Lovely hotel in Protaras in both great, quiet location and just a short walk to the town centre. The sunrise in the name is truly deserved - the views every morning are truly breathtaking. The swim-up room is spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfasts are plentiful, fresh and tasty. The service is quick and accommodating. Special thanks to the ray of sunshine in absolutely stunning dresses who welcomed us almost every morning (I'm so sorry I don't remember her name, but nonetheless, she's absolutely sweet human being). The only thing that can even count as a negative is that some of the front desk agents seem somewhat cold and unpleasant (I had a momentary problem with my credit card, resolved in less than 5 minutes, but it seemed it was a nuisance to the staff) but even with this slight hiccup, it's 5 star stay. Special shout out to all the maids, absolutely lovely ladies.
Returned home from a wonderful relaxing time at the Sunrise Jade, Arrived early morning at the hotel, great service from the moment we arrived, because we had arrived past dinner time sandwiches where already in our room, we where given a voucher for the missed dinner which we could use for a lunch which was great, The first morning we made out way to breakfast greeted by Nichola, The hotel caters for all needs at Breakfast, a wonderful spread from cooked breakfast to continental (Great Bacon & proper sausage) you can also have a freshly cooked omlette of your choice. Allocated sunbeds are a game changer, chose our beds in a great location didn't have to worry all 10 days, just change your towels with the super efficient towel guys again outstanding. Around 12 noon the guys come along with frozen flannels - great to cool you down in the midday sun. Dinner was again wonderful, a great spread daily (The desserts are amazing) all the staff are attentive and very polite, it's like a well oiled machine - shout out to Vicky on evening meals 😁 The rooms are cleaned daily, chocolate delivered at 6pm by the wonderful cleaning team. 3 night remaining and we were offered a free upgrade to a swim up room - magical. Couldn't be happier and will return ( We wouldn't ordinarily visit the same hotel twice)
We have recently returned from our second stay here. We were disappointed this time as we did not enjoy the experience as much as we did last May. While last year we found the sunbathing area very quiet and relaxing, this year there were many groups of people together who moved sun beds and set up camp together for the day. They were unaware (or didn’t care) if people were trying to have a peaceful time around them and did not respect their personal space. Last year it felt like a quiet adult only space, this year it was more like a British holiday camp. The hotel was kept very clean and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast offering was good, although we felt you needed to arrive before 8.30 unless you wanted to have your elbows out for the scrum. Dinner this time in the buffet was disappointing. The salads were nice but the main courses were bland and the meat overcooked. The evening entertainment was ok although sometimes the music was too loud for the small bar area. We knew we didn’t like the Protaras strip (think Blackpool) but we were hoping for a quiet tranquil holiday which is perfectly possible given the location of the hotel. We did not achieve this.
This was our 3rd visit to this wonderful hotel and it was probably our best.First and foremost it's the Staff that draws you back more than anything else.Big shout out to Andreas the new restaurant manager who ensures everything runs like clockwork,Anna who is fantastic at customer service and interaction.The bar staff of Marina,JD,Milan,Costas and Sedis.A big shout out to Klara who kept us entertained with the French bowls!The room on the 5th floor was fab and the Sunrises where amazing..The standard of cleanliness is maintained by an army of fantastic cleaners.The allocated Sun beds is a brilliant concept and helps you relax into holiday mode ASAP.We love the space of the Pool area and the access into the Sea.We swam the bay most days and saw the sea turtles.The water is like a millpond.The food quality is of a high standard,the deserts were very moorish.Breakfast was enhanced with Gergious fantastic omelettes.The evening meals where of a high standard and the wines were great.We visited the Ginger restaurant and was served by Maria who was brilliant.The food again was delicious,we also went to the Reef which again was fab and the Brazilian restaurant up the strip which we loved.The location of the hotel gives you great access to the costal walkway which we made use of walking for miles.All in all we had 10 fantastic days and will return.
