Just came back from a week at the Sofianna. I cannot fault this hotel. My daughter and I had a lovely time. Beautiful food, facilities, our room, the amazing staff from the cleaners and life guards up to management. I could go on and on. 10/10
My masseuse was Kamelia and she was brilliant. Discreet, sensitive, but hit the spot on all areas that needed some work. Highly recommend totally worth it.
Fantastic hotel, I read all the positive reviews before I arrived and they’re all spot on. The staff are all friendly and so helpful. Our room overlooked the pool and it was extremely clean, very spacious and quiet. The food was plentiful and amazing quality…..so much choice. Freshly squeezed orange juice and made to order omelettes for breakfast! Our first visit to Cyprus and we couldn’t have picked a better hotel. Fabulous location, easy walk to harbour and Sodap beach. We also visited the spa and had a massage with Kostas and a facial with Kamelia which was wonderful. A thoroughly enjoyable holiday thanks to this hotel. We would not hesitate to return or recommend.

We honestly couldn’t fault our stay at the Sophianna Hotel in Paphos. From the moment we arrived, the staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble.
Our room was impeccably clean, and the hotel was also very accommodating and accessible for people with mobility needs. We felt that consideration had been given to making the hotel easy and comfortable to navigate, which is really important and something that shouldn’t be overlooked.
The pool area was also kept beautifully clean and tidy throughout our stay. A special mention has to go to the lifeguard – he was absolutely fantastic at his job. He was attentive, professional and clearly took his responsibility seriously. We genuinely couldn’t fault him.
And then there’s the FOOD! 🤤 Honestly, if you need another reason to stay here, stay for the food! You literally cannot go wrong. There is so much choice, everything is fresh, and with different themes every single night, there was always something new to look forward to. It was absolutely fantastic.
Nikki and all the staff deserve a special mention too – they were all so lovely and really helped make our holiday so enjoyable.
The only thing I would say could be improved is the sunbed situation. People are putting towels down extremely early in the morning, which can be frustrating if you’re not someone who wants to get up at 6am just to reserve a bed! I do feel that perhaps someone could take control of the situation and set some clearer boundaries around reserving sunbeds, particularly to ensure that everyone, including guests with mobility needs, has a fair opportunity to enjoy the pool area.
That aside, we absolutely loved our stay. In fact, we loved it so much that we’ve already booked to come back next year! 🥰
