Can’t recommend a place more! Everything from the professional and friendliness from the staff, to the range of food options, to the beautiful scenery. Lovely 5+ star place which I would go back to anyday
Faultless, one of my new favourite hotels
We have been fortunate enough to stay in many five-star hotels around the world, and I can honestly say this is one of the better ones.
From the moment we arrived, the level of service was exceptional. Every member of staff was professional, attentive, and genuinely committed to ensuring guests had a wonderful experience. The rooms were beautifully presented, spotless, comfortable, and equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay.
Two things that are particularly of note are the quality of the food and the excellent system they have for reserving the sun beds. The food in the buffet restaurant is themed and changes from night to night. No matter which evening, whether it's Italian, whether it's French, whether it's Indian or local food, the quality of the food is exceptional.
One of my favourite things, though, was the way they manage the sunbeds. First, they are in abundance, extremely comfortable, and spaced well enough apart so you don't feel like a battery-caged hen that you sometimes feel like in some resorts. The system is super simple: you choose a pair of sunbeds (for a couple) on the day you arrive (there were about 10-15% free when we arrived), and they are yours throughout your stay. There is no 6 a.m. rush to put your towels out. You can leave it until any time during the day, as your sunbed is always going to be there, ready and waiting for you.
There is a frequent stream of waiters and waitresses handing out free juices throughout the day, and water is provided free of charge. The service to your sunbeds is lightning fast. Once you've ordered something, it appears within a couple of minutes. It is absolutely faultless.
The facilities were excellent, and the attention to detail throughout the hotel was evident. What truly sets this hotel apart is the combination of outstanding service, high-quality accommodation, and a welcoming atmosphere.
We would not hesitate to recommend it and look forward to returning in the future.
Gets better second time round
This is my second visit but first time solo still made me feel special really well run hotel a special thank you to the young lady's in the dinning room could not do enough to make my experience good looking forward to next year thank you for a great holiday
Excellent hotel. Well recommended
We had a fantastic stay at Amavi MadeForTwo Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, couples-only getaway.
Our room was spotlessly clean, beautifully laid out, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The housekeeping team did an excellent job every day, and the attention to detail throughout the hotel was impressive.
Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, making us feel valued from the moment we arrived until we left. The service was exceptional throughout our stay.
The food was outstanding, with an excellent choice at every meal and consistently high quality. Whether dining in the buffet or the à la carte restaurants, everything was beautifully presented and delicious.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Thank you to everyone at Amavi for making our holiday so special—we would definitely recommend this hotel to other couples visiting Paphos.
Doesn’t deserve 5 Stars, should be 6 Stars!!
I feel cheated in regard to any other hotel I have given a 5 star to as this hotel is definitely a 5 star. In fact I would give it 6 stars it’s that good.
My other half emailed a few days before to say that it was our anniversary and wanted to make sure we had a nice room as last year in a different hotel we ended up with a view of a car park despite paying for sea view. When we arrived we were not disappointed, not only did we have a great room we also had a cake and champagne waiting for us in our room with lovely decoration on the bed. It was a great start to the hotel and only got better.
Room: The room was a good size, had floor to ceiling windows which you can see from the bathroom to the ocean. There is a privacy screen if you are sharing with a friend or don’t want to see your other half on the toilet lol but it was nice to have a shower overlooking the ocean. There is a hairdryer in the room but the iron isn’t great.
Housekeeping is great and comes in twice a day, at turn down service they leave little chocolates on your pillow.
Sunbeds and Pool: The sun bed allocation is brilliant and I wish all hotels would do the same. There is no rushing for a sun bed and it was great to see at 8am no sun beds reserved with towels on as it wasn’t needed.
Twice a day the pool attendants come round with a healthy shot drink and I’m the afternoon they also bring round a cold towel which is really nice. You also get a cool bag with two bottles of water each day.
It’s also good that no smoking is allowed by the pool. Many times we have downgraded a hotel because we have had to suffer second hand cancer from people smoking and it was great that I didn’t smell smoke once whilst I was there.
Food: As a vegetarian I always struggle with food. On the second day there it was oriential night and the only veggie stuff they had was rice and noodles which is a bit dry. The chef asked me if the food was ok and I said that it was a bit dry as I didn’t have anything to go with it, he asked if I wanted sauce and I said that would be great, he then went and made a sauce especially for me. He then said if I wanted veggies with it he would make it as it was no trouble. I said that would be great and he told me to go to my table and they would bring it over. It exceed my expectations as it was a bowl of veggies in a lovely sauce. I have never had a chef in a hotel do that for me, let alone volunteer it. I was just going to do what I usually do and eat plain rice and noodles. I was so impressed and touched that someone would do that.
The Immenso restaurant was good. Although as a vegetarian there wasn’t a great deal of choice but it was a lovely experience anyway. We visited this restaurant twice.
Nocturne restaurant was nice. A guy playing piano in the background was really nice. The veggie options were limited and contained a lot of mushroom which I have an intolerance to, however as the food was made from scratch they were able to adjust to cater for my needs which I thought was a huge plus.
Staff: The staff in this hotel are so friendly without being over the top. The rooms and resort are clean and smell nice and it’s just a lovely place to be.
Location: The location is good, it’s a short walk to the harbor but we only went in there twice for a walk and that’s about it. We stayed in the hotel as it was better.
Gym: The gym was good. As someone who runs and goes to the gym, I went to the gym daily. For a hotel gym it had good equipment. My only gripe was that it was too hot in there. We tried turning the thermostat down but it was still too hot to run on the treadmill which made my runs even harder.
Late checkout: Checkout is at 12 but we were getting picked up for the airport at 3 so we asked to check out and 2 which was accommodated for €40 which I thought was very reasonable.
Overall: This is a great hotel, I would definitely come back and definitely worthy of its 5 star rating.
