The new renovated 4 star Vangelis Hotel & Suites is comfortably situated in a prime location in the heart of wonderful Protaras.It is opposite to the finest beaches - the famous Fig Tree Bay and close to Konnos Bay as well as to the National Forest Park of Cape Greco (Cavo Greko). The accommodation units range from spacious, luxury, brand new One Bedroom Suites and Deluxe Superior rooms to non renovated Studio and One-Bedroom apartments with kitchenette facilities. The Hotel offers a variety of leisure facilities that include a large lagoon style swimming pool, separate adults only swimming pool, children's pool and an indoor pool. Other facilities include a tennis court, table tennis, fitness centre with a gym and Spa. Supervised MINI KIDS CLUB is available for our younger guests with an outside playground and an indoor playroom with soft furniture and games. A unique dining experience is offered with a choice of 3 restaurants, a cafeteria for freshly roasted coffees and snacks and 3 bars for day and night cocktails and refreshments.

Be aware this hotel is next to a very noisy open air club which plays loud music until the early hours of the morning each and every night. A restful holiday it was not, kept awake every night.

She made me feel very at ease with the experience around the food . The bar staff were like my were also outstanding I could go on and on but please give the hotel a go . Visited for the first time as a family of 5. We upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite which had great views of pool and sea. Room was incredibly clean and well maintained by the housekeeping team daily- you can choose whether you want this daily. Pool is of a good size and a nice temperature. At the pool and snack bar you were always served in a good time with pleasant staff. The location is great, we were the last drop from the airport so this did take over 1hour 15 minutes, but location is great to explore beaches and surrounding areas. Food was an issue and we found lunch to be better then evening meals, very little variety and one night we did end up with very little and we are not fussy eaters overall. This doesnt seem adequate for the size of the hotel, despite the quality this did become an issue and we only stayed a week. Overall, great hotel, great location but not geared to families and we would not return to this hotel sadly.
Location of the hotel is great very attentive staff. Fabolous suite but side view is of a roof with solar panels and other unattractive units. The disco bar is horrendous at the side of the hotel loud music until 3am. The hotel is beautiful, sunbed hoggers spoils the pool areas same people in same sunbeds for duration of holiday. The food is never hot or even warm we ate out a lot. Should be a microwave to reheat food. Staff are excellant. Cleaning service is excellant. Very clean hotel. Issues stated let it down for us. The main issue is the lack of sleep due to the bar at side of hotel.
Just returned from a 2 weeks stay at the Vangelis, we’ve been to Protaras 14 times staying at numerous hotels ,this was our first stay at this hotel . The hotels location is fantastic being situated right in the middle of the main strip. We stayed in block C which is right next to the adults pool, other hotels we’ve stayed at we’ve had to get up at stupid o’clock in a morning to get a sunbed but this hotel is brilliant there’s no sunbed wars. If I had to criticise this hotel it would be the cleaning situation, we were in block C on ground floor our bed was only changed twice and that’s because I asked for it and the balcony was never cleaned which is a shame because the rooms are lovely, the other thing is the food we found the lunchtime menu better than the evening menu, and noticed some food is only cold because people don’t cover them back up. The pool could do with a clean there’s a lot of black mould and would be better with walk down steps rather than ladders that sway and look unsafe. Overall the hotel is worth staying at , the staff are lovely and can’t do enough for you especially the guys at the adults pool bar they are a credit to you. We will definitely stay at the Vangelis again.
