hi,some things very good, but some not so, very clean everywhere staff nice, pool good rooms good but dated, food good and bad, same with entertainment
Our stay got off to a very poor start, didn't think it could get any worse! We were given a room looking directly to the hotel kitchen with multiple extractor fans creating an unpleasant view. The room was dark and dingy, even with the curtains and shutters open. Thus did not meet the standard we expected for a 4 star hotel. Food - we upgraded to AI very big mistake! The food was cold, low quality and not what you would expect in a 4 star hotel. The dessert selection was especially disappointing there were 4 cakes available on the self service tables, not cut. The utensils didn't appear to be cleaned and covered in food. The fresh food bowls looked appealing but that was the only positive. Oh there was also either jelly or some type of trifle with rich tea biscuits on! Staff - Some staff were fine unfortunately a few were very rude. Especially Manek who works in the bar area. Cleaning - We had to ask for our bin to be emptied as day 3 and never emptied alsothe towels had a strange smell, I left them in the bath and they were changed. Would we return to this hotel? Never.
This hotel is a gem. We stayed at the back end of September and arrived in the early hours, met with a warm welcome at reception and taken to our room by buggy. In the room was complimentary water, wine and fruit bowl - a nice touch.
The rooms are clean and spacious, we had a one bed apartment with the most amazing sea view room seeing beautiful sun rise and set. Everything is clean and well equipped, with toaster, kettle, hot plate/oven, coffee machine and fridge. The room came with air con at no additional charge. The beds were super comfy, plenty of storage space and great power shower. The housekeeping are friendly and do a great job. My only gripe is they come very early 9am ish but you can ask them to come later or put a do not disturb sign out. Also the gardener came one day at 7am and he was strimming the grass. Luckily we was already up. The hotel has a large, well maintained pool and snack bar and plenty of entertainment in the day, aquaarobics, water volley ball, darts, music is also played throughout the day. The food at the snack bar is good, it was a pity there was no breakfast options on the menu though. It was at times, if busy difficult to get served with food or to get the bill, I'm not sure if more staff are needed to serve or if they just need to be a bit more attentive if people are waiting for service. But they all had a friendly face and were very polite.
We only stayed bed & breakfast, there is an option to upgrade up to all inclusive if you prefer. The breakfast is buffet style, with many different choices for your need, from cereal to yoghurt, meats and cheese, hot breakfasts, toasts and bread. Just to note, the bacon seemed to be a processed turkey bacon and the sausages were like canned hot dog sausages but beef. But there is plenty to choose from from the selections.
The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from where the bars and restaurants and bus stops are. Also the hotel is on the beach, it looked virtually impossible to take a swim at the beach due to the rocks and strong waves but it does have a small beach area.
All in all this is a lovely hotel and would come back if we wanted a quieter and laid back holiday.
We got married on 24th September on the Devine Breeze Terrace which was arranged by the amazing Elena. Leading up to the wedding Elena was amazing, nothing was too much trouble and we were so impressed with her making our day so perfect and magical. The terrace was stunning and all of our 46 guests loved it and had a fantastic time. The BBQ was beautiful and so much food!
The hotel was amazing too, our limited sea view room was stunning.
We booked bed and breakfast as we like to eat out but often came back to the hotel for drinks in the evening. The staff were brilliant and worked so hard especially Manik, what an amazing waiter. The entertainment staff were also so good, loved the bingo and also the singers that entertained us.
Never a problem getting a sunbed either!
All in all what a great two weeks we had and couldn't have asked for a better wedding day

What is there not to like about Kefalos Beach Village? The hotel sits right on the beach and is only a short walk from the main street, which is full of restaurants and shops. Despite having evening entertainment on site, the noise levels were surprisingly low — I found the evenings very quiet and peaceful. I also noticed security staff walking the grounds late at night, which made me feel completely safe. The only issue I had was with the sofa bed that was set up for me. It was extremely hard, and with an 11-day stay ahead I knew I couldn’t sleep on it. I spoke to reception the next morning and they promptly delivered a proper bed to my room — problem solved. The staff here are excellent and very polite. Olga, who cleaned my apartment, was particularly impressive with her attention to detail. Another Olga works in the onsite shop and is always cheerful and pleasant. The shop itself is reasonably priced for any last-minute essentials. Overall, a lovely stay in a great location with friendly staff who go the extra mile.
