Elysia Park

Absolutely lovely! It was the perfect apartment which everything nearby a pharmacy, a small shop. Swimming pool, playing area for the kids. Bouncy castle of Saturdays. Staff were really helpful and friendly. We enjoyed breakfast on the first day but the rest we were out for most of the days but found it nice to come back to this apartment. Security very vigilant as well, children were running and he came to advise us to be careful as it is slippery.

From arrival, the staff were amazing. We received a complimentary upgrade and were given a detailed overview of the hotel, nearby attractions, Wi-Fi and food delivery apps available in Cyprus, which was especially helpful as we arrived late at night.

Our apartment was clean, spacious and ideal for a longer stay, with a fully equipped kitchen, large fridge freezer, oven, hob, microwave, kettle, washing machine with detergent, coffee machine with pods, and all the necessary crockery and cutlery. There was also a decent-sized balcony and a Smart TV, which is quite rare in hotels.

The bathroom and shower were good, although housekeeping only cleans the room every three days. This meant the toilet bin could get quite full as toilet paper cannot be flushed. I completely understand the reason for less frequent cleaning, but it would be great if the bins could perhaps be emptied daily.

The hotel has two identical pool areas, both clean, warm and, most importantly, very quiet. We never struggled to get a sunbed, and most of the time the pools were practically empty. The spa, gym and indoor pool were also well maintained and very quiet. The hotel gym isn't the best for weightlifting, but there is another gym just a minute away that costs around €7.

The location is good, with a pharmacy and shop practically attached to the complex. The beach and main restaurants are around a 25-minute walk away, which isn't too bad, although the midday heat can make it a little intense! Reception are more than happy to arrange taxis if needed. You can also book various excursions through the hotel. There is also security on-site throughout the night, which was reassuring and made us feel very safe during our stay.

During our stay, we also got engaged! The hotel kindly left a gift in our room to congratulate us, which was such a lovely and unexpected touch.

We did eat at Elysia Breeze, the restaurant on the complex, but unfortunately found the staff quite rude and the food expensive for the quality. I believe the restaurant is independently operated, but it's worth mentioning for anyone staying here.

We also had a very late flight home, so the hotel kindly gave us access to a courtesy room for a couple of hours, allowing us to shower and charge our phones before the long journey. They also stored our luggage, meaning we could enjoy our final day without worrying about our bags. Overall, we would 100% return to Elysia Park.

The staff genuinely went above and beyond for us throughout our stay, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience.
