There's so much to see and do in Paphos. It's one of the essential places to stay in any holiday to Cyprus. And when you stay at the Constantinou Bros Athena Beach Hotel you'll have easy access to the beach, the harbour, the archaeological sites and the great shops too. But as well as all of that, you'll have the amenities of the hotel itself to enjoy and they really are worth writing home about.
For a start, there are three amazing freshwater pools to choose from (as well as an adults Pool, two paddling pools and a heated indoor pool (heated Nov - Apr).
The hotel's Elixir Spa is another highlight. At the Constantinou Bros Athena Beach Hotel every consideration is given to making your stay relaxing and invigorating and nothing invigorates quite like one of their massages – followed by a wonderfully relaxing aromatherapy treatment. (There are 2 waterslides too for those who fancy a different kind of invigorating experience.)
If you fancy a bit of sporty action, you can take your pick from mini golf to bowls to tennis or table tennis. Or you can work up quite an appetite in the hotel gym. It's particularly well-stocked so you can continue your customary exercise regime, or enjoy a bit of a light holiday work-out to burn off a few extra pudding calories! With such a great selection of places to eat, all in the hotel, you'll certainly want to take full advantage. From far Eastern cuisine to local favorites, from a la carte dining to four course meals and the Zephyr adults only a la carte, there’s a menu and a setting for everyone. From the cocktail bar, lounge bar (open to the discretion of Management) rooftop bar ( adult only for Elite class) to the beach bar and adults pool bar to room service, you can choose what, where and when you eat.
It's certainly hard to resist the idea of a little room service now and then, particularly when you return to your room after a busy day. All guests' rooms are spacious and air conditioned for your maximum comfort. And we really do recommend a little light supper or drinks on your private balcony. (Side and full sea view rooms are also available, affording excellent views out over the Mediterranean.)

Lovely hotel in a great location
Lovely hotel in a fantastic location.
Leaving the hotel from the rear leads you directly onto the coastal boardwalk and the seafront, whilst there is a bus stop outside the front if you need to go further afield
The room was a good size and the air conditioning was powerful enough to cope with the mid 30c temps outside
Half board was perfect for me, with a large dining area that is used for breakfast and dinner buffets - no queues and helpful, friendly staff
There was entertainment every evening, but there are a few places across the road if you want to carry on further into the night

Our first and certainly not our last time.
We are at the end of a fantastic holiday at this beautiful hotel. It was our first visit and certainly won't be our last. Only a couple of things we would have liked to see based on personal preference, we like music constantly around the pool, nothing crazy just background sound, which doesn't happen here unless there is a daily programme happening and a little more choice at the buffet would have been lovely, although what was on offer was very tasty and cooked very well, no dodgy tummy which at least one of us usually gets when we go away. Cannot wait to return!
You won’t be disappointed… quite the opposite actually!
I’d give 10 stars if I could… Athena beach hotel is an incredible place. We have visited now for 3 years in a row and are so excited to be arriving in a few days time for our 4th visit. We love the hotel so much we have even booked our wedding here for 2027. The attention to detail is incredible; from the entertainment to the food and even the staff. All the staff are excellent and excel the standards expected. A special mention to vangellios, Diana, mamood, Donna Katerina and Odile who has sadly now retired! These staff have made our trips truly memorable. Odile was incredible before she retired. When we got engaged here in 2024, she organised flowers from the grounds and special decorations to be placed on our table at the Adonis restaurant. We love the hotel and were introduced by my husband to be’s grandad. His grandad has visited over 25 times (3 with us and the rest with his late wife). We cannot put into words just how excited we are to return to paradise. We are returning with his grandad this time to celebrate him finishing his cancer treatment. The food is out of this world you’d think you were in a Michelin star restaurant. The whole hotel is pristine super tidy, clean and smells lovely. As stated before the staff really are a credit to the hotel and help make the stays extra special. We have visited several other hotels of a similar price and rating in various other country’s and each time we have we have questioned why Athena beach is not a 5 star hotel. It is easily the winner and is the only hotel/holiday we have visited multiple times. Again can’t wait to see all the friendly faces and truly relax in the next few days!

Brilliant
Amazing hotel. Absolutely faultless, very clean and tidy, all the staff are very happy, pleasant and helpful, the quality and choice of food is brilliant, bedrooms are very good, large comfortable beds, mini bar, tea and coffee. There are plenty of sun loungers and well spaced out, no need to save them. Beach is a bit rocky but has a jetty to make it easier to get out into the sea. Pleasant walk to Paphos along the sea front. Probably one of the best hotels we have stayed in and we have stayed in probably over 60 in the last 40 odd years. Highly recommend.
