This distinguished and refined hotel boasts a great position just a few steps from a spectacular white, sandy beach called Golden beach in Ayia Napa, Cyprus. Those staying at this magnificent property may wish to visit the nearby Ayia Napa town centre and harbour, as well as Protaras’ popular resort. Nature lovers might take a relaxing stroll around the Cape Greco national park or do some sport hiking or cycling in the surrounding area. This all-suites establishment offers original and luxurious accommodation units, which boast a relaxing and elegant atmosphere in which to enjoy a memorable experience. They are decorated in white tones, giving an air of sophistication and exclusiveness, and equipped with state-of-the-art amenities. The most discerning travellers will feel that their expectations are lived up at this establishment with a wide array of fantastic facilities such as a chill-out lounge.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
No value for the money.
A huge disappointment. A very unpleasant experience.
It was clear that something fundamental in the hotel’s management and maintenance was not functioning properly.
The staff members were genuinely kind, polite, and did their best to help, but the overall hospitality, facilities, and cleanliness were simply not worthy of the price we paid.
We were three adults staying in one room.
First of all, the room looked nothing like the photos on Booking.com. It did not match them in size, appearance, cleanliness, or overall quality.
There were also no blankets in the room.
The air conditioning barely worked. The room was extremely hot, and it took a long time before anyone came to fix it. This happened three separate times, until one afternoon the AC stopped working completely.
We reported the issue to the front desk at around 6:00 PM. When we returned to our room at 10:00 PM, it was unbearably hot. We were told there was no solution and that a maintenance technician would only be available the following morning.
We were shocked. In the middle of August, we were expected to spend the entire night without air conditioning.
There were no available fans, and no vacant rooms to move us to.
The receptionist even told us that the hotel managers were not answering her calls and that she had no one to turn to.
How is that even acceptable?
We actually started looking for flights back home that same evening.
After more than half an hour, she suddenly received approval to move us to another room for the night.
The breakfast was also extremely disappointing. There was very little variety, none of the serving dishes were labeled, so you had no idea what was inside them, and the food itself was not tasty.
My brother skipped breakfast altogether and ordered food from outside instead.
The dining room was also poorly air-conditioned, with the doors left open, making it uncomfortably hot.
The furniture in the room was falling apart, with exposed screws creating a potential safety hazard.
There were ants everywhere throughout the room.
The hotel is located far from the city center, so every trip for dinner or even a short walk around town cost us around €30 in taxi fares for a round trip.
The private beach area is extremely small.
The beach restaurant was missing many of the dishes listed on the menu. We sat down, tried to order, but eventually gave up and left.
The swimming pool constantly had leaves and insects floating in the water.
No one helped us with our luggage. We had to carry all of our suitcases up multiple flights of stairs to our room ourselves.
We won't come back... definitely :(
Nice hotel and staff. Clean rooms.
The main pool could have been cleaner.
Family owned & run resort, consistently excellent in every way. Unique atmosphere of authentic Cypriot hospitality with a modern chic vibe. We return year after year, the welcome, service & care is exceptional.
Unrivalled location on Landa beach, white sand & crystal clear water. This coastline offers beaches to discover a short walk in each direction. The resort has beautifully designed grounds, accommodation & 3 huge swimming pools, 1 being adults only. So many areas to enjoy, relax under the shade of a tree with a book or the gorgeous beach bar with a cocktail. Something for everyone.
The beach sunbeds are large & luxurious, probably comfier than your bed at home! A choice of loungers, chairs, beanbag loungers & suspended swing chairs, all well-spaced for your own comfort.
A choice of 7 places to eat & drink including BLU buffet restaurant, Naos Beach Club, 2 al a carte, traditional Cypriot Ouzeri Greek Taverna and Italian, Piazza Di Roma. Opening this month is The Roof Top Japanese Restaurant & Night Club – can’t wait to try this when we return in a few weeks! We choose all-inclusive basis which includes a visit to both al a carte if you stay 5 nights or more. Everything from traditional dishes to fish & seafood, fruit platters & desserts, guaranteed to tempt every taste. So lovely to be looked after by long serving staff who cannot do enough for you, Marianna, Dimitra, Yoda, Pavlos & Vera to name but a few.
If you haven’t yet experienced this gem, we cannot recommend it highly enough.
Let me start with the highlight: Steve, the hotel driver. A genuinely warm, attentive and professional gentleman who greeted us on arrival and dropped us back at the end of our stay. In a week of mixed experiences, he stood out as someone who truly cared about guests. So Hotels should consider themselves lucky to have him.
The beach is lovely, while the location in Ayia Napa is not the best. The adults-only pool is a genuine plus — well maintained and a peaceful space. That's where the straightforward positives end.
Location: the hotel is approximately 5km from Ayia Napa centre. This is the trade-off for a quieter, more relaxed setting which we appreciated. Getting into town is easy enough — taxi runs €15-20, or there's a bus stop right outside. Just go in with realistic expectations.
We booked the VIP Two Bedroom Suite Private Pool- directly with the hotel for €3,208 for 7 nights, paid in full upfront. In our booking form, submitted well ahead of the cancellation deadline, we explicitly requested three beds including twins, while it didn’t seem necessary as the suite photos show exactly that. The hotel confirmed the booking without any comment. On arrival we discovered twin beds do not exist anywhere in this type of room on the property — confirmed by reception staff member Oxana on 29 June. The hotel had every opportunity to flag this before the cancellation window closed. They chose not to.
Their proposed solution — adding an extra bed — was physically impossible given the room size. Despite raising the issue at 8am, no alternative room or financial remedy was offered by 1pm. On a €3,208 booking, that response is extraordinary.
The room itself does not match the website imagery, which uses architectural CGI renders rather than photographs of the actual space. The gap is significant — particularly the exterior, pool terrace and overall finish level.
The written room description advertises chromotherapy and jacuzzi jets — neither functional. "Branded toiletries" turned out to be generic shower gel and shampoo. "Private Bay, complete with luxurious sunbeds" — sunbeds cost €30 extra per double set, with no mention of this charge anywhere in the booking materials. The sole hot drinks provision was a basic Severin kettle (a €15 supermarket appliance) — no coffee machine, which is standard in any genuine VIP suite.
Housekeeping was consistently poor throughout all seven nights. Every single day we had to call reception to request coffee, towels and bed linen. The bathroom sink was not cleaned once during our stay. The shower cabin was visibly dirty throughout.
On the final day, we had booked and paid for a private transfer for three people. Reception asked if we could take another guest and her child with us. We declined — because we had paid for a private transfer.
We came for a special trip and paid accordingly. The honest advice: the property is pleasant enough at a standard rate in a peaceful location, but do not book based on the website imagery, do not assume your pre-arrival requests will be read or acted upon, and check every advertised feature against what actually exists before you commit. What you see is not what you get.
Good service, specialy Musti! He was checking in with us everyday!
