Could not fault a thing; from the friendly and professional service, to the stunning room and hotel, to the amenities. Everything added a touch to make the experience a brilliant one. The room was immaculate, the plunge pool was just amazing, and the house keeping attentive. Definitely an establishment I will be returning to.

Luxury and beautiful

We were in the romantic suit with private pool. 
The room was incredibly comfortable and beautiful, the art, furniture and pool was a unique experience.

The hotel had renovated and has a beautiful history.

The restaurant and Bar in the hotel was amazing, breakfast lunch and dinner.

Perfection

Pros: hotel brand new, very clean, sun beds incredible, pool gorgeous. Great location, 2 mins from the harbour. Reception staff very friendly, lovely roof top bar (although view is of derelict buildings and can’t see the harbour). Food by the pool is amazing.

Cons: pool area next to a main road, loud traffic all day, building works opposite hotel so had to listen to drilling and banging very loud for 10 hours a day by the pool. Our room was very small and a bit like a prison cell (we did book the cheapest room with no balcony but didn’t expect a 5 star hotel to have rooms so small with no surface space in the room to put my stuff and nowhere to keep suitcases) Not enough plugs by mirrors. Food and drink expensive by the pool, told off for drinking own water and sprite that we bought from the shop. Smell of sewage by the pool. The hotel was heaving at the weekend as it was fully booked, capacity of 120 people and only 40 sun beds was ridiculous, people had to sit on chairs and the floor around the pool and they brought the sun beds from peoples balconies to the side of the pool. It felt overcrowded. They had a no reserving sun beds policy, the life guard was very hot on removing towels but if we got in the pool for a while we worried we'd lose beds. Had to ask for towels to be put by the pool everyday at 10am (we got to the pool at 8am). If room at the front expect loud noise until late.  It does feel like they plonked a 5 star hotel in the middle of a building site.

Nice hotel but wouldn't return.

We had a drink at the roof top bar . Amazing signature cocktails and very friendly and nice staff especially Mariana was the best . We had a Mediterranean coctail one of the best coctail I had ever drink in my life . I definitely recommend this bar.

Booked a last minute stay to Cyprus and M Boutique was certainly the best hotel we could find for our budget. 

Hotel is lovely and staff are extremely friendly, everything you need for an easy and quick get away however there are a few things that need to be considered before staying here, one which I did notice on the photos before arriving (sun light).

The building grounds are extremely nice and pleasant to be around but it does feel like they have put this hotel in the middle of busy area/ building site with the derelict building over the road. I would expect a hotel like this to possibly be located by the sea front away from a main road. The hotel is extremely aesthetic to look at however I do feel the design of the hotel partly hinders the experience. The main building block blocks the sunlight during the day, from around 3/4pm (September) onwards for the front row of sun-beds meaning people were frequently swapping to catch as much sun as they can - moving to the beanbags if needed. If you were early enough, you could catch a sun-bed at 8 AM on the back row resulting longer amounts of sun. There is a strict, no leaving items on sun-beds policy longer than 30 minutes, due to this we found ourselves being one of the first ones/ if not first by the pool each day around 8AM to get our sun-beds to make the most of the limited sun we had. The sun-beds themselves were extremely comfortable, pool was cool but exactly what we needed after the heat. 

We booked a room with a balcony which we were disappointed to be given the lower level room by the next doors car park out the back. After speaking with reception, they kindly followed up and provided us with a few alternative rooms which would be available the next day. We were very pleased with the option to move as we were then provided with a room over looking the pool which was extremely nice - thank you for this M Boutique! Baring this in mind, there are multiple rooms that get very little sunlight if any including the rooms with pools so it might be worth checking when booking what’s available. With this, the hotel was tidy and clean. Had British plug sockets, molten brown toiletries and a Marshall speaker - inside the room was great! 

Noise is an issue at the hotel, there is a bar over the road which plays loud music till the early hours a few days a week. I overheard a few people mention this while around the pool, I can imagine it being a headache for the hotel staff considering it’s not their fault. Dependant on which block you are in, you may be affected but you also may not.

Facilities were great. Hotel bar was lovely. Open air, busy and good selection of drinks at a reasonable price (went up there once). GYM was extremely modern and cool to be in, not loads of equipment but all the core bits you need to get the job done - probably the best hotel gym I’ve been too. Breakfast was expensive at 30 euros per person so we stayed clear. 

We wanted to do this holiday on a budget where possible so frequently popped over to the local supermarket around the corner several times a day for sandwich, drink and water. This was extremely handy and means we haven’t come away from this break feeling like we have broken the bank for a quick getaway. 

The hotel is however located near the harbour, where you can swim if you wish, it is not sandy around the area. The restaurants were fine with one extremely nice one called The Loft. If you wanted to venture into the Old Town, it was a 15 euro taxi each way. We walked this instead one evening (45 min), the place was very quiet when we got there which not much going on. Grabbed a gyros and walked back to the hotel.

Overall, if you fancy an easy get away, I would recommend the hotel. 25 min from the airport, good weather but do bear in mind the noise and the limited sun light.
