The Lordos has very friendly staff which makes it a pleasure to stay there
As usual staff and hotel is on point However I don’t know who’s idea is was to make the beach towels seem like your getting gold bars it’s a beach towel not gold I found one particular lifeguard following me about because I took a beach asking me are you staying at hotel sort out that immediately it’s not on a hotel guest being hounded by lifeguard over a towel
Well….where do I start! Lordos beach hotel has it all! With scrumptious food to renovated rooms and a padel court! This hotel offers a luxury experience, one my family and I won’t forget. Location wise, Lordos is around 20 minutes give or take from the centre of Larnaca and a massive waterpark which we visited for a family members birthday. There is also a water sports facility for the youngsters directly on the private beach. The rooms are new and fresh, with an impressive view of the sea and landscape depending where you reside. I have to come clean and say that prices of food could be slightly more reasonable but I guess it is top notch dining. Cleanliness is something which I do tend to look at and I must say I’m blown away by the cleaners who strive on a daily basis of keeping our rooms spotless! Noise level is not a problem so I don’t know where previous reviews have gotten that idea??? A few shout outs: Maria and Nicoletta at Poseidon’s bar Dawa, Roman and the other lovely lady at Les sirens Galia at the restaurant Our cleaner at level four You were in particular polite and cheerful which made are stay extra pleasant!
Lordos Beach Hotel is a top-tier hotel offers the perfect blend of relaxation and exceptional service, immaculate rooms, and, crucially, high-quality, varied dining experiences that exceed expectations, special thanks to chef for the one in a lifetime culinary experience high quality taste and freshly prepared delicious dishes. The dining experience was simply phenomenal. Also, special thanks to manager Nicolas Kirkillali for the always warm welcoming and interest! The family suite was spacious, had a comfortable bed, and the housekeeping team kept everything spotless. We plan to book again for next year, as do my parents... Many thanks to the entire staff for making our stay even more pleasant, everyone was very polite and helpful.
We had a great stay at Lordos Beach Hotel. The staff were absolutely amazing—friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The food was also excellent and offered great value for money.
The hotel has a very lively and enjoyable atmosphere, which really added to the experience.
There are a few areas that could be improved. The Wi-Fi needs to be more stable, as we were regularly disconnected during our stay. The bedrooms could also benefit from a more premium feel, perhaps with a diffuser or a pleasant signature scent to make them feel more welcoming. It would also be great to have more plug sockets and USB charging points, especially near the beds.
The reception area could also benefit from a refurbishment. It currently feels quite small, especially with the kids’ club located in the same area. Moving the kids’ club to a separate room or dedicated space would make the reception feel much more spacious, comfortable and welcoming for guests.
The sunbeds around the pool were also an issue. There seemed to be a lot of confusion over reserving sunbeds, and on several occasions people would leave their belongings on a sunbed and then find that someone else had taken it. It would be helpful to have a clearer sunbed policy or a system in place to avoid disagreements between guests. The grass sunbeds could also be replaced with something more comfortable and modern.
At times, there were also arguments or disagreements between guests, which could affect the overall atmosphere. Although this may not always be within the hotel’s control, having staff step in promptly when situations arise could help keep the environment more relaxed and enjoyable for everyone.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The amazing staff, good food, great value for money and lively atmosphere were definite highlights. With some investment in the reception, rooms, Wi-Fi and pool area, the hotel could provide an even better experience for its guests.
