Rooms at Constantinos the Great Beach Hotel are every bit as impressive as you'd expect. The comfortable air conditioned/heated twin or double rooms lead on to a furnished balcony, and provide all the amenities you'll want, including satellite TV, mini cooler, tea/coffee facilities, safety deposit box, a radio, telephone and hairdryer... and yes, you can select a stunning sea view room for a small supplement.
We'd also recommend taking your time over a meal in the restaurant. It's another wonderfully light, bright space, and perfectly conducive to relaxing. And if relaxation is what you're after, then you'll want to make full use of the sauna and steam treatment baths and massage room.

We have stayed at this hotel many times over the years, but sadly this will be our last visit. The standards have noticeably declined, which is really disappointing.
Our stay got off to a poor start. Although this isn’t entirely the hotel’s fault, Jet2 coaches no longer drop guests at the hotel entrance, meaning we had to walk from the main road with our luggage. This was especially difficult as my parents are recovering from hip and knee surgery. It would have been helpful if the hotel offered assistance with luggage for guests in this situation. The hotel signage also has several lights missing, giving an unwelcoming and run-down first impression.
When we arrived at our room at 2am, there was no complimentary drinking water, the toilet wouldn’t flush, and the bedside tables still had cup marks left by previous guests, suggesting housekeeping standards have slipped.
My parents’ room has no working air conditioning, and they were told that a replacement panel has to be ordered from Spain. Unfortunately, this isn’t an acceptable solution when guests are staying in the middle of summer.
The food was disappointing and lacked the quality we have experienced elsewhere. If good hotel food is important to you, I would recommend Cavo Maris instead.
The pool towels are very worn and in need of replacement, and the bath towels are also old and didn’t smell fresh – in fact, they had an unpleasant food odour.
The shower also floods the bathroom floor, so you have to be extremely careful.
While some members of staff were friendly and welcoming, others could be more approachable and remember basic customer service and manners.
That said, there are still some positives. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the main strip, the beach is beautiful, the rooms and hotel décor are perfectly pleasant, and the pool-side balcony views are lovely.
Overall, this hotel has always been one of our favourites, which makes this decline all the more disappointing. We hope management addresses these issues, but unfortunately, after this visit, we won’t be returning.

love, love this hotel If you want a seriously stylish and serene hotel, look no further than The Constatinos the Great Hotel. We have visited Protaras every year for nearly10 years. This was the best stay we have had. We have already booked again for next year and cannot wait to visit again. Everything about this hotel from the staff, management, location, food, service everything is excellent. Staff are amazing(special shout out to THE lobby bar tender EHSAN he is very helpful.

We stayed as a family for 7 nights and it’s not a 4* hotel…

Negatives Food standard is poor, tried to speak to Food manager and no one responded. Rude staff especially reception Rooms never cleaned properly Bedding not changed after 5days had to ask to get it done. No ice cream choices in restaurant Gym is still in the 1980s Grey old towels in bathroom Stained pool towels
