This traditionally-decorated hotel and apartment complex offers breath-taking views out over the free-form swimming pool with water fountains, gardens and landscaped surrounds. The air-conditioned complex has a total of 94 apartments (64 one-bedroom and 30 studios). Facilities include a lobby, 24-hour reception, hotel safe, currency exchange facility, mini-supermarket, hairdressers' salon, bar, nightclub, games room, TV room, children's room, restaurant and Internet access. Room and laundry services are provided and younger guests are sure to enjoy the children's club.
Studios feature an open plan lounge with kitchenette, mini-fridge, bathroom with bath/shower, air conditioning, a direct dial telephone and a balcony. One-bedroom apartments come with one twin-bedded room with air conditioning, a direct dial telephone, an open plan living room with kitchenette, a mini-fridge, bathroom with bath/shower and a balcony. A hairdryer, satellite/cable TV and double beds all feature.
There are a variety of shows including weekly folklore shows. An outdoor swimming pool, children's paddling pool, poolside snackbar, sun loungers, parasols and sun-bathing terrace all feature. A basketball court, games area, tennis court, pool table and darts also feature. There is also a children's entertainment and activity programme. Live music 4-5 times per week.
Guests are sure to enjoy the themed buffet nights.

1st day back after we came in June to find it absolutely amazing again staff recognised us straight away made the kids feel at home especially the entertainment guy who makes everybody young and old feel relaxed,clean and tidy like the first time already booked to come back next year, thank you to the narrcisos team you are all amazing
We love Cyprus and have been many times as my Mum used to live there. We have stayed in most of the resorts and many hotels. The Protaras area is one of our favourites and we will certyianly return. Narcissos is in a good position to get the bus in both directions - Protaras or Ayia Napa and there are 2 beaches within a 10 minute walk too which are lovely (small but stunning). The hotel itself I would descibe as a basic 3*. The rooms are very varied (doesn't matter what you book, you get whats available when you arrive) in size, view, decor and position. We booked 6 identical rooms - studio with balcony or terrace, and somehow ended up with 4 different room types. They are basic but clean and pratical. The food is a bit hit and miss. The breakfast is fine and as to be expected - cereal, toast, pastries, fruit and a hot selection, kids loved the pancakes with nutella! Lunch is in the a la carte restauarnt and is for some reason much better than the evening meals. Lunch includes the pizzeria which is a big clay oven with 3-4 different pizzas on offer each day so is great for most people. The evenings in the main restaurant seems to be less choice and not as good quality, although we all found something to eat every night - apart from French night which was vile and really needs to be wiped from the menu! We chose to eat in the a la carte one night and this was an epic fail! The waitress didnt understand the menu, the choices were terrible and there was nothing gluten free for my husband and daughter. It was more stressful than the buffet and not as nice. We asked for ice cream for dessert and they went and got a handful of choclate lollies from the pool bar which are for kids during the day and put them on the table! Not a la carte in the slightest. They'd be better off getting rid of this option and just sticking to using one restaurant for lunch and the other for dinner. The only other issues we had with the hotel were the rude reception staff. I have no idea why they are all so abrupt and rude, it's such a shame when the restaurant, bar and entertinament staff are all so lovely and friendly - makes no sense. And then the seating area in the evening which is my main gripe - there isn't one!! There is a small ampitheatre for kids entertaiment but no comfy outdoor seating for a nice evening, so this really needs to improvve as it really means you can't have an enjoyable evening, once dinner is done it's over as nowhere to sit. The bar closing at 11pm is a pain, but the staff are lovely and will let u get 3 or 4 drinks if you get in just before they close. Closing at midnight and providing outside seating would make such a massive difference and would mean I would consider returning. Overall a great holiday for our family group of 14, and I highly recommend doing a boat trip from protaras prier as i finally got to swim with turtles which was amazing and something I'll remember forever!
Appalled isn’t the word for how myself and family were treated while reporting a bracelet theft by a cleaner The response was NO not in this hotel 4 days for staff to report it to the manager who acted on the day we were leaving Hotel response even after checking the card access to our room with 2 separate entry’s of an hour between by the cleaner Entry’s was We agree somethings was not right but the cleaner has cried so we believe her Well I had a 15 year old girl in tears at the theft of her sentimental bracelet
Moving forward to the managers words of I will send you the money for a replacement Please send your details and picture of the bracelet for payment
And guess what the email address his personal one by the way is fake Absolutely disgusting Stay away from this hotel
Not long returned from a father & son trip for 2 weeks. Honest review.
Lower pool does get busy early & you struggle for loungers after 9am. There is always loungers at the waterpark & it’s more quieter up there too, there isn’t anywhere to swim in the waterpark though. The slides are fab, we had a blast.
The room was nice & very big. The fridge came in handy too. We had a kitchenette but never used it.
The afternoon food was great in the restaurant, the fresh made pizzas were amazing. The evening food seemed to lack variety, it was pretty similar every night. Plenty of grilled meat though. The salad was no where near on par with other 4* hotels I’ve stayed before. The Pan Asian & BBQ Night was great. Desserts weren’t great either, it was mostly stuff packed with cream, barely anything with chocolate. I’d recommend eating out twice a week, it’s not too expensive in Protaras.
Bar staff were great, a nice variety of cocktails are included & the iced coffee was great too.
The bus stop outside is only 10 mins from Protaras strip, the beach in Protatas is very busy all the way across. The steps directly into the sea outside the TUI Blue hotel are great & it’s the bluest water on the whole beach. Whenever we went to visit the beach, we went there every time. We spent time at a small lagoon (shingle) beach called Palm Tree grotto. All this can be found easily using Google maps.
The beach across the road from the hotel was accessible by walking through the staff apartments that’s next to the abandoned hotel. Both Nisia & Green Bay Beach were small but lovely all the same with nice sand.
The evening entertainment as a whole was lacking & that’s mainly because the kid’s disco (which plays the same songs every night) & the nightly Bingo both take up a decent chunk of the evening. The real entertainment doesn’t start until 10pm which is disappointing because the bar closes at 11pm so make sure you get a few drinks in before then. The entertainment booked was great though when it eventually started.
All staff speak great English.
There are lots of cats around the hotel & most are friendly. There are 2 shiops just outside the hotel & they sell cat food.
The only English Channel was Comedy Central (which was great for us) but obvs not everyone would agree. We enjoyed nightly South Park, Malcom in the middle & American Dad.
The hotel has a luggage room & a shower room downstairs (-1) in the lift, they have lockers too for your passports if needed so you can make the most of the your last day.
The only negative thing I feel I must point out was one of the restaurant managers. (small guy with glasses) Openly shouting & berating the staff who were clearing/prepping tables, they work 3 shifts per day & they work damn hard & hearing the way this man spoke to them was appalling & extremely unprofessional. The other restaurant manager was lovely (big guy with glasses)
Overall, I wouldn’t say it’s 4* but I’d say it’s better than a standard 3* which fits with the amount we paid for a 2 week stay. The water park is the seller & travelling with a 13 years old lad, it’s the main reason I booked. I’d visit again but not within 5 years.
We spent a week there at the end of August.
The hotel is very average. Our room was a double, so it was quite spacious and had a small balcony. Unfortunately, it was only cleaned once during our stay, and we also had a cockroach in the room.
Food: Good choice and generally well prepared. The dining area staff were always friendly and helpful, which was a definite plus.
Pool area: Far too small for the number of guests. Most of the sunbeds were already taken before 7am.
Water park: Not very big, but enough to keep small children entertained for a while.
Noise: There was loud music by the pool, to the point where you had to shout to have a conversation. The evening entertainment was also very loud, and there was no quiet area where you could sit and relax after dinner.
Reception staff: Unfortunately, this was another downside. The female reception staff were quite unfriendly and unhelpful, which made dealing with any issues rather unpleasant.
On the positive side, there are a few lovely beaches in the area, which are great for swimming and snorkelling.
Overall: We did have a reasonably enjoyable time, but we wouldn’t choose this hotel again. For the price, you can find better hotels with a higher standard. If you enjoy a loud, busy and lively hotel, you may have a good time here. However, in our opinion, it is definitely not a 4-star hotel — I would rate it around 3.
