Odessa Beach Hotel

Really dissapointed with this place. We booked 3 nights with our 4yo son but wanted to leave the second we stepped inside the hotel for any other hotel. Definitely not even worth 1/5 of the money nor the stars of it. Needs revaluation to be stripped away from half of its stars. The whole property feels like a half-done attempt at renovating a 40 year old building. You get a mix of half updated modern bits alongside ancient 40yo furniture, with things half broken, stained, and clearly not maintained. Even the hallway carpet reminds me of a filthy 100yo pub carpet with a million beer spills. The room tv is the size of a basketball. Yes. That big. And the age of a fresh out of college student. Instead of a proper double bed, we got two worn single beds shoved together with a lump in the middle. The room smelled bad, the AC was faulty and barely cooling, the bathroom had rusty fixtures, and the bathtub drain was blocked so water pools at your feet. The room safe didn't work at all either. The walls are paper thin so you hear every conversation and door slam in the hallway all night. Outside the pools were dirty and there were no lifeguards around. The balcony glass wall was wobbly and loose, which is a major saftey hazard with a toddler. To top it off, reception staff were completely dismissive when we brought up these issues. The photos online are completely misleading compared to reality. Not recommended for a familiy or for anyone else really.

We stayed for 7 nights second week in August with our daughter who had her own room. We had 433 on the forth floor. The Hotel is very dated but that didn’t bother us, the room AC is old but it did the job the bath shower screen leaked so much that a two minute shower flooded the floor between the toilet and bath so we had to use towels to soak it up every time we showered. The sun beds are taken with towels placed before breakfast didn’t bother us we go to the beach, there were a few empty ones each day left on the grass against the boundary wall. Breakfast was ok Lunch was nice but the evening meal is rubbish! We went once on a Carvery themed night there was no potatoes just mash no gravy or veg like lunchtime. You have the option to use a booking system to book other restaurants but we tried and they are fully booked all the time! We were all inclusive and this was our first time, but would never do it again. The Hotel is very clean and the staff are smilie friendly, but we won’t be returning. We have stayed at the Evalena beach hotel and Virissaki apartments this year also, we’ve already booked a self catering apartment for next time.

We had an amazing time on our all inclusive experience. Best chef in Protaras and amazing cocktails both by the pool and at the lobby. Our room was very clean and comfortable, while the staff was extremely polite and helpful. Ideal location at the heart of Protaras coast line. Free parking and walking distance to kiosks, bars, restaurant and pharmacy
