Our floor was full of young lads running around the corridors slamming doors and shouting at 4am...very disappointed went down to inform them at reception and they didn't do anything about it. This went on for 5 nights,One of the reception staff when we went down to explain for the 5th time got very grumpy and said "what do you want me to do about it" definitely will not be going back to this hotel again.
We came here last July and had a lovely time but was so disappointed this year. We were on the same floor as a group of young people that were very loud every night. They woke my family and I every night. They ran up and down the corridors laughing shouting between 3am and 4am every night. We phoned down to reception to sort it, but the group of young people just laughed at the staff and continued doing whatever they wanted. We complained several times but was told there was nothing they could do as the hotel was full, so we couldn't change rooms and just had to put it with it. We we're absolutely exhausted. The day staff on reception was nice and apoglised several times and said it was unacceptable what we've been through but did absolutely nothing to fix it. They offered us a meal in the hotel and late check out, which we declined what we wanted was for them to sort the badly behaved noisy neighbours. In our 11 nights stay we only had our towels changed twice. We dried the towels on the balcony but they smelt damp, so we had to dry ourselves with smelly towels. The floors in the room were absolutely filthy. The bathroom smelt badly. Good points - the location.
Good location, friendly atmosphere, clean and wide rooms
Hotel / Apts very nice and the location is absolutely perfect. Staff are very friendly and nothing is too much. We relied on self catering in the apartment but arrived with very little cutlery or dishwashing sponge etc. This was easily and cheaply sorted by the Best Buy store opposite.
The rooms are very large, view from 6th floor rooms is beautiful with view of the sea and Fig Tree Bay. Stunningly large double balcony.
Reception area is very modern and what my folks would call “a bit posh”.
This hotel is lovely, the location is spot on - right in the middle of the strip.
Rooms are clean and comfy, others have commented that beds are hard but we found the bed to be great. The sofa bed that our teens slept on was a bit hard so maybe worth asking for additional mattress toppers.
Sunbeds cannot be accessed until 8am which in the first few days for us there was no problem getting some. Unfortunately a large group arrived mid way through the week and took over a huge area, often reserving beds and either not using them until after lunch or not at all. They also went early for beds which meant at 8am none were available. If you like to be in the sun then try to get beds at the back, near the wall that backs on to the street or you’ll be in shade from around 2.30pm.
Rooms are well furnished with all you need, however if there are 4 adults or 2 adults and teens then it would be good to have some drawers as there isn’t a lot of storage.
Only complaint I would have is the lack of air con in reception and in the corridors. The poor staff have to work in reception with no air con and when waiting for transfers the customers sweat too - please please managers, switch it on!
