Tasia Maris Beach Hotel and Spa

We recently spent 7 nights at Tasia Maris on an all-inclusive holiday. Overall, the hotel itself is nice, the pool area is enjoyable and the staff are generally friendly, but unfortunately we left feeling that the experience didn’t represent good value for the price we paid.

⚠️ Be very careful about the difference between All Inclusive and All Inclusive Plus.

This was probably the biggest disappointment of the holiday. The difference between the two packages felt much bigger than we expected. If you don’t have All Inclusive Plus, you cannot access the Sol restaurant, you don’t get the premium drinks included (such as Hugo and Aperol Spritz), and your drinks service stops at 11pm, whereas All Inclusive Plus guests can continue to be served. You also aren’t able to get bottles of water unless you are on All Inclusive Plus, and there are differences in where you can eat.

We felt this created a very noticeable divide between guests and, at times, made us feel like we were being treated as though we didn’t have a proper all-inclusive package simply because we hadn’t paid for the Plus option. This was particularly frustrating considering the overall price of the holiday.

🍽️ Food

The buffet food was okay, but nothing particularly stood out. After around 6 nights, we were struggling to find things we actually wanted to eat. There seemed to be a lot of repetition, particularly with dishes such as Chinese food and noodles. Desserts were good, but having paid over £1250 each, would have expected more.

There was enough choice to get by, but for a 7-night holiday we expected a little more variety.

🛏️ Rooms

The rooms were clean, pleasant and perfectly adequate. The main downside is the bathrooms, which are very, very small. The actual bedroom itself was nice and comfortable, though, and we had no issues with cleanliness.

🏊 Pool & drinks

The pool area was one of the better parts of the hotel. The pool is nice and having a pool bar actually in the water is a great touch. Drinks were generally good and the service around the pool was also good.

The outside bar, where the evening entertainment takes place, was a different story. Drinks could be really, really slow, particularly when it was busy.

🎤 Entertainment

The evening entertainment was quite limited, with most shows lasting only around 45 minutes, although a couple did run for over an hour. It would have been nice to have more entertainment or for it to run for longer each evening.

🏨 Overall

The inside of the hotel is lovely and there are definitely positives to Tasia Maris. The pool is good, the rooms are clean and the staff are generally pleasant.

However, the overall consensus from our group was that we wouldn’t return, mainly because of the price we paid and the way the All Inclusive Plus system made us feel throughout the holiday.

Had we known beforehand just how much of a difference there was between the standard All Inclusive and All Inclusive Plus packages, we may have made a different choice. For us, the feeling of being restricted from things that seem like fairly basic all-inclusive offerings — particularly water, certain drinks, dining options and drinks after 11pm — took away from the overall experience.

Worth considering if you’re looking at booking, but make sure you fully understand exactly what is and isn’t included in your package before you pay.

I’ve stayed 5 star hotels before and this is nowhere near the same quality.

To much confusion with the options didn’t boards (half-board, all inclusive and all inclusive plus) All inclusive plus was an extra €26 pppd) it’s just really confusing as people don’t know if they’re being charged or not as the menus contain prices and some items are considered premium.

The food was good with an evening buffet which had pizza and pasta every night and a range of different courses. Food is available near the pool area but very confusing because the menu aren’t clear what’s for all inclusive or half board but all inclusive was available 1-3pm on A’carte menu or there was a snack menu other times.

The 5-One restaurant was bookable during the stay but some meals were an extra charge on top of the all inclusive. Remember to try and clear your plate because the waitress had a go at me for not eating it all.

On arrival we were given a message to say towels on sunbeds before 8am would be removed this didn’t happen whilst we were there. People were reserving them from 6am to be guaranteed the sun most of the day. Seemed to be too many fixed umbrellas.

Sunbeds are reserved for disabled which it a nice touch but some of them were reserved no where near the poolside so they were definitely abusing the policy.

The pool was nice and cleared each morning. The jacuzzi was pointed by the pool was hardly on.

The night entertainment is rubbish 45 mins and it’s all over. Drinks on all inclusive only available until 11pm otherwise chargeable. Rock of Ages was good. Pink didnt even sing Pink songs More curry used a lot of bad language and wasn’t that good. Michael Jackson didn’t even sing he just danced and talked crap. Comedy circus was good but the stage is far too small for their act.

BINGO who wants to pay for entertainment in an all inclusive

The beach is nice and only a 2 minute walk. €10 for two sun-beds and a parasol and the

Spa seemed expensive but they seem to have offers each month so ask we paid €54 deal for a massage and sauna/steam.

Each day animation team wander around the hotel 10-2 each day offering stretching, aerobics, beer pong in an all inclusive no thanks will just order a drink from the bar and volleyball more like catch in the pool.

There’s a reason we’ve just checked out of the Tasia Maris Hotel Beach and Spa for the tenth time—and why we’ve already booked for next year. This August, we spent 14 glorious nights here on our annual couples' relaxation escape, and once again, it delivered exactly what we needed: sunshine, genuine hospitality, and that rare feeling of being genuinely welcomed back.

From the moment we arrived, the staff recognised us from previous visits. Not in a forced, corporate "welcome back" way, but with real warmth—as if our return genuinely made them happy. That personal touch is what elevates this place beyond the typical resort experience. They remember your drink order, ask about family members they’ve met over the years, and make sure every stay feels seamless. Our sea-view room was spotless every single day (housekeeping is quietly efficient), and while the bathroom was a touch smaller than we'd ideally choose, it was perfectly usable and never a real issue—just a minor quibble in an otherwise flawless stay.

The real heart of the hotel, though, is the pool area. The swim-up bar became our social hub—a place to chat with other guests over generously poured drinks (never short measures here!) while soaking up the August sun. The food genuinely impressed us yet again. Breakfast alone offers five different types of eggs, and the variety across the buffet covered every taste. The à la carte lunchtime menu was a lovely touch for something a bit more refined, and the snack menu between meals meant we never went hungry—or thirsty, with two bars keeping everything flowing.

For the sheer volume and quality of food and drink included, this represents outstanding value for money. We've brought family and friends here over the years, and every single one has left a fan. If you're after a couples' getaway where the staff treat you like old friends, the cocktails are generous, and the only hard decision is pool or beach, book the Tasia Maris. We're already counting down to next August.

Rating: 10/10 – because after ten visits, they've never once disappointed us.
