Very disappointed being called a beach resort but although there is the sea at the bottom of the hotel there is absolutely NO beach, plus it is completely open to anybody passing by on the walkway so gereneral lack of security. We would not recommend this as a family hotel but appeared to be more suited as a business hotel
Lovely weekend . Staff very friendly & helpful. Pool Bar F&B needs considerable improvement. The balcony furniture is uncomfortable & very old fashioned. Not the best location . Will come back. Much prefer the Radisson Blu
Average experience of the hotel, nothing to shout about for the cost. Staff were okay but the pool and amenities felt rushed
The waves Restaurant at the beach has a great location and great layout. Waiting staff are helpful and really polite. Food is not great. The ingredients are fantastic but the person doing the cooking needs better training. Had the calamari and prawns over 2 days. Both very overcooked and unpleasant. Presentation not great. My partner had the ham and cheese toastie which was undercooked inside, and and overcooked almost burnt chicken wrap the follow day. Please do better when preparing the food, train your staff up!
Unfortunately this has been one of the worst hotels I've stayed at. The area is fine and there are lovely restaurants nearby but the hotel has completely let us down. Ok the first day the staff neglected to follow protocol in a storm and an umbrella by the pool flew out of its concrete base, came apart mid air from the pool area and 'launched down into the seaview bar, flew straight through the air, missed the woman's face by an inch sat next to me, I turned and it hit me in the back straight on. The staff didn't come to check, there was no safety or first aid, no ice packs all they wanted us to do was pay for our meal minutes after the incident. It took 4 attempts to talk to the general manager and heated discussions about safety and proper protocol and we were offered nothing, not even access to the CCTV footage which under EU law, we were entitled to have access to under request. Then the next day there was a dead bird on our balcony, that hadn't been cleaned in what looked like weeks, we asked them to clean the balcony thoroughly, came back to the room an hour later and the bird body was gone but then there was a bird head. They also left our balcony door wide open and hadn't replaced our towels after cleaning. It's been hellish, and not relaxing at all. The staff have been unhelpful and rude, which is such a shame as we are here for a wedding and for a little get away. We will not be staying here again.
