3rd time and wont be the last
This was our 3rd visit and can honestly say this is like a home from home. The majority of the staff are the same from previous visits and they all remember you and make you feel welcome. All the staff in the restaurant were lovely and remembered your drinks orders which is a nice touch and makes you feel like a valued guest. The hotel is perfect for its location to the harbour and the chilled vibe around the pool. There were no issues with sunbeds and was still plenty available even late into the morning. The only thing i would say which wasn't as good as previous visits was the entertainment as the company they now use is different to previous, they still did a great job however i felt the previous company were more interactive with guests and i believe this may have been as the majority previously were English so this made it easier to chat and interact. Also the entertainment on an evening was better previously, they do now have a singer on a couple of nights a week however this is in the pool bar and its very hot over there due to all the lights, also quiz and bingo played there rather than at the stage area which it was done before. I would suggest that this is moved back to the stage as there is more seating there and more in the open. I would return tomorrow if i could and cant wait until we go again.

Can’t wait to come back
We recently went to Sofianna for a family holiday and had the best time. The hotel itself is spotless, the staff are constantly cleaning and it doesn’t go unnoticed. The facilities are good and our room was modern and had everything we needed. The travel cots we requested had actual mattresses and were clean. The layout of the hotel has been very well thought out, plenty of shaded area, which is perfect when you have small children. The kids splash park was great. The food was better than expected, every day was something completely different and it was all really nice. The staff across the hotel were wonderful, especially Kripesh, Anisha and Kabita. They went above and beyond to speak to our children, remember their names and offer warm service. The blonde barmaid in the pool bar (sorry can’t remember her name) was also brilliant. The location was perfect, a quick walk down to the harbour was a highlight on the evening. We love paphos and have been many times. We will definitely be coming back to stay again. My only critique is that the evening entertainment could have been better.

Fab Family Hotel!
This is our 1st time staying at Louis Sofianna Resort & Spa in Paphos. We stayed as a family of 5 - 2 adults, 3 teenagers from 19/08 - 26/08. We also travelled with family consisting of 9 adults and 5 children.
We have previously stayed at Louis Phaethon and Louis Imperial, both in Paphos.
Location is brilliant 10 minute walk from the harbour. The airport is around 20 mins in a taxi.
The food in the buffet is plentiful, breakfast consists of fresh omelettes, poached/fried/scrambled/boiled eggs, pastries, breads, fruits, salad and lots more hot options such as chicken sausages, pancakes etc. Whatever culture/country you are from you will 100% find something that you like to eat! Lunch is similar, fresh rice, pasta, vegetables, meats, pizza etc plus salads, soups etc. Dinner has set theme nights, ie, Italian, Asian, Indian etc. The desserts are amazing, always fresh cakes, mousses and plenty of fruit! All allergen labels shown clearly. My 12 yo daughter has a dairy allergy so this was a huge help to her identifying what she could/couldn’t consume. The staff here work so hard and are truly a credit to this hotel.
Unfortunately, we didn’t dine in the à la carte restaurant as we were unable to get 19 of us in on one sitting. We would have like to have tried as there is a complimentary €15pp voucher for this restaurant.
Snack bar was also really lovely, this had pizza, chips, pasta, cakes and ice cream. One of my teens dined here daily!
The drinks are all local spirits, local beer is Keo. Staff again work so hard at the pool bars and lobby bar, you’ll never be out of a drink! Alina at the pool bar was brilliant! Also Kripesh in the main restaurant! Kept us topped up with drinks!)
Our room was a triple room, room 1310. We had a balcony overlooking quite a few buildings and below us was the kitchen. Initially I was unhappy with the room given as the smell from the kitchen was quite strong. After sleeping on this, we decided to not ask to move as we agreed we were only sleeping in the room. Fresh towels changed every 2 days plus bedding. Handwash/Shampoo etc provided in shower. DND/Make up room panel was really handy! The only thing I would like to mention is I’ve never been to a Louis hotel and not had bottled water provided daily. We had one 1.5L bottle when we arrived and nothing after. There are also a few English channels for those in between hours when you just need some background noise or a 30 minute break or to catch up on news at home.
My husband and brother in law were getting up at 7.30am to pop towels down on sunbeds. As a large party of 19 we wanted to be able to sit together. These sunbeds were all used daily. There were however, sunbeds that were not used yet towels on them. The pools are lovely and warm. Splash park was a big hit with the little ones! Pool towels are changed every 3 days at the spa. There were a couple of days where we couldn’t change them as they had ran out. The only gripe I have with the pool is that it turned some of my teens swimwear green, plus most of our lilos etc. Having been in Paphos 2 weeks previously at another hotel I can confirm it is not my washing powder or sun cream as we used the exact same 2 weeks previous.
The nearest beach is a 15 minute walk. Local water sports nearby also for the adventurers.
Daytime entertainment was enjoyable, the staff came around to everyone to see who’d like to take part etc, they weren’t at all pushy and were lovely! The evening entertainment started at 7.30pm. This initially was a kids mini disco followed by singers, bingo, quizzes, dancing show etc.
Overall this hotel and location are perfect. The grounds are well kept and vibrant

TOP TIP LADS! Football bar right outside the hotel shows every match possible!! We loved it there.
We had such a fantastic stay at Sofianna Hotel and honestly couldn’t recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome. The hotel has a wonderful atmosphere, the staff are friendly and attentive, and there’s such a lovely sense of warmth throughout the whole place. FOOD WAS AMAZING!! Thank you to the chefs!!
A huge thank you to Greta and George from Management for all their hard work and for helping make our stay so enjoyable. You can really see the care and effort that goes into making sure guests have a fantastic holiday.

Amazing Hotel wonderful family memories to last a lifetime
Had a wonderful time, food was amazing and location perfect for walking down to the harbour. Bed was absolutely solid, but were provided with a mattress topper which helped. We stayed in the 2 bedroomed apartment which had a enormous terrace. The drinks were great and hardly any queues at the bar. The swimming pools were so warm, making pool volleyball an absolute pleasure. The ice cream shop in the harbour is a must visit. The only real downside was sunbed availability, we always got 4 together but not in a optimal spot. All the staff are lovely, including the person who removed a wounded pigeon from our terrace with such grace and humility.
