This attractive apartment hotel is situated approximately 1 km from the beach. Nearby (within 600 m) are plenty of shopping opportunities as well as nightclubs, restaurants and bars. A public transport stop is also only a short walk away (around 600 m). Paphos airport lies some 35 km from the apartment hotel.
The 2-storey hotel comprises a total of 149 accommodation units. A lobby offers a 24-hour reception desk, safes and currency exchange desk. Dining options include a café, a bar, and a restaurant with highchairs for children. Moreover, there is a TV room, a small supermarket, a games room and public Internet access. Several conference rooms are available for business guests. Younger guests may participate in the kids' club activities and let off steam in the playground. Laundry and medical services round off the offerings, and guests arriving by car may use the hotel car park.
Each of the apartments and studios comes with combined bedroom/ lounge area and en suite bathroom with a hairdryer. Also included within the accommodation are a kitchenette with a fridge, a direct dial telephone, an Internet connection, central heating, air conditioning and a hire safe. The apartments additionally feature a separate bedroom.
In the grounds, guests will find a swimming pool and a poolside snack bar. Sun loungers and parasols are also laid out ready for use on the beach. There is a Jacuzzi and a sauna on offer to guests. Sports enthusiasts may like to play table tennis, billiards, beach volleyball, go diving or train out in the hotel's gym. An activity programme is organised for additional entertainment. The nearest golf course is about 10 km away.
Guests may select their breakfast and dinner from a buffet. Lunch and dinner may alternatively be taken à la carte. It is possible to book all-inclusive stays.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Just got back from a 10 night stay and we had a great time. The food was average some night it was great and others not so great. The snack bar is good especially for the kids they always have chicken nuggets. One thing about the kids food was they didn't have much of a choice every night it was nuggets pasta and pizza it never changed. My little girl had so much fun in the pool, I stayed for my wedding so there was 29 of us at the hotel and nearly everyday we had the volleyball pool to ourselves which was so fun for the little ones as it's not that deep. The rooms was decent however we traveled with a 1 year old and was put on the 2nd floor and had a buggy which was a A bit of a pain after a few days we ended up leaving it under the stairs. So if you don't want to climb the stairs with a buggy I would definitely advise to request a ground floor room. The hill to get the the strip is very steep and pretty hard to walk up in the heat during the day. The entertainment on a night definitely let the hotel down there was 1 lady doing this kids disco each night and I'd say she put 0 effort in to it. Overall the hotel it's self is great and the staff were so nice just a few little things that let it down. One thing that I was surprised at was when you asked for a new room key you just gave the number and they gave you it when you could be anyone. It's not like they checked a picture of you passport either as I got a room key for my nana and they didn't check anything!
We stayed at the Kapetanios hotel mid August for a week. Kids loved the slides and the lazy river they were amazing.
The beach is not really a beach it’s a bit stone when you first get in it but a couple of metres in no stones good for snorkelling we spent quite a long time in there.
The food in the restaurant was nice lots of dishes to choose from each night has a different theme. Generally have a chicken, lamb, pork, beef , fish and potato dish each evening. I found the lunch here better than the pool bar. Although the kids loved the nuggets and cheese and ham toasties.
The entertainment at night was mini disco the small kids loved that followed by bingo then something else they did a fire display on one night a guy walking over glass another night. I didn’t see any entertainment around the pool or anything during the day.
The rooms were nice they were clean and spacious and we had a nice view.
I would return and recommend.
Had a OK time at this hotel and it was great value for money. For what we paid in school holidays in August, the room, food and access to pools was really good but my reflection is that I’d spend a bit more next time. The resort is on a pretty bit of coastline but the pictures that show a beach are misleading as there is a bit of a building site feel between the end of the hotel and the “beach” which is not suitable for small children. If you are happy to stay around a pool then this won’t affect you. Lots of areas of the hotel are quite grubby and cleaning not great in communal areas. Lazy river not very clean and loungers/tables not cleaned after use at any point we were there. Rooms always kept clean, however. Entertainment was very basic (bingo and karaoke) but delivered by the entertainment staff who are lovely as were all the staff generally. Food was good in the main restaurant as we are pretty adventurous eaters - found the snack bar pretty grim so avoided this. Restaurant is small and menu repeats weekly, so a 2 week stay is a bit same-y. Wine and beer all good as were some of the cocktails. We didn’t have any problem with what was included in the AI as seemed fairly standard to us. Water was sometimes a bit tricky to come by near the waterpark bit so would advise taking a Yeti or similar. Location is ideal just a few mins walk to the main stop and lots of choice for dinner and drinks. Overall an average hotel but for the price point really good.
We had the best holiday at this hotel couldn’t rate it enough I’ve recommended it already to so many people, we will definitely be back Food- absolutely beautiful 10/10 food so fresh and some brilliant dishes in the evening, lunch time food is all freshly cooked infront of you pool side or food in the restaurant & breakfast was great too Entertainment, brilliant from morning to the evening there is always something going on massive shout out to sally what a lovely lady proper down to earth and so easy to have a laugh with absolutely loved that! Family friendly my 8 yr old found so many friends in the hotel they had a ball there’s more than enough on site but so close to the strip amazing restaurants and bars felt right at home
Nice hotel but I'm a bit devastated I can't have any of the drinks I enjoy on the all inclusive package we've paid for..... Have to pay! Even on all inclusive package. Up till now IV had to pay for my ice coffee I enjoy my pink gin IV gone to the shop and bought a bottle to drink on a night and I have to pay for a mojito.
