We stayed here in September between 16th & 23rd as a family of four The hotel its self is clean and the staff work mega hard everyday to keep it clean especially the room cleaners. I see the pool being cleaned every morning with a pool hoover and net ( although they do this everyday, the tiles in the pool need a good clean)
My children loved the swimming pool & the pirate ship. If you want a front row bed you need to be up between 6&7 am as they fill up quickly. There was always several lifeguards on duty. The Sunbeds are very dirty and could do with either being cleaned or new ones bought in ( i never see the sunbeds being cleaned once) they have marks/stains all over them
The food in the resteraunt is very basic especially at dinner time and very repetitive. As a family we did not enjoy dinner times, and went out to eat a few times. The breakfast was good and snack bar was great for kids but again also very repetitive offering the same foods everyday.
The bar staff- the bar staff was amazing, such a pleasure to speak with & remembering your orders. They was always very polite and we had a great laugh with them
The entertainment team was absolutely fabulous with the kids. They work throughout the day offering a range of different activities for adults & children and was great at getting you involved. Every night at 815 there was a mini disco followed by evening entertainment, bingo & quizzes. We see a great comedy magic show and a great fire & acrobatic show. The only thing that I found odd was some nights the evening entertainment was outside in a tiny seating area and there was not enough room for everyone. Other nights it was in the ballroom which had much more space and a proper staged area.
Our room - we stayed in a family room overlooking the pool and the room was beautiful and very modern and kept very clean.
There is one major thing that let's this hotel down and its the non English guests they are so so rude towards English people. Every evening me and my family was being cut dirty looks, being laughed at, they push in front of your during meal times and pick food up using there hands, push infront of you at the bar to get drinks. These guests are unfortunately favoured by the hotel staff and get better treatment then the English guests. For this reason we would never return to the hotel. In my opinion the hotel is not a 4* and more likely a 3*. This is due to the food mainly and some other areas of the hotel.
Also I would not recommend using the hotels own taxi service. We requested a taxi to Coral Bay which is around 25 minutes away they wanted to charge us 45 euros which i think is crazy. Download the bolt app we got a taxi to coral bay for 21 euros which was much more acceptable.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Leonardo Cypria Bay Hotel in Paphos and would definitely recommend it to others. Overall, we found it to be a very nice 4-star hotel with good facilities, friendly staff and a great location.
The food was one of the highlights of our stay. The buffet offered a very good selection and we found plenty of choices throughout our stay. The snack bar was also excellent, with a decent variety of food that was easily accessible from the pool, which was particularly convenient when spending the day relaxing by the water.
The vast majority of the staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately, there was one exception — the male night receptionist. Some family friends travelling with us had their flight delayed by two days, which resulted in their original hotel booking being cancelled. When they arrived, they tried to explain that their flight had been cancelled and subsequently re-booked, but the night receptionist refused to properly listen to the circumstances and did not appear particularly interested in helping them resolve the situation. We appreciate that the cancellation may have caused complications outside of the hotel’s control, but the manner in which the situation was dealt with was disappointing and lacked the level of customer service we experienced from the rest of the staff.
The hotel facilities were very good. The gym is relatively basic but has more than enough equipment for a decent holiday workout, which was all we really needed.
We also had an upgraded room with a side sea view. The room was a good size and provided plenty of space for myself, my wife and our 10-year-old child. Our room was situated on the corner, so the balcony wasn’t particularly large. However, we actually preferred having the larger room rather than a bigger balcony, as we barely used the balcony apart from drying clothes, so this wasn’t an issue for us.
The location is another major positive. The hotel is situated directly on the seafront, with a lovely coastal path running along the front. The path takes you towards Paphos Harbour, which is around a 40-minute walk, making it a great way to explore the area. The Aphrodite Waterpark is also only around a 15-minute walk from the hotel, which was very convenient for us.
Overall, we had a great stay at the Leonardo Cypria Bay. Aside from the unfortunate experience with the night receptionist, the staff were friendly, the food was good, the facilities were excellent and the location was ideal for exploring Paphos.
We would happily recommend the hotel and would definitely consider staying here again.

Great spa experience... relaxed to the point I almost fell asleep thats how relaxing it was and came out untense and calm from my massage. Highly recommend. Sandra was the masseuse on the day.
