Absolutely beautiful hotel. Our last day today and we are sad to be leaving. We’ve booked for bed and breakfast and the breakfast has been one of the best we’ve experienced in any 5 star hotel. There is so much choice and the service is exceptional. The staff have really made our stay, they are some of the most friendly and welcoming. As soon as you sit down for breakfast they take your drinks order and continue to check whether you’d like another coffee. After a couple of days they knew our orders (decaf oat iced latte 😊)
The hotel and grounds are spotlessly clean, another big plus is there are plenty of sun loungers to chose from and they are all so comfortable. We preferred to sit down by the sea, and throughout the day there are always plenty of free Sunbeds. This makes the holiday so much more relaxing. And the Pino colado’s are fantastic!
The location of the hotel is perfect. By the ocean and within walking distance of the numerous restaurants and cafes all along the sea front and harbour. It is a vibrant place.
A beautiful hotel in a beautiful location, with exceptional service. 🥰
We were here for the end of the last week of UK Easter school holidays. There were a few children, not many. Heaps of sun loungers available but some facilities not available (eg the swim up bar). The hotel has a quaint old world charm. Breakfast was just wonderful, with staff ho remember you day to day and more choice than you can imagine. We fruequently had lunch and drinks poolside. Good quality and service, priced as you'd expect in a 5* hotel. Because the marina is so close, we tended to walk out for a cheap and cheerful dinner. A couple of days the weather was cooler and we went to the lighthouse, and on a longer walk with a stop for a coffee on another day. One day we had a few hours indoors because of hammering rain, but there was plenty of space to play cards, have drinks, read. It was fine. We had a garden terrace room. The only let down is the terrace. Not cleaned and a lot of bird poop on the lounger. It was quiet though and had all we needed.
The Annabelle hotel in Paphos was truly wonderful. From the location, range of restaurants to choose from, the friendly helpful and courteous staff all second to none, we couldn’t fault it. Absolutely loved it! My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary whilst staying and we were treated to a gorgeous dessert in our room and glasses of bubbly at dinner. Very thoughtful and touch’s like this makes it head and shoulders above other places. We ate in all the hotel restaurants, having chosen where we wanted each night reception booked them for us and we were never disappointed. From sunset views at Antasia, the most delicious steak at Notios, Almyra to romantic fine dining at Amarosa, breakfast on the seafront in Mediterraneau and the best curry and views and live beautiful music at Ouranos , absolutely amazing. if you want to come back from a holiday and feel you’ve been spoilt, the you won’t be disappointed if you choose Annabelle.
The Annabelle is in an excellent location. It iss the last hotel on the coast before the marina but still feels exclusive and removed from the crowds there. We had a full sea view on the third floor overlooking the 'quiet' pool which I can recommend as a location. The view is delightful, overlooking the sea and from one end of the balcony which is ample sized you can see Paphos Castle. We asked for a third chair as we were a group of three and that was brought immediately . Housekeeping is excellent (note no turn down service on arrival day), bathroom towels and products are of a good quality, good strong shower and beds were excellent and air con is good too.
You can see its an older hotel by the plugs, old key but the room size and storage is very good indeed.
The breakfast is very good quality indeed and sets you up well for the day. The pools are very good although we preferred to be by the main pool which had the most seating and we never struggled to find a place. I think people do nab seats quite early after 8am and towels could be cleared more quickly when beds have been left fro the day but I think the number of beds and the more dignified clientele who don't and can't get out at the crack of dawn to take a sunbed was a big plus for us. There are several pools at different levels with different depths and these are good to visit although seating around these is more limited and they tend to be busier.
Pool service at the sunned is very good - priced on the higher side but the quality is very good.
I would say the staff are excellent throughout the entire hotel. It is rather quiet with limited things to do besides the pool and eating - the Meditterraneo restaurant is excellent by the way facing the sea but its a short walk to the marina which is a good idea in the evening.
I interacted with Chrystalla Socratous the Guest Services Manager during the visit and the sign of a top hotel is how professional the interaction is and what actions are taken. Chrystalla is a credit to the hotel and we fully appreciated how our visit was elevated during our stay.
Recommended hotel for a Paphos visit.
My wife and I spent the first week of a fortnight in Cyprus at the Annabelle, celebrating our wedding anniversary. This was our fourth visit, and once again the warmth and hospitality of the staff made it truly special.
Check-in was efficient and friendly – thank you, Maria. The hotel upgraded us to a full sea-view room and left a bottle of fizz for our celebrations, which was a lovely touch.
The rooms are spacious and brilliantly air-conditioned, with generous balconies looking out over the old harbour and citadel – the sunsets are fabulous. Bathrooms are kept immaculate with fresh towels and toiletries daily, and the housekeeping team are friendly and accommodating.
Breakfast is a feast – full cooked options, Cypriot specialities, fruits, yoghurts, you name it. It can get busy towards the end of service, but with breakfast running past 10am there’s plenty of time to find a quieter slot.
There’s a great choice of pools with plenty of loungers, each with lovely thick towels freshly laundered. Several bars and a restaurant serve the pool area, and you can order drinks direct to your lounger.
And the lobby bar? A revelation. The cocktail list is superb.
Special thanks to Taminda, the mixologist there. He’s an absolute star and sums up the care and service that keeps bringing us back – friendly, professional, clearly knows his craft inside out, and every drink was a work of art.
In short, the Annabelle is a wonderful hotel – but what makes it truly special is the staff. It’s their warmth, professionalism and genuine care that keep us coming back year after year.
