This superb hotel is situated approximately 3 km east of the fishing port Paphos and around 3 km from the city centre. Paphos International Airport is 15 km from the hotel, and a link to the public transport network is to be found directly in front of the hotel. The rooms each come with amenities that ensure guests will feel comfortable. In the garden area, guests will find a swimming pool and a poolside snack bar as well as a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols laid out ready for use. The hotel offers a range of facilities designed to aid relaxation, including a Jacuzzi, a sauna, a steam bath, and a range of spa and massage treatments. Guests will enjoy the range of leisure activities offered which include, but not exhaustive, aqua aerobics, banana boating and water-skiing. The hotel's restaurant provides delicious dishes and special dietary requirements are also catered for.
Relax at the full-service spa, where you can enjoy massages, body treatments and facials. If you're looking for recreational opportunities, you'll find a health club, an outdoor pool and an indoor pool. This hotel also features complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and an arcade/games room.
We stayed at the Aquamare Beach Hotel and Spa for 14 nights B&B. We had a lovely sea view room on the 1st floor which was quiet and a good size room with comfortable beds. A lovely walk in shower room with toiletries shower gel etc and rooms were cleaned everyday with fresh towels. Beach towels were provided for round the pool and beach area. Breakfast was lovely with a good selection of hot and cold food with plenty of coffee machines. The beach bar has a good selection of food and drinks/cocktails. There is a bus stop just a few yards up the road near the hotel which takes you to Paphos for €2 each approximately 15 mins. By taxi 8 mins for €15. We found on our second day down at the beach bar a particular member of staff was quite rude regarding a drink we had requested. We also wanted to order food but were ignored as we waited until 8.30 to be served. We then reported this to reception asking where we could get something to eat as we had been ignored in the bar. We ate in the Diana restaurant which was buffet style and the food had been out for sometime and it was lukewarm unfortunately, but ate the meal anyway as we were both hungry by this time which was 9pm. The manager came to apologise regarding the beach bar staff. We were offered a complementary bottle of wine and a free meal in the hotels Italian Restaurant another evening which was much appreciated. We were a little disappointed as it was again a buffet style. The pizza my husband had was cold which was a shame. Obviously we didn’t not want to complain as we had been offered a complementary meal.
We found other members of staff to be pleasant and helpful during our stay.
The pool was very clean and was never over crowded there were also plenty of sun-beds some better than others as they were quite tired and worn. There were only 3 lifts which were small and one lift seemed to be out of order most of the time we stayed which everyone found frustrating. We kept having to use the staircase luckily we were on the 1st floor. I’m afraid I would only rate this hotel as a 3 star and not a 4 star hotel.
Location: approximately 25mins from the airport by coach transfer. It’s about a 40 minute walk to Paphos harbour but you can get a bus for two euros per person and will be there in 10-15 mins depending on traffic. Beach at the rear of the hotel is quite small and very slippy rocks to enter the sea. It’s about a 20-30 minute walk to the municipal beach, and whilst it’s still rocky much easier to enter the sea. You can hire sunbeds and umbrellas here. Three euros for a bed and three euros fifty for an umbrella. You can walk here down the main road or use the coastal path to the rear of the hotel which does take a little longer. Sunbeds and umbrellas are free at the hotel and plenty there but they do get towels on them to reserve.
The hotel and the rooms are very clean and maid service is daily.
We were half board so had breakfast and dinner and whilst the menu isn’t as large as some hotels we’ve visited, we found enough to choose from and the food at dinner was excellent. The only day we ate out was on fish day which was a Friday when we ate out as there wasn’t another option if you didn’t like fish. The menus for the evening is placed outside the restaurant door.
The staff at breakfast and dinner were very friendly and cleaned the tables quickly.
The reception staff ( apart from a guy who was in late in the evening) we found to be very unhelpful and not friendly at all. No smiles or pleasant greetings and everything seemed to much trouble, especially EVa.
No late check out on offer just a blatant no, and no courtesy rooms to change in. We didn’t leave the hotel till 7 in the evening. We could get a clean towel from the lower ground floor and use the showers in the gym. There are two showers in the male and two in the females room. Two lockable changing rooms but a glass screen on the shower. Luckily I hadn’t got into the shower when a man came in asking where he could get a towel from. We wasn’t happy that we had to use a general shower room open to anyone for a five minute shower. The luggage room isn’t locked and is by the hotel entrance, it was pretty full when we put our cases in, and whilst it’s quite small people had pushchairs in there that hadn’t been folded down leaving little room to put the cases in. Overall though, clean, excellent food and. Well placed
It was our second stay at the hotel for 2 weeks, and next year we will be back again! Everything is just so perfect.
I have to be honest , when I booked this hotel I was not sure it would live up to my expectations. I’ve been to Cyprus but not stayed in paphos before . But as a solo traveller this time I liked the idea that it had a gym , spa and you could walk in to paphos which takes about 30 minutes .
Firstly the rooms are clean and spacious . The housekeeping team are friendly and cleaned the room so it was spotless every day .
My only observation inside the hotel was that the hallways def need some talc to bring this hotel up to standard as they are very dull !
The pool is great with numerous sunbeds and I didn’t struggle once to find a bed . Favourite place for me was facing the sea.
Small quiet beach is directly next to the hotel .
Pool bar Marina and Anna make the best aperol spritz !!!
And in the gym have to give the lovely Maria a mention . Extremely friendly . I enjoyed her Pilates and yoga classes very much during my stay .
I only had breakfast as I wanted to eat out but there was a huge selection and the waiting staff again super efficient clearing tables .
Entertainment is simple - which I personally prefer . And if you are looking for kids clubs this probably isn’t your hotel . But it’s def suitable for families that want to spend time with the kids .
Also right next to the water park if that’s of interest .

It is a really lovely hotel, very, very clean, spacy, great pool and on the beach. Rooms cleaned daily, air con everywhere, always got a sunbed, free towels. Quite a modern feel and this was nice. Just a couple of notes and reason for 4 stars, hardly any evening entertainment and we experienced a few unhelpful staff in the beach bar and on reception but generally they were ok. If using car hire go direct to the companies online we saved over €60 for 3 days recommend EK megarent car rental this compared to using the hotel direct. Overall a great resort, thanks
