The Local Area
The Cavo Maris is a popular hotel, located in a beautiful, unspoiled, seafront location in Protaras, amongst extensive grass lawns and beautiful gardens which run down to a safe beach with fine golden sand and crystal clear sea water, awarded the blue flag. Within 2 minutes walk, there are 2 more secluded beautiful beaches. The Famous 'Fig Tree Bay' beach, at the Resort centre, is about 1.5 km down the road (15 minutes walk). A local bus service is available to the centre of Protaras (1.5 km) and Paralimni, the biggest town of the area (9 km), or to the nearby bustling resort of Ayia Napa (9 km). Larnaca International Airport is about 59 km away.

I chose this hotel for my vacation for the second time,and I made the right choice. Everything is designed for a perfect getaway, allowing us to simply enjoy our holiday without a care in the world. A big thank you to the entire Cavo Maris team from my family.❤️
Super stay
Arrived late and the night reception staff very helpful providing sandwiches. The rooms were great, no complaints at all. Housekeeping cleaned our rooms daily and were such lovely friendly ladies. The hotel itself was lovely, all staff were attentive, polite and helpful. All areas very clean, with great facilities. Only a couple of very small niggles, swimming pool is small for the size of the hotel, we felt like it was overcrowded and not much room for games, a number of near misses with balls. My son couldn’t join us for breakfast a couple of mornings so I plated up a continental breakfast for him. I was stopped and told that I couldn’t take food up to the room unless there was a valid reason e.g someone was unwell. We were paying for B+B and could order a pizza delivery to take up to our room…..it just seemed a little petty considering we were given sandwiches to take to our room on arrival. Overall a really lovely holiday, I would recommend this hotel to others. Note if booking it is a bus/taxi ride away to the “strip”
Stunning hotel with amazing staff!
Just returned from an amazing 10 day stay at Cavo Maris It was absolutely faultless All the staff, the rooms, facilities and food choices - top class I would recommend 100% without any hesitation Thank you to everyone at the hotel for making our amazing stay so memorable! We will be back!

Great clean hotel but requires improvement
Hotel was very modern and immaculately clean every day. There was a group of our family from young babies to older adults 65+ and suited us all. Bar staff (Irish man) in Medusa bar was a credit to the hotel & reception staff. Food was lovely(snack bar as all inclusive) however massive down fall is that a lot of things are extra charges despite being all inclusive, this dosent mean all inclusive like it does in most other hotels. Entertainment of a night was ok however no kids disco and just 1 singer for a few hours per evening meaning we went into main city most nights due to boredom. Would recommend for couples looking for a quiet holiday escape but not the best for families/groups

Just returned from our second visit to Cavo Maris.
The customer service was excellent, the young man on reception is a credit to the hotel.
Exceptionally clean, housekeeping everyday, they do an amazing job, and deserved to be recognised for this.
I had a car park view room this time which was excellent as this gets the sun in the afternoon/ evenings and you can see the sun going down. I had a sea view last time and the sun was gone by afternoon on the balcony but an absolutely stunning view. Im happy with either.
We went b and b, didnt eat everyday due to missing breakfast as we needed a rest. Lots of breakfast choice, gets very samey if you are a fussy eater like me .
Location is excellent, bus service is regular, taxis available too.
This is a family hotel so if you want a quiet holiday that isnt going to happen. Adults only Jacuzzi, which is a large size and the pool staff do brilliant at keeping kids out. Pool areas kept clean, outside showers available to rinse off, wash sandy feet etc. Sunbeds round the pool areas reserved early doors, i managed to get one after the England match as it was 6am and we were coming one so I bagged one which was nice. Some come available afternoon ish, and theres plenty further down the complex. We dont stay in the hotwl.all day we go out n. About but if by afternoon there were no beds I would just pop my bag by one of the planters where I could see it and it was fine.
Overall excellent and would recommend it to couples/ families as this really is beautiful.
We will visit again down the line.
