Centrally located Kefalos Damon is definitely your laid back haven, the new look of our Cyprus Hotel Apartment with the recent renovations and extra additions will enhance your holiday experience. The apartments at the Kefalos Damon are clustered around a complete courtyard area with 3 swimming pools, 3 wide sun terraces, kids club, sauna and massage room, mini market, restaurants, pool bar, and lobby bar. As an advantage of being our guest, you have the privilege of using the facilities and amenities of our sister hotel Kefalos Beach Tourist Village, located only 500 meters away from us and right on the beach. Facilities such as the pool area, the sun beds, the beach, the gym, the lobby area and Wifi in the public areas are free. All the food and beverage outlets at our sister hotel can be used and charges are applicable as per the menus.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We booked very last minute for a cheap and cheerful week in the Sun, and at a time when even basic holidays are expensive we say Damon Apartments on our list. 3* hotel all inclusive package and cheap, we assumed it would be crap but decided to read the reviews. There were so many and in date order so people were reviewing immediately after the holiday and all so positive, but also honest. I'm writing with a couple of days still to go as I want to help this little gem as much as I can. The Staff are lovely and you get table service around the bar, yes a 3* where the staff ask you what you'd like to drink and there's a half decent list of cocktails for the all inclusive guests. The food is great, it's not a huge selection that compares to the larger hotels but as a chef I can tell the difference where the kitchen care about making each dish full of flavour. They often have some joints roasted and carved to order which is nice. Good selection of salads, and the cheesecake is amazing! The swimming pools, 3 decent size pools offering 3 separate experiences. The main pool by the bar is for fun and as a miserable git I didn't spend any time in that pool, but everyone there was really enjoying themselves. Then there is another quite large pool with it's own bar that was for the serious sun worshippers, as there was no shadow from the hotel buildings there. We preferred the smaller pool, that seemed to attract similar guests. The room was large with a comfy bed, even though we were all inclusive it came with a half decent kitchenette and balcony. There are some negatives that you should know about. Air con was never quite good enough, it works but with the size of the room it was having to work too hard to cool the room enough, if you complain hard enough I hear they'll find you a cooler room. The drinks are ok, house wine is drinkable as is the beer, The cocktails are interesting but they use squash in many of them which I can't stand. But I could talk with the barman and explain and he would make alterations to suit my taste. The spirits were all fine, no premium of course but you cant tell when it's mixed anyway. The food, I know I listed it as a positive but the lack of variety gets a bit boring so you might want to venture out and luckily the location is good for that, plenty of places to explore if you want to escape the monotony of all inclusive hotels. We'll be coming back
It was our 1st time in this hotel, been to paphos lots of times the staff in this hotel are so welcoming always smiling & happy to help. Room was clean & spacious and the food was good would stay again.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic stay – we would 100% come back! We’ve had such a lovely stay here and would 100% come back again. The hotel is lovely and honestly feels more like a 4-star than a 3-star. Our room was fantastic, the food has been really good and there’s been plenty of choice. The staff have honestly been the highlight. Everyone has been so friendly, welcoming and helpful, and it’s the little personal touches that really make this hotel special. The entertainment team have been fantastic with us and the boys. Pino especially made an effort from the very first day, showing us around. He even remembered the boys and would check where they were. It’s those little things that make such a difference and really show that they care. The entertainment itself has also been really good. The bar staff have also been fantastic. John was always friendly and remembered what we were drinking, and a special thank you to the other barman whose name I unfortunately can’t remember! He made me whatever cocktail I asked for and was always happy to make something different. The cocktails have been amazing! 🍹 Another huge special mention has to go to Jenny in the restaurant. Every evening she checked on our son, making sure he was okay and had everything he needed. she was so kind and would make sure he could have chicken nuggets and chips if needed. She went out of her way to make sure he was comfortable and had something he could manage,She went above and beyond, and as a mum, that kindness really meant a lot to me. ❤️ We also really loved the table service for drinks at lunch and dinner, which was such a lovely touch. The location is great too, with the harbour nearby and plenty to do. We’ve really enjoyed getting out and about during our stay. Overall, we’ve had a fantastic holiday. Lovely hotel, great food, amazing cocktails, brilliant entertainment and, most importantly, genuinely lovely staff who go above and beyond. Thank you to Pino, Danny, John, Jenny and all the team for making our holiday so special. We would absolutely come back! ❤️
When we arrived we were put on the third floor, we both have bad knees and are in our 60s , it was our mistake we didn’t know some of the building didn’t have lifts, but mr giannis was very helpful in moving us , thank you mr giannis and Sophia , when we come again next year we will remember to email you about our situation ,all the staff are so friendly and polite it’s a great hotel situation in an ideal area

Lovely welcome from the lovely receptionist (Angelina or angelica I think)
Negatives:
Hotel just looked really run down and old fashioned, stair case to room was like a grotty car park staircase, smelt really fousty
Pool was dirty, hubby and I jokingly wrote our names in the grime around the edges then thoroughly washed our hands
One of the women in the pool bar was really abrupt and unfriendly.
Food not nice at all
Room dated, couldn't see anything from balcony.
Wouldn't come back and usually I'm not very fussy.
