What a fantastic two weeks. Great hospitality supported by some special staff. Many thanks to all the staff with special mentions to Elena (that smiley face), Ashish, Pralhad and Jonathan for looking after us keeping our glasses full. Thanks all see you in June 2027
This is a large hotel and very busy , they cater for wedding parties, bachelor/hen partìes, golf parties. It's very noisy during the day around the pool area, it's difficult to find a quiet place. The beach area is poor and the beach small and difficult to get in and out of the water. The jet skips come too close for comfort. The food is good , the rooms are average but the side view rooms are poor and on one side noisy and smell.from the kitchens of the sister hotel next door.
This is our third and final to this Hotel, having visited on 2 previous occasions we agree with previous posts that the standards have dropped dramatically. We have (as on previous visits) paid a lot of money for the Deluxe package but on this visit received terrible assistance from the Hotels guests relations staff. My Sister who lives in Cyprus came to stay for a couple of nights and they wouldn’t even accommodate us to dine in an A La Carte restaurant as a foursome. The hotel looks in need of a good spruce up, dirty sunbeds, old towels etc… There are large groups of overly loud golfers here who have zero respect for other holiday makers. The standard of food has dropped and the entertainment has thus far been dire. Our room is smaller than on previous visits and sea view obscured by a huge concrete wall. The lovely Deluxe lounge and staff are a welcome break from the hectic pool area, in fact I think I’ll lock myself in there for the last few days of my holiday!!! Theo and Kevin the nightclub staff, Maria the towel lady and the Aqua Aerobics instructor deserve praise for making the visit slightly better, take me back to Lanzarote, Never Again!!!
Our stay at the Leonardo Plaza Cypria Maris Beach Hotel & Spa in Paphos was thoroughly enjoyable. The setting is superb — right on the beachfront, with easy access to the coastal path and beautiful sea views throughout the resort. The staff were exceptional throughout our visit: warm, attentive, and consistently willing to go the extra mile. Booking the premium package proved well worth it, with an excellent range of deluxe drinks and a noticeably elevated level of service. The dining options were another highlight, offering genuine variety and consistently high quality across the restaurants. A few areas could be refined. We noticed a degree of road noise even on the 5th floor, which was unexpected given the height, and some additional soundproofing would be a welcome improvement. It would also be considerably more convenient if an iron and ironing board were provided directly in-room, rather than guests needing to use the shared facility on the 1st floor, which felt somewhat lacking. Lastly, the pillows fell slightly short of the comfort standard set by the rest of the room and could benefit from an upgrade. These, however, were minor considerations set against an otherwise excellent stay. The exceptional location, attentive staff, and superb food comfortably outweighed the small shortcomings, and we would return without hesitation.
Location- the hotel location was not as advertised the walk was 45 minutes to the centre not much around the hotel as stated. Atmosphere- more like an expensive Benidorm not a relaxing hotel best way to explain. Rooms- nothing like the photos on the websites , if you go premium they are better if not terrible the beds are so uncomfortable , the air conditioning can never have been cleaned was disgusting we complained and nothing got done, also the balcony had no view with cheap garden chairs and never able to get any sleep with music blasting until 12am. Service- not the best service we complained 2 nights about the loud music and made to feel like inconvenience, but finally got moved to another room on the last night so we could sleep for the airport, also if you have yellow wristband you get treated as if your not important to premium guests. They give premium guests better privileges such as reserving sunbeds by pre booking the day before then tags are put on the beds so was hard to notice because we didn’t get informed the first day , so it was hard to get one and you had to pay more to get better drinks knowing you pay for all inclusive. Value- for the price that we paid everyone should get premium service (30 euro per day for premium per person) Not worth the money at all definitely wouldn’t be returning.
