We have been returning to this hotel for many years and every time, we leave more satisfied and pleased than the time before. A great deal of the credit goes to the entire team, from the General Manager and the F & B team, to guest Relations, the Head Hostess, Reception, Pool Services and all their colleagues. The warmth of their smiles, their genuine friendliness and their sincere personal approach make every stay truly special. We leave with wonderful memories and already look forward to our next visit. Our 2nd year at this hotel.. Where do I start? This hotel has it all.. Location, a short walk to the beautiful harbour, although there is a bus stop located outside the hotel with a regular bus service. The hotel itself is spotless with a real friendly atmosphere. Not one of the staff passed you by, we were always greeted with a good morning or afternoon. There were so many staff to mention, who are all so friendly & hardworking. The staff on reception do an amazing job, we were given a warm welcome on arrival & a lovely sandwich and drink. The restaurant is run like clockwork, staff there to greet you and take you to your table, always with a smile. Elena (station leader) is such a beautiful girl, she made us feel so welcome, always asking how our day was & if all was well with us. The food was lovely & plentiful. We were half board plus and as we had missed our dinner on our first night we were given a voucher to use for lunch. We were also impressed with the lunch choice & the fact you could swap dinner for lunch. We requested the room we had last year & were given it on arrival, along with a bottle of prosecco ( lovely gesture) The room as usual was perfect, spotlessly clean with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Sheets changed regular & towels changed daily. The allocation of sunbeds is a winner for us & nothing is any trouble for the pool attendants. The pool bar is spotless and very professionally run. The waiting staff are very attentive. Always making sure you are attended to. Joanna at the pool bar is an absolute treasure, nothing is any bother, always over straight away to ask if we wanted food or drinks. The young lad Kyriakos is so hard working, we saw him both day & night and he was still smiling & singing away. The animation staff are a fab team, such a cheery bunch, asking us to get involved but not pushy if you just wanted a quiet day. We also loved the fact you could put any food or drinks on a bill to your room and pay at the end of your stay. There really is nothing you could fault at Alexander the Great.... It really is GREAT!!!!! We will see you next year 💕
Fabulous hotel location walking distance to the harbour, very clean & tidy. Great staff especially Anna-Maria in the restaurant a lovely lady… nothing too much trouble for all the staff. Had a wonderful relaxing holiday.. thank you.

If it were possible to rate higher than 10, that is what this hotel deserves. Excellent service, excellent cleanliness—the vacation was perfect.
