This hotel is located on what is considered the most beautiful beach in Cyprus, in the centre of the Protaras tourist resort. There are plenty of things to see in the surrounding area such as the Cape Greco Nature Reserve, Protaras Coastal Path and some more impressive beaches. Historical sites like the Agia Napa Medieval Monastry, Aphrodite's Rock and the Tomb of the Kings are worth visiting while in Cyprus. The hotel provides many amenities and services that will suit everyone's needs whether travelling for business or pleasure. There are three restaurants serving a wide variety of international, Mediterranean and sea food dishes, three bars and a patisserie. The modern elegant suites and rooms all have balconies and are equipped with all the essential elements needed to ensure the comfort of the guests. Some suites have private balconies and pools.

Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Just returned from a week’s holiday in this fabulous hotel. Loved everything about it, the staff are super friendly throughout the hotel, it is spotlessly clean and in a great location. We had a sea facing swim up Jnr suite, a super king size bed, loved the pillow menu, we were a family of 3 and felt that we had lots of space. The swim up room was a treat and very relaxing. Half board option is fabulous, restaurants being based off site felt for us like we were going out somewhere different every night. The allocation of sun loungers around the pool is a real winner, no early morning rush for a sunbed and the pool is a 2-minute walk down the path to the lovely beach. Would absolutely recommend and we hope to return someday.
Our 2nd stay at this lovely hotel and it did not disappoint. The food is great, such a good choice of restaurants, although you must remember to book in advance on the screens in reception. The pool area and whole hotel was spotless and the service is fantastic. Special mention to Durga, who remembered us from 2 years ago and was always on hand with a smile at breakfast and dinner. We also love the fact that ypu choose your sunbeds at the start and they are yours for the duration of your stay, I don't know why all hotels don't do this!! We will be back!
Well what can I say about The Sunrise Pearl Resort & Spa ....wow what an amazing place to stay & be thoroughly spoilt!! This was our first time visiting and most certainly won't be the last. Everything about the "Pearl" is 1st class...food/cleanliness/atmosphere and I would say their best asset are the staff who are absolutely fabulous. They make you feel so welcome and nothing is too much trouble for them. From receptionists, chefs, cleaners and the very friendly porters, everyone is fantastic. BIG BIG thanks go to Durga & Manpreet who are a credit to the "Pearl", so professional in doing their job but also make you feel very special xx thankyou ladies. The "game changer" has to be keeping the same sun lounger for the duration of the holiday, makes such a big difference knowing we have a secure spot for the duration of our stay. Little touches such as the fruit bowls given out around the pool, fresh bottled water/chocolates delivered to our room in the evening, makes this hotel that extra little bit special. Food in the main restaurant/pool restaurant is of an exceptional high standard and well presented. One thing that stood out was the presence of the Head Chef at all mealtimes, to me this spoke volumes...a man taking pride in his job. Also, having the use of various restaurants off site (but within a 5 min walk from the hotel) is a brilliant concept. Would definitely recommend Lemongrass and Marcello's (exceptional food & staff). Just returned from a fabulous 7 night stay at this outstanding hotel - a 5* experience! The hotel was immaculate, staff friendly and accommodating, food and service all excellent. The allocated sun beds on arrival were a game-changer and little touches like chocolates early evening and fruit bowls whilst sunbathing were so lovely. Fridge stocked with water throughout the week and complimentary items on arrival. Love it! Highly recommend!!
This was our 2nd visit here, We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary so contacted the hotel prior to our visit to ask if both of our requested rooms could be located on the same floor and on a high floor if possible. When we arrived we were informed the hotel was fully booked and the hotel were unable to accommodate this, but we were allocated 2nd and 3rd floor on top of each other, we were a little put out at first but when we saw our rooms with that lovely view the following morning we decided to stay put. Both rooms were very good, ours was just a bit closer to the breakfast area than we would have preferred, the staff that clean the room never stop and do a great job. The lifts are great and move you quickly, the food ordered from your sunbed is good and we used this a lot, the breakfast area can get really busy at times but also copes quite well with it and the food was mostly okay with something for everybody I would say. There are no irons or ironing boards in your room, so we asked at reception and these got delivered pretty swiftly, have to mention it is a shame our flight gets into Larnaca so late which means we do not actually land in our hotel room till after 11pm ish and a bit of a wasted day at the hotel for us to be honest but that is why we paid for an extra night making our stay 8 nights instead of 7….then because we had to be out of our rooms by 12 noon on departure day we did ask for a late check out room if possible, we were pleased we managed to keep one of our existing rooms until 6pm that day, but we thought the extra cost to us of £100 euros for the extra few hours was very expensive, we realise the flight timings are not the hotels problem but also I have to say there is nothing I could have done about this either but never mind we paid the extra and were glad we had the convenience of a room till later on, maybe in future the hotels could come to some sort of arrangement with holiday companies where this fee could be waived or on a special rate for us late arrivals and departures. In a nutshell this is an excellent hotel in the best location, with friendly helpful staff who do a really good job everyday, this hotel is right on the beach and is centrally located on the strip, it is almost perfect…almost. Like last time our only little personal negative is we would prefer this hotel to be an adult only as the amount of young children and young babies here especially around the pool bar and at breakfast time could become bothersome at times. I write this with my 2nd floor balcony door open and all we can hear are the kids in the pool, they are enjoying themselves and having a great time which is good for them but they are also loud and can be annoying to old gits like me who don't appreciate hearing the constant screaming crying and tantrums from our breakfast table, balcony or sunbed. All that being said we have once again mostly enjoyed our stay here, they do look after you with free water and chocolates in your room and I would end this review by saying that I believe mostly everyone from young to old who stays at the sunrise pearl will have a great holiday here, it is an excellent hotel.
