Maris Grand Waterpark Resort

Great week at this clean comfortable hotel the location is 15/20 minutes walk to the strip so not too noisy at night but close enough to the buzzing atmosphere of the town centre . A good atmosphere in the hotel night time entertainment ok and kids and adults stuff during the day the animation crews were all good. The room was very nice with a pool view (405) absolute total blinding hot sun from 7-30 in the morning but shady in the afternoons which i personally prefered. The whole site was very clean and well run, the food was good quality and plentiful as was the drinks. The staff were helpful and polite. Generally a great hotel and a great place to stay but a few niggles that were noted by me and others I spoke to were the normal sunbed wars in the morning but afternoons ok , total lack of sun shade in the pool side areas ,unless you were lucky enough to get a sunbed with an umbrella there is nowhere to eat or drink alfresco style there are tables to eat but only in the direct red hot sunshine , a canopy in this area is much needed I would say . The toilet situation is quite poor, with only 1 male and 1 female cubicle available in the pool area indeed on the ground floor in total , there was a disabled toilet on the ground floor reception area of the main building but you have to go down another floor by lift or stairs to use toilets there . There is a staff gate that gives access to the whole site round the side that was always wide open so anyone could walk in to the complex unchallenged so not the best security I felt it being a family hotel. Well that’s my opinion it’s a great hotel that we would definitely return to but needs some issues addressing

Great location,very frendly staff🫶 delicious food and drinks🤩We had an amazing holiday July 2026 with my family. The cleaners are doing their job so well, one morning before we go for breakfast the housekeeper was shouting at the cleaners, she started shouting something at them in Greek that we didn’t understand i ask for her name Temenuika -very rude lady with her staff☹️.

Maris grand hotel is in a prime location (10min walk from main strip) , the hotel is absolutely spotless! Bill and Maria provide excellent customer service, resolved problems and had a smile on there face welcoming guests at all times what a massive credit to the hotel so sad to say goodbye!!! Rooms were spotless and a massive thankyou to our amazing cleaner(tipped her for her hard work)! As soon as we stepped into the hotel Christopher the receptionist was so kind and lovely who gave us a wonderful first impression. This hotel has such a great atmosphere and felt well worth our money . The waterpark was good but had better my children got a bit bored after a while but still good. The whole hotel was the most cleanest place i’ve ever been to!! It was SPOTLESS! Lifeguard maria always made my children smile so did the entertainment team! Paula , Maria and Ella were so kind and let my son play music on the hotel speaker. Evening entertainment was just standard like all hotels but still was okay. What a lovely holiday we had and defo would love to return! Please pass message onto Bill and Maria( we told them we were gonna do a review) as they were lovely people and the hotel are so lucky to have them!!
