Macronissos Village Club

We have just competed a 10 night stay here, We arrived very late and staff was very friendly, One of our daughters had a pop up bed you could Feels bars but the next morning they sorted it and even made sure she was comfy. We had one of the up stairs apartments and we had a massive balcony which really made it. All pool bar staff are really friendly and went above and beyond for my daughter they made her hash browns at 3:30pm Because she wanted them. Room was cleaned daily and beds changed every couple of days We asked for late check out and they said it was fine, Food at the hotel was great too and a great price over all a fantastic hotel we would love to come back here

We have just returned from a lovely two week holiday in the Makronisos Village. The staff were outstanding here, so friendly and welcoming. The bar staff especially work hard throughout the day, constantly providing service with a smile with good humour. Our room was quiet, comfortable, clean and well located near the reception/shop. We did wonder why the buffet restaurant did not open for dinner as advertised but this was not a huge issue as we mostly chose to eat out at local restaurants. The pool was excellent. Sun bed availability was better in our first week (last week of July) as people occupied them as and when needed. Into our second week people were reserving beds with towels, with one group consistently reserving beds late at night as we left the bar at midnight!! We did find weekends at the pool noisy and packed with large numbers of non-residents, so we just did other things on those days and swam there later. The hotel staff are very accommodating and helpful. They booked our excursion to Famagusta and Salamis, something I would highly recommend. They also allowed us to stay in our room until later in the day when we were picked up for the airport. However, we could have done without being hassled by a group of cleaners with their children into rushing out of the room when our taxi arrived (not our usual cleaner). We have had a great holiday and would highly recommend.

We stayed in room 309 (I believe), and Elena was absolutely amazing from the moment we arrived until the day we left. She made us feel so incredibly welcome every single day, always greeting us with a smile, kindness, and such a positive attitude. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble for her, and she genuinely made our holiday so much more special.

In all honesty, Elena is the main reason we will be returning. We absolutely adore her and will genuinely miss seeing her. She has such a warm personality that makes every guest feel valued, and it’s clear she truly cares about what she does.

She is an absolute credit to your team, and I hope she receives the recognition she deserves. Please don’t ever let her go because staff like Elena are incredibly rare. She is one of the best members of hotel staff we have ever had the pleasure of meeting.

Please pass on our love and thanks to her, and tell her, “Cheri Cheri Lady!” 😂 She’ll know exactly what we mean!

We can’t wait to come back and see her again soon and all the team at the village. Absolutely amazing place to stay, lovely food, lovely atmosphere, lovely people, great drinks and a lovely family orientated place with a bus route right outside the resort to take you right into the centre. With a few bars and shops around the resort also and a shop actually on the resort. We cannot wait to return.
