ and I really hope they continue to be looked after once all the tourists have gone home, as they deserve love and care too.
We’ve had such a lovely holiday, Paphos is now my favourite place , and we made some great memories . Thank you to everyone at Sofianna for making our stay so special. We will definitely be going back! ❤️☀️
