This stunning establishment boasts a breath-taking position in front of the sea. The property is connected through a walking trail with Nissi beach and the scenic Cape Greco. The town’s city centre is also within easy reach, where guests will find a great variety of souvenir shops, bars and restaurants. The stylish and bright accommodation units are completely equipped with all the necessary amenities for a relaxing stay. They are decorated in white colours and boast a private balcony or terrace for added comfort and convenience. They also have a fully equipped kitchenette for the more independent visitors who prefer to prepare their own food instead of trying the surrounding restaurants. At night, guests can savour local and international specialities at the on-site restaurant and afterwards enjoy a cocktail at the pool bar. Business travellers might also appreciate the meeting facilities available.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
I had a Really fun time. I went there with all inclusive so I could eat and Drink as much I could want for free and it tasted very good. It was Really hot so the water was just perfect to swim in. And when you were not in the water had they a lot of different activities. My favourite was Darts. And the staff was Really Kind to. Especially the ones doing the activities and the manager
We had a wonderful summer holiday here second time. The staff was very kind and helpful. We will choose this hotel again in the future
Last Sunday 19.7.2026 we went to Protaras beach front. Every sunbed was full up. Whether that was a sunbed at the beach or at the grounds of a Hotel.
We were very disappointed and left the area. I remembered that during a previous visit at Aktea Beach Village in Agia Napa the swimming pool area might have empty sunbeds.
We went there and explained to the reception our problem. Immediately they found and offered us sunbeds and umbrellas. Of course we stayed there to enjoy their delicious buffet and cocktail drinks.
The waiters were very polite and well trained. It's an added value.
I highly recommend it, especially if Agia Napa in Cyprus is your destination.
We had a dream vacation at Hotel Aktea! The hotel location is perfect - just 5 minutes walk from Nissi Beach and still peaceful. The rooms were clean every single day and modern.
But the absolute highlight is the staff: _Rojina, Rubisha, Nima, Suchana in service were simply world-class. Always friendly, attentive and with a smile. Kamal not only took amazing care of everything, but also made the best cocktails for us!
A huge shoutout to Head Chef JULIOS. He motivated his crew to deliver top performance. Breakfast and the food were fresh, varied and absolutely delicious every single day.
Clean pool, perfect location, amazing service. We can recommend Hotel Aktea 100% and will definitely be back. Thank you to the whole team!
On August 1, shortly after midnight, we arrived at the hotel with a valid reservation. The night receptionist, John, asked for our passports. We expected the usual procedure: scan them, make a copy, or enter the details into the system and return them immediately. Instead, he informed us that our passports would be kept at reception until the following morning because he didn’t have access to the hotel system overnight.
We politely explained that we were not comfortable leaving our passports overnight and suggested several reasonable alternatives, including making copies, writing down our details, or completing the registration in the morning. He refused every option and simply told us that if we didn’t leave our passports, we could find another hotel.
When I asked under what legal authority they could keep our passports overnight, he couldn’t provide any explanation, legal basis, or written hotel policy. He also refused to call the manager, saying he was asleep and that he didn’t want to wake him.
The situation quickly became hostile. He said he didn’t know how to “get rid of us,” and when I asked to read the documents we were being asked to sign, he literally pulled them away and asked, “You now want to start the same sh*t with this?” This is completely unacceptable language for anyone working in hospitality.
The final straw came when I suggested exchanging IDs instead—he could keep my passport only if I kept his ID overnight. He then threatened to tear up our passports if I didn’t return his ID exactly at 7:00 a.m. At that point, we no longer felt safe leaving our passports—or staying at the hotel.
We were left with no choice but to book another hotel.
In all my years of traveling, I have never experienced such unprofessional, aggressive, and intimidating behavior from hotel staff. Whether this reflects one employee or the hotel’s policy, I sincerely hope management investigates this incident, because no guest should ever be treated this way.
