Clean rooms good pool, friendly, attentive bar staff, can't fault it will book again next year, good mixed crowd, very relaxed and nice atmosphere about the place, food is good value and freshly cooked, thank you to all the staff for a great stay.😀
The apartments are a short walk from restaurants, shops and bars. Spotlessly clean, with everything we need, staff are all very friendly and helpful, Lovely pool with plenty of beds. Air conditioning in the room and a shady balcony help with the heat.
Little disappointed on our arrival as we were put into a studio room which was very disappointing, we told the night porter as we had booked a one bed apartment. We went out immediately for food, by the time we arrived back the night porter had corrected the mistake moved our bags to our new room, which we was happy with. The staff here are so lovely nothing is too much for them to do. Very friendly hotel and people staying there were just as friendly, if you went on your own, you would not be for long. Very basic hotel, breakfast very limited but was worth what we paid. Thank you to the staff for making us welcome
Rooms are clean, little dated ,but spacious, air conditioning in room needs to be looked at, while I was there I developed a bad cough, due to the air conditioning unit it was leaking and left residue on the wall,if you have little children with you there is nothing at the apartments for them only the pool, luckily we had fantastic weather,so it kept the little one occupied during the day at night there is nothing going on in the bar area the apartments are in a good area to local restaurants bus station is a stone throw away, which wr used a lot ... I found the staff quite rude at times, the manager said if we needed a room at the end of the holiday we would have to pay for 3 rooms, as there was 6 of us on the booking,we refused and said we only needed one, for my disabled great grandson, as he might need a nap, however the woman manager only charged us for 1 room,I have visited Cyprus many times, first time in Paphos,I don't think I would return, certainly not to these apartments,it needs to improve, I prefer,Protaras and Larnaca Catherine Constantinou
We’ve just returned from a week’s self catering at the Kefalonitis and to be honest I can’t see what other people rate about it! It’s basic that’s for sure and if you’re expecting a three star then lower your expectations.
Rooms are a good size and upon first inspection it’s looks clean but once you’ve been there a few days you start to notice things… the kitchen is basic and just about has everything you need. Could do with updating and replacing some of the pans and utensils. The room was dirty in some areas and things were not moved out the way to clean which was very visible (under the beds) and shower room. Air con was good but it was leaking and had left mould on the walls Like all comments it’s dated and smells old. The towels had seen better days and barely cover you but it’s the same in most places. The sheets were clean but again could definitely do with replacing. They clean every other day which is no issue.
We didn’t eat at the complex but the food from the bar did look good and was good portions. The bar area was ok but like everyone has said the whole place needs a refresher and revamped as it’s very dated for what is now on other at some other places in the area. Didn’t really interact with staff (Lily was lovely in the bar) but it would have been nice to have a welcome pack or some information on the room and what’s on offer and general information about the complex.
The pool area was the only decent thing about this place and we did use it daily as at this time of year was stifling hot!! And very humid!! Sunbeds available and no rush to get towels down which was good. The toilet area is a hazard and be careful as you have you go down a set of stairs which are very slippery it’s dark and dingy and the floors are soaking wet!
They have a rule where You can’t eat or drink anything around the pool unless it’s been brought in the bar which I felt was a little harsh as your self catering so may not always want to full on meal!
There is nothing entertainment wise at the complex which didn’t bother us so much as we went out most nights but not much for young or teenagers to do. Pool table and shuttle disk game but that’s it. They have a sitting area inside the reception but no-one sits there as it too hot (they don’t put the air con on) and the bar in there is just for display.
We read they had an inside pool and gym but this was not available and looked like it hadn’t been opened for some time. They said it wasn’t viable anymore?
Area is good and location is great for getting about and doing some sightseeing. Bars and restaurants all down the strip and harbour a little walk away. Bus station is easy to use and buses take cash.
We met some lovely people and all friendly… however this place was seen as somewhere for the older generation that like a quiet no fuss holiday. For what we paid it was ok but will not book again.
