We would like to highlight that the hotel occupies an exceptional location, offering a beautiful sea view. First and foremost, the highlight of the establishment is the main restaurant, which delivers outstanding food quality and exemplary daily service. Special recognition goes to the dining hall manager, Mr. Andreas, who oversees the breakfast, lunch, and dinner services. He coordinates top-tier standards among the waitstaff and the kitchen team, ensuring a truly wonderful guest experience. The food is exceptional. However, the rest of the hotel staff should look up to the exceptional service provided in the main restaurant. Regarding the accommodations, the rooms are kept clean but are dated and require renovation. Furthermore, the gym facilities and the entertainment program would benefit from increased investment. The hotel possesses immense potential, and we would certainly return for another stay.
Enjoyed the buffet dinner at this hotel. Huge selection of both hot and cold dishes. Everything you could possibly ask for, fish, beef, salads, vegetables and more. The fish soup was the best I've ever tasted😋
We were very hesitant about going to Cyprus in late August / beginning of September due to the very very warm weather (+35), but we haven't regretted our choice for a single moment. Before booking via Swedish TUI I did google A LOT about were to stay in Cyprus. This was our fifth trip to Cyprus and we felt that Atlantica Sungarden Beach had all the ticked boxes for this fifth stay. We arrived Friday August 28th and our booking said a Family Room with seaview. We got a really nice room (Family room no 872) BUT I was so disappointed because we got a room with a view right to the snack bar in the area with the activity pool and very limited seaview and a lot of other activities going on just right outside our balcony. We really needed peace and quiet during this vacation so I went to the reception asking for another room. The reception staff was really great to find a solution for us but nothing was available at that moment but the next day we moved to another room in the "garden area" (Family room no 735) and it was super nice!! This Family Room was all that we needed for a nice calm quiet vacation. Great space, beds very comfortable and huge space in the shower. And lets talk about the view!!! :) This resort is situated at the end of Glyko Nero Beach and from the quiet part of the resort were the infinity pool was situated it took literally four minutes to walk the stairs down to reach the beach. We even took the time walking from Glyko Beach to the public shower at the Mermaid Statue in the harbor and it took exactly 15 minutes. The food at this all inclusive was absolutely exceptional!! We´ve been to a lot av AI-places but this was our top no one. And the staff is absolutly fantastic. Every afternoon we had a snack at the snack bar at the activity pool area and they did everything after you orded so you got super fresh fries, burgers, noodles. We´ll for sure come back! :)
Lovely hotel Good food very clean
This hotel is in the best location in Ayia Napa. Sits on top of the cliffs so has a spectacular view. You are far enough away from party central to not be involved in it, but a 10-15 minute walk if you want to go into town. A short walk to the sandy Glyki Nero beach, which is quite sheltered so the sea is calm and at this time of year is relatively warm. The Sculpture park, the Love Bridge and some sea caves are close by.
When you check in, the first people you meet are the reception staff and they are all friendly and informative.
Breakfast is a laid back affair where you just come in and help yourself.
Lunch time you have waiting staff, who are all really polite and friendly, to take your drinks orders and it is the same for evening meal.
The food itself is of excellent quality and there are always plenty of options for every meal.
We only visited one pool area so can only comment on that, but it was always clean and never an issue to get a sun lounger at any time of the day and the infinity pool is impressive overlooking the vast Mediterranean.
We had a main building family room with sea view and this room type is in good decorative order and was very comfortable. The walk in rain fall shower is always a pleasant experience.
The manager Mr Christos is a true gentleman. His staff are all really nice. Special mentions to assistant manager Antonis, Katia, Yiannoula, Margarita, Andreas, Lakis, Aman and Sabbir. We will see you again soon.
