We arrived at the aliathon late at night and was greeted by the lovely check in team who got us through check in quickly, they also provided food.
ROOM
We stayed in the ionian block which was lovely and modern (room 2118) beds were really comfy and we had a large balcony. The cleaners do a great job. UK plug sockets were a added bonus also with USB slots.
POOLS
With us having a gold wristband we had use of the swimup bar and pool, this pool was really cold and just what you want when its red hot! The lifeguard was very friendly and maria and ionnis on the swim up bar were very polite. The splash pool is really good for the younger children and the main pool was really large (bit warm for a warm day) but the slope in is what you want when you have kids and people less able. Inflateables are also allowed.
FOOD
The snack bar consist of homemade pizza which were amazing!! Hot dogs, burgers, salad and pasta pots, chips, nuggets, meatballs, desserts ETC
Self pour drinks throught the complex was a very big hit
We usually just waited for the snackbar to open instead of breakfast, the lunchtime restaurant was delicious, we used to make tuna pasta or tuna salad! Everywere os heinz sauce too!
The food was nice, at nightime there is a bbq station outside with more choice inside. The cookie dough is so good!
Theres plenty of ice cream choice including oreo and some sorbets for vegans
The lady manager at lunch and tea was amazing! Always finding you a seat and very welcoming, never queing for a table even when we was a party of 15
LOCATION
The location is good, with a few shops outside the hotel complex (but still owned by aliathon) we walked to the harbour and had tea at the sail in the castle which i would recommend! Also we went to the fiesta bar a 5 minute walk away! The cocktails and nachos were delicious
The complex is nice and clean with plenty of activites all day long, the lifeguard do blow their whistle but its for the saftey of the children (jumping in when they have already been warned 5 times ETC) the rooms for coming home are very nice clean and spacious.
Would i return? Possibly but we try not to go to the same hotel twice
Just returned home after another wonderful week here! I can't praise the hotel enough. Lovely big room in the ionian part of the hotel. This time had a room facing the pools and really enjoyed it.
The food was as good as I remember 3 years ago. Always a big selection to please everyone. The evening meal choices are the best in my opinion.
What makes this hotel is the staff. Im rubbish at names but everyone we spoke to were lovely. Special thanks to the older lifeguard at the kids pool. He is a joy and real asset to your team. Always smiling and stops for a chat. My little boy slipped and banged his head and he rushed straight over to assist. Another shout out to the old boy who changes the towels. A lovely chap who again always smiling and very helpful. You've got a great team of staff at the hotel and I'm sure we'll be back again in the future.

Writing this review whilst on a sunbed on our last day here before flying home. Well what can I say, it’s been a 5* experience for us with zero complaints and only praise. For a family of 14, including toddlers, kids, teens and grandparents.
The accommodation was an excellent size for our large family, we had 4 rooms including 1 bed apt’s and 2 bed apt’s in the fishing village. Spacious, clean and quiet. Cleaned often, fresh towels daily, kettle fridge cooker included.
Excellent food, zero complaints here, always something to eat. Highlight for me was how the excellently they are at accommodating allergies. My toddler suffers with milk protein allergy.. there was alternative milks on offer; vegan chocolate cakes, sorbet instead of ice cream. He always felt included and lived his best life.
Excellent activities with the holiday village team. Kids loved being included, decent night time stuff for them. We made the most of the academies with one child using the swim academy and one using stage academy. Loved all the certificates given out!! This is the kids best holiday to date and we go on a lot! They loved all the high ropes, inflatable obstacles course, kids clubs etc.
Also whilst here my son had an accident - absolutely not the hotels fault, just boys being boys. The swim instructor, life guard and managers all helped us get him to the doctor and hospital swiftly. Unfortunately this occurred on our last day resulting in hospital admission meaning we missed our flight with the rest of the family (6 other adults and 6 children). The guest experience staff were fab, ensuring we had a place to come back to upon discharge even though we had to effectively been checked out. They offered taxis arranging, extra accommodation etc and to visit us in the hospital if we needed any support. The arranged special assistance for us at the airport even though we were flying with someone other than TUI.
We will be back and I can not thank you all enough for all of the support at this difficult time.

Stayed here for are 4th time at aliathon. The tui reps Dave manager and the black haired braided women were shocking..they need sacking ive already filed a report to tuis head office...me and my family will never stay at aliathon again after such happy memories for 3 years ..it as been ruined...do not stay at this hotel...the tui reps are so vindicative and drunk..my 9 year old daughter does not ever want to stay here again due to the staff and she as been coming since she was 6. We dont have any problems with the hotel staff just the tui reps that was chosen for this year. The pictures are from last year such a good time..alithoin have let us down
