This hotel is situated directly on the beach (around 200 m away) and in the middle of the tourist district of Paphos. There are countless shops, bars, nightclubs, taverns and restaurants to be found in the immediate vicinity. Kato Paphos is around 3 km away and Paphos, with its harbour, is 4 km from the hotel. Links to the public transport network are located directly in front of the hotel.
Last renovated in 2020, this hotel comprises of 422 rooms. The facilities include a 24-hour reception and 6 lifts. There is also a café, a shop, a bar, a nightclub, a games room, a TV room, an air-conditioned restaurant with a non-smoking area, free wi-fi connection and car hire. There is also a car park as well as a children's playground. A kids' club for those aged from 3 to 12 years of age is also available. The rooms come with a bathroom with hairdryer. In addition, there is a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a mini-fridge, tea & coffee making facilities, free pool/beach towels, air conditioning, a hire safe, central heating and a balcony or terrace.
Guests will find a swimming pool, a children's paddling area as well as a snack bar, a terrace with parasols and sun loungers. Leisure facilities also include an indoor swimming pool, a Jacuzzi, a steam room, a sauna, 2 tennis courts and a gym. Sport enthusiasts may play a game or table tennis, basketball, beach volleyball, darts, bocce or badminton. For an additional fee, guests may take advantage of the billiards/ snooker, green bowls, cards room for bridge players and massage service. On the beach, guests are offered sun loungers, parasols, windsurfing, canoeing and pedalos may also be tried out. An entertainment programme rounds off the diverse range of leisure offers. The hotel has a water park which is free for hotel guests only, and operates from first May—till End October. It includes 2 outdoor swimming pools, 2 outdoor kids pools, one of which has splash pool and accommodate 8 waters games.

An honest review
An honest review from someone who loves the Phaethon. I've visited a few times, I've lost count - but at least 8 occasions between the ages of 5 and 33!
Good points:
- The food. There's something for everyone to eat. I have some intolerances but found there was ample to eat at every meal - although not on the dessert station, as everything contains milk apart from fruit(!) - but the fruit is fresh and tastes so much better than what we get at home.
- The activities. Plenty to do for adults and kids, although some of the adults are REALLY competitive 😂
- The staff. Everyone is friendly and helpful, a few members go the extra mile.
- Interconnecting rooms.
- Cats 😅
- Being under a flight path, if you like planes! (Which my kids do so it was great)
- Bus stop right near the hotel
- There are two kids clubs, one for TUI guests only and one for all
- Laundry room!
Bad points:
- The rooms are small. We have three children so have to book two rooms, which is a good amount of space (bonus: two bathrooms!) but I don't know how we squeezed four into a room when I was a child, as they aren't big. Obviously this can't be changed but worth noting if you are a family who requires space.
- Lack of dairy free dessert options
- When we went in April 2026, the email confirmation started Aircon would be available in the rooms. It wasn't. Apparently it isn't switched on until May, which wouldn't have been so much of an issue if we'd not been misinformed. My parents were with us and were given a fan for their room, but I can't sleep with a fan on.
- Cats, if you don't like cats.
- Being under a flight path if you don't like planes.
- The entertainment isn't what is used to be. The team are lovely and others think it's great, but I'm comparing it to what I experienced aged 5-18 (bingo, a hypnotist, performances of well known plays and musicals, we even put on shows with the kids club). The best night was the team vs guests challenge, which was absolutely hilarious.
- The Phaethon run kids club is basic compared to what it used to be.
My parents won't go back again. We probably will.

Just WoW!!! Lovely hotel and Great Staff
This hotel is Beautiful. We arrived around 10pm on 25th July 2026 and were told the buffet was open until midnight for us to get some food and a drink which was amazing to hear after a long day of travelling. The staff at this hotel are incredible and really make your holiday special. BIG shout out to Ahmed who is just the most beautiful soul and a credit to your hotel. The lifeguards are fantastic at their jobs and are so friendly and great with the kids. The front of house, cleaners, restaurant staff, bar staff, entertainment team just so friendly and work incredibly hard.
The pools are great, always a sun-bed available. Our daughter loved the slides and they are monitored very well by the lifeguards. I did also like how they kept inflatables to the main pool only. The hotel and surrounding areas are immaculate.
The food was lovely and always hot and kept covered. The chefs were really helpful and friendly. Ahmed kindly organised a special wedding anniversary meal for our last night and it really is those small touches that allow this hotel to stand out. There is a shop on site and also outside of the hotel about a 10 minute walk there is a larger supermarket for any souvenirs or just a nice walk. The harbour is Beautiful , I’d definitely recommend a visit at night
The only thing that I didn’t like was that there weren’t any smoking areas in place and you could literally smoke anywhere outside. I’ve never experienced this at a hotel resort before and being 3 months pregnant, I was so conscious and felt myself constantly having to move away from my sunbed, the pool side and outside entertainment. I did see a lot of disgruntled people around the pool unhappy with smoke being blown near them and their children whilst trying to relax. But I also wouldn’t want this to be the only reason ppl don’t book this hotel. I just wanted to make non smokers, ppl in early stages of pregnancy aware and maybe it would be good to introduce smoking areas over time around the hotel. The hotel overall was amazing and we want to thank Louis Patheon for the most special holiday.

Amazing holiday, family of 4 with Teenage Boys
We are fresh off the plane from an amazing trip to Louis Phaethon Beach. Usually I’m not one for busier resorts but this place has got it just right!!
Rooms Very clean with everything you need. I requested rooms next to each other as me and my husband were travelling with our 13 and 16 year olds. Our rooms were on the second floor overlooking the terrace. The aircon was fantastic and the view was beautiful. You could hear the music on the terrace but this ended at 11pm. The room was cleaned daily and topped up with fresh towels, water, tea and coffee.
Tip: plug sockets are UK 3 pin plugs…no need for adapters, no USB points in the room so bring your usual plugs.
I have read reviews saying the rooms are small but for us they were perfect for the amount of time we spent in them.
Location What else could you ask for? Right on the beach: steps into the sea…bring water shoes as this bit is a bit rocky. You can walk up to one of the best beaches in Paphos or just walk down the steps straight into the sea…bring your snorkel.
Harbour: jump straight on the 611 bus to the harbour. Busses are air conditioned and run regularly. €2 per adult €1 per child. Taxi back from the harbour cost €15. This took about 15minutes.
Waterpark: Aphrodite waterpark is a 7 min walk from the hotel, worth a visit especially with older kids.
Pools
2 amazing outside pools. Waterside pool is Perfect for more of a chilled day, no inflatables (lilos etc) are allowed in this pool. This some fountains and an in poor seat around some of the edges with little jets giving you a little jacuzzi feel.
Waterslides are good fun, no big queues and enjoyed by all ages.
There was also a large splash area (we didn’t use this but amazing for little ones)
The busier pool was our favourite and we looked forward to the daily activities put on by the entertainment team..what a great bunch, they work hard, engage with everyone and do an amazing job!! Poolside quizzes, water polo, Zumba and other activities were a highlight. Activities run in the morning about 11am and then resumed at 3pm which was perfect…we always looked forward to the afternoon activities. Poolside music played throughout the day, this wasn’t overbearing and added to the positive atmosphere.
There were also other activities such as football, darts, volleyball, shuffleboard etc the took place in the afternoons.
Although we didn’t have young children with us, I noticed how so much thought had gone into amenities for children, shaded park areas, shaded baby pool, plenty of parasols etc.
Sunbeds-There are so many and plenty of parasols or shade. yes you can get up at 6am and save your favourite spot but also you will find a Sunbed if you don’t do this!! We went to the waterpark and come back at 1pm, we still easily got 4 sunbeds!!
Food and drink THE BEST ALL INCLUSIVE FOOD! This place is our number 1 to date!! Daytime -we only ate at the pool but you have the option to eat in the restaurant … the Chinese buffet was YUM!! You also had the choice of chips, pasta, sausages, nuggets, rolls etc. choices changed slightly daily but plenty of choice.
Pancakes and waffles were served on rotation daily at 4pm which were always popular.
Help yourself to as much ice cream as you would like too!!
Pool bar was never too busy, you can help yourself to as much soda (Pepsi,7up etc) or water as you want. Go to the bar for all your alcohol drinks. Premium brands and great cocktails!!
Dinner- there is so much choice!! There is always a roasted meat- lamb, chicken, gammon, pork, beef-these rotate daily. With a range of vegetables, potatoes, gravy available.
Alongside this you have themed nights, most of what I tried was delicious!! Lamb curry, sword fish, carbonara, fajitas.
Pizza station served a variety gorgeous stone baked pizza.
Kids corner- nuggets, sausages, chips, pasta etc
Cheese counter was lovely
Salad- was amazing, so many options!!
Bread was always fresh and plenty of variety to choose from.
There is too much to mention but this is the first time when travelling with a fussy eater that his plate has come but with a variety of foods and his enjoyed ever bit of it.
I haven’t mentioned breakfast yet but again plenty of choice and delicious food.
Entertainment- the entertainment team are fantastic!! This team work extremely hard and go out there way to make everyone feel welcome. Daytime activities were always engaging..loved the water polo ents vs guests.
Evening shows were fantastic, well organised by Jamie. To mention an few, Alex does a fantastic MJ tribute, Lindon is a great singer and entertainer. All the dancers are fantastic. They always came and spoke with guests after the show, Amy is a little star in the making!
White party was our fav…another night like this during the week would be amazing!!
If you didn’t want to watch the shows, the terrace was always a nice place to sit of an evening, there was usually a musician.
Staff - we were always greeted by the most friendly faces!! Ahmed at the restaurant..lovely man and very helpful. Lobby bar..best barmaid ever!! Olimpia, Fhil, Hanny, mustafa to name a few were fantastic at keeping your drinks topped up in the evening.
Anything I would change? Air con around the table tennis…it gets hot down there!!
Pool table- adding some pool tables would be amazing.
More nights like the white party-so much fun, we want more.

We’ve just come home from the most wonderful stay at Louis Phaethon Beach Hotel in Paphos, and we’re already missing every moment. From the moment we arrived, every member of staff made us feel so welcome and truly cared for, nothing was too much trouble.
Our room was bright, spacious, spotlessly clean, and had the most amazing view, stepping out onto the balcony each morning was pure joy.
The location was great, right by the beach, with easy access to everything and such a lovely setting all around us.
The atmosphere throughout the whole hotel was absolutely incredible, warm, welcoming and full of happiness from morning until night. It felt like one big, happy family, and it made every single day feel so special.
If we had to pick one thing that made this holiday truly unforgettable, it was the entertainment team. From the minute we arrived, their energy was infectious, always smiling, always saying hello, and going above and beyond to make every single guest feel special. They put their whole hearts into every activity and every show, so much talent, laughter and enthusiasm. Whether we joined in or just sat back and watched, they made us feel part of the fun. The kids were captivated, and even we couldn’t help but smile from ear to ear! They don’t just do a job, they create magic moments that stay with you long after you’ve packed your bags. Thank you team, you really are the heartbeat of this hotel.
And it was amazing value for money. With everything included, beautiful pools, fantastic waterpark, delicious food with so much variety, endless entertainment and such high standards everywhere , it far exceeded what we expected for the price.
Everything is kept immaculately, the food is fresh and delicious, and that wonderful location just adds to the whole experience. But it’s the atmosphere, the entertainment team and those special little touches that make Louis Phaethon feel like home.
It’s our second visit and it absolutely won’t be our last. Thank you for the most beautiful family holiday we could have wished for. 💙🌊✨
Great hotel
Been coming away now for several years since having kids and have to say this has been the best holiday especially for the kids. Entertainment team are great and very engaging with the kids. The tui kids club was great and again very accommodating with my children. Good in the restaurant was great this is usually a stressful time for us as one of our daughters is autistic and can’t cope with the noise however there was plenty of tables outside and not that we had to but the staff would have made sure there was table available everyday. No great rush for sun loungers I was getting up at 6 for morning run and was usually the first one down and when we came back from breakfast at 9 there was still beds available. My only downside for the hotel would be the size of the room and parts off it were due an upgrade and looking slightly tired
