Just back from a great week at this hotel .rooms are clean and everything you need in them for your stay and nice and fresh .food is amazing plenty variety with something for everyone was well presented.entertainment was low key but good also with different sports on each day and plenty people taking part .staff were so lovely and done anything to help you .hired the sunbeds that are 20 euro a day but well worth the money with a great service from Christina the lifeguard looking after you bringing drinks when you ask and also her trusted assistant was excellent with the service they provided.reception staff were lovely and helpful .spa was lovely aswell with a great range of treatments got a massage and was worth every penny .hotel is so clean and especially around the pool area at all times .hotel in a great location 5 mins to the harbour and about a 15 min walk to the strip .would definitely come back to this great hotel
Amazing staff. Very clean hotel. The highlight of our holiday every year (as we have been visiting the same hotel for the past 3 years) is the entertainment team, Billy, Ellie and Helen. Billy puts up an amazing Elvis night which we look forward to it every year.
Good hotel, but lacking atmosphere and poor value for money
Stayed for 4 nights in August. Overall, the hotel is good and the service was satisfactory, but unfortunately, we found it quite boring. There was simply no real atmosphere or “vibe” to the place.
The entertainment team is very small — just two people — which, in my opinion, isn’t enough to create much of an atmosphere, especially for a hotel of this size.
I was also disappointed with the pool supervision. The lifeguards seemed to do various jobs around the pool area, walk around, and sit quite far from the pool rather than constantly watching the swimmers. If you are travelling with young children, I would strongly recommend keeping a close eye on them yourself.
On a day when there were thunderstorms, the main pool was closed. Some guests, myself included, went to the indoor pool downstairs, but it was far too small to accommodate everyone. Unfortunately, rainwater was also leaking directly into the pool from above, after which hardly anyone wanted to use it.
On the positive side, breakfast had plenty of options and the quality was good. The staff were helpful and friendly, the location is convenient, and I appreciated that there were no additional charges for things such as the safe.
However, overall, I found the hotel to be poor value for money, particularly considering the room size and the limited entertainment offered for a hotel of this scale.
For my next stay, I would probably choose a different hotel.
Amazing hotel with great stuff. Very tasty food. Rooms are very clean. The location is great.
Had a fantastic 10 days in the Nestor hotel with my wife and 2 boys aged 14 and 10. The rooms were lovely and cleaned every day, the food was really good with a superb variety including english breakfast and fruit. The staff were really nice and helpful and the animation team around the pool were really good and friendly, One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. Would definitely recommend and we plan to go again next year for 2 weeks this time.
