At Minthis you can be as active or relaxed as you choose, sit and watch the world go by at the Plateia, book a golf round at the 18-hole championship golf course or immerse yourself in nature on the hiking and mountain bike paths.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Great stay and spa facilities
Honestly the best brunch ever (the pankakes are the best)
Probably the worst massage I have ever had. The masseuse barely spoke English and used an excessive amount of oil. Due to her clear lack of experience, I asked her to switch to a foot massage to avoid further discomfort, but even that was so poor that I had to stop the session entirely. When I complained, a staff member said she would speak to her manager, who later charged me the full amount with no explanation or apology. The only resolution offered was a 10% discount on a 140 euro massage, which is completely ridiculous given the experience. Beyond the massage itself, the spa was poorly managed. There were no towels available and the ones provided in the lockers were not even dry. Very disappointing overall, this is not a 5* experience.
Disappointing service experience
We stayed at the resort with two children and booked the ridge Villa for five nights, at a cost of €4,000, including breakfast.
The villa is located almost one kilometer from the reception and the clubhouse where breakfast is served, which meant that we had to drive there every morning.
The only way to contact reception is via WhatsApp, which made communication with the hotel staff quite difficult and cumbersome.
However, the biggest disappointment was that our villa was not cleaned and the towels were not replaced for four days, despite us asking several times. And to make things worse, no one even contacted us to offer any kind of assistance.
This kind of service is simply not acceptable for a resort of this standard.
I would not recommend staying here. The value for money is very low.
Very disappointing.
Our recent second stay at Minthis confirmed what a special place this is. The architecture is clean, considered, and well integrated into the surrounding landscape.
We soaked in the quiet by the pool, enjoyed superb dining at Amaracus, and made the most of the fantastic morning breakfasts. The spa is a standout, sleek, cinematic, and genuinely high-spec. Dividing our days between morning workouts in the gym and evenings unwinding in the sauna and treatment rooms made for the ultimate restorative break.
Between the beautiful restorative setting and the care shown by the team, Minthis delivered pure relaxation. We’re already looking forward to bringing the whole family back next year.
