From start to finish the service was excellent I feel fully refreshed I would totally recommend this spa to my family and friends I will have no hesitation coming back at all .

We stayed here in July as a family. First time in Cyprus. The TLDR version is; Beautiful, proper 4* but there is no escaping the awful droning bass heavy music the entertainment team play around the pool. It spoils an otherwise perfect hotel.

First impression was really really good, the lobby is all marble, piano and good seating. You are helped from the transport to the reception, and then there's some paperwork to fill out. Apparently you can do this I'm advance but no one told us that. The hotel is kind of U shaped, and there are rooms above the lobby, 6 floors I think? However there are only two lifts, so its quite slow. We were on the lower ground floor, so took a nice route through exploring getting out bearings before going to our room - a swim up room. The room itself is beautiful, a kingsize bed, and a double sofa bed. But its not your standard crappy spfabed, this one has a proper metal frame and is sturdy. The sofa bed was my main concern before booking, as its a lot of money for someome to sleep on something that isn't a proper bed, but it is comfy for the kids. There's a nice wood laminated floor, modern decor, and a really nice wetroom bathroom. Its a huge step up from a Greek 4* for sure. The swim up pool is heated to about 35 degrees centigrade which is really nice, so many hotels just leave them unheated. However, if we hadn't booked the swim up room I would have been disappointed as there is only one main pool, it's busy, and its very very hard to get a sun lounger. It is a little weird in that a lot of the sun loungers are all set to face our swim up pool, makes us feel a bit like were being watched all the time - really not sure why they're not facing the sea, since the view is excellent. There is no beach at this hotel, its just rocky scrubland between the path at the end of the hotel and the sea. The neighbouring hotels have a beach and sun loungers on their sand, so you have to walk a bit to get to the public beach areas. In July, when its very hot (35 degrees and a lot of humidity) that is a hard slog, but do-able.

The food. The hotel has a main buffet restaurant and three bookable ala carte restaurants as well, a Greek food one, an Asian one and an American. We didn't bother with the American one as it appeared to be just chips, burgers and pizza which are in the buffet every day anyway, but we did book the other two. The Asian one is mostly Japanese, which whilst I enjoyed, the rest of the family did not. The Greek one was excellent, and we all liked that one a lot. I think you get one free go at each per booking, but we didn't bother enquiring further because the buffet was absolutely top notch. I personally am a bit of a snob about buffet food and tend to look down on it, but here is a place where to the is truely excellent. You can see the cooks making the food as you pick, there's no warmed up microwave rubbish here, the pizza, the omlettea, the daily specials where top tier restaurant grade which genuinly shocked me. They also clearly labeled all their food along with allergy keys/markers showing what gas gluten, diary/milk and wheat and so on; which is something I really liked to see and wish a lot more hotels did this.

Now, the negatives and it is a massive one. I mentioned before there is only one main pool , well there is also a pirate ship for the kids, and a toddler pool. However, the toddler pool is completly unusable most of the day if you care about your child's health. The entertainment team have a single massive speaker pointed directly at the toddler pool playing incredibly loud club music ALL DAY LONG. I measured it using my phone, which I know isn't the most accurate, but it said it was 95 decibels. That will cause permenant hearing damage in children. What is worse is that is anyone turns the volume down, someone from the entertainment goes back to turn it up higher and higher through out the day. Nor is it anything relaxing, just bass heavy club music that I'd expect from a 18-30's nightclub. You can't escape it by moving to a sun loungers either as they have it pumped out speakers all around the area, at Max volume. It's absolutly awful. Even from within our room, with the doors shut, the bass is set so high we can hear it thumping through the walls throughout the day. Thankfully. For the evening entertainment they move it over to the beach bar, where it belomgs. I don't know why they won't just set it up there for the daytime, instead of blasting loud music at small children.

Its such a shame as it massively let's down what is otherwise an amazing resort
