firstly booked as a package with jet 2 once again no problems apart from their awfull flight times.arrived just before midnight .first disapointment allocated our room which was at the rear of a block without a usable balcony and a view of a run down building.enquired about a move was told 15 euro per person per night we were there 14 nights so decided against the extra 420 cost.overall all staff no problems cannot find many faults with the mayfair location was ok few minutes walk to the shopping mall and a short bus ride to the harbour or the old town for the market cost 2 euro food was excellant plenty of choice .sadly let down for us was lack of bars with live music which is something we like as hotel entertainment is not the best usual stuff karaoke and dance shows etc.another let down was the entertainment team they were so unenthusiastic and not really engaging an example is every day the aqua gym the girl would pull up here speaker play the music go throuh the motions then when finished just walk away no clapping or words of thanks or interacting with them.sunbeds usual earlybirds putting towels down the life guard started work at 9.00am and removed any unattended towels on beds at 9.30am.if you are a football fan pafos fc is close by but you need to get a fancard id from the club shop in the theimall to attend games i could not get the app to work kept rejecting passport photo .one trip i highly reccomend if your budget allows is the wavedancer evening show meal and fireworks boat trip 65 euro pp drinks extra was probably one of the best holiday trips we have done excellant value for money book through your rep our direct at the harbour.we did not go to the beach so cannot comment on that was a bit disapointed to find they did not provide a shuttle bus apologies if this review is bit all over the place i am writing as things pop into my head.overall we had a lovely holiday big question would we return dont think so only due to lack of nightlife big tip when booking request a pool view
We have just come from our fourth visit to the Mayfair and as usual we weren’t disappointed. Everyone is so friendly and nothing is to much trouble from Inkia to Olga and especially George who is the Restaurant manager who would always ask if everything was okay is there anything we needed .So a big thanks to George for Helping our holiday go smoothly.
Excellent hotel Clean rooms Fabulous food & service from Georgiou & his staff Entertainment team were great especially Bogdan who made time for everyone Would reccomend & return
Brilliant food and great atmosphere on the evening all round good experience
Great service and food for a. All inclusive. One of our party had a GF diet and George more than looked after her. Great selection of food every night. Rooms are spacious and light with working aircon. Gardens pool has more sunbeds, hotel pool was chocka everyday. Drinks not watered down, recommend the Leon. Angelos at the po bar was our special friend when it came to shots and blue lagoons. Flying pig staff notice your AI band and automatically provide 20% discount for beers. Great for sports. All pros so far, the staff could not do serve you better. Downside - maybe the location as the walk into Kato isn’t the prettiest. Not enough non smoking tables for our liking in the dolphin bar in the evening.
