Our first trip to Cyprus was a bit of a gamble, and I was a bit worried about the hotel. But after a week there, I’m definitely planning a return!
The hotel is about an hour from Paphos airport and near some local shops. Unfortunately, there isn’t a hotel beach, and the public one isn’t the best. However, there are some lovely options about a 5-10 minute drive away. Marina, Old Port and Old Town are also worth checking out, which is a 15-minute drive.
The airport was getting some renovations, so we had to wait a bit for our luggage, about an hour. We got to the hotel around 2am, and check-in was super quick, so we were in our room in no time. My daughters and I stayed in room 2405 with a pool view. It’s spacious, with a big bed and a sofa bed. The decor is lovely and the room is spotless. We especially loved the wardrobes. The bathroom is quite large with a big bathtub. On the bed, there were robes and slippers waiting for us, along with a bottle of red wine, water and fruit. The hotel follows all the Green rules, so there are water dispensers where we could refill our bottles.
The hotel is clean and well-kept. The lobby is really spacious. The pool area has lots of sunbeds, but if you want one right by the pool, you might need to get up around 6am. The main pool is nice, but it could be a bit bigger. There’s a splash area for younger kids with a pirate ship and other fun things. There’s also an indoor pool with saunas. On the other side of the hotel, there’s an Adults Only pool with comfy lounges and a pool bar. At 8:30pm in the same area, there’s evening entertainment, starting with the kids and then the adults. Pool towels are available if you ask.
The entertainment team is fantastic; they’re really dedicated to their job. They definitely don’t bother anyone (unlike what I read in one review above) and the entertainment is always thoughtful and not disruptive. The food here is absolutely delicious! We have meat, chicken, fish and vegetarian choices, plus plenty of salads. Pizzas are being made all the time during lunch and dinner. Wafers are served every other dinner. And don’t forget the ice creams, fruits and desserts! Chips, pasta and lovely bread are also available. I could happily eat just bread with butter for breakfast. The snack bar has a wide selection of food, including sandwiches, salads, yoghurts and some cakes. My kids especially loved the cheese toasties. The pool bar has ice creams and drinks. The hotel staff is truly wonderful—so helpful and friendly. If you’re a cat person, you’ll find plenty of furry friends in the hotel and around.
Arrive after a full day of travel and WOW WOW WOW, right from the start. Pulled into this hotel after disembarking our transfers and thought here we go "Faulty Towers". How wrong I was. From walking through the doors this place is amazing. Concierge took our cases straight away, even before we had checked in. Check-in was very efficient and straight forward. We were placed on the 6th floor with views over the main pool. Rooms and the hotel is spotless and staff can not do enough for you. We went all inclusive and the food and drinks were plentiful and quality. The staff do not stop buzzing about. Entertainment was better than what you expected for a family holiday resort. The only thing I can think that let this trip down was the heat, as it was too hot for me as an english man 🤣😂😂 and The off site amenities just a short walk away.
The hotel had several good aspects, but there are definitely some areas that could be improved. The rooms could have been much better soundproofed, as there was an incredible amount of noise from loud guests and children in the corridors, especially in the evenings and late nights.
The beds and mattresses also need to be refreshed, as there were visible stains on the mattress, which felt quite unhygienic.
The food was okay overall.
The biggest negative for us was the entertainment team. They were extremely intrusive and kept bothering us throughout the entire stay. We often felt uncomfortable and harassed by them, which unfortunately had a significant impact on our overall experience.
With better soundproofing, cleaner and more well-maintained beds and rooms, and a more respectful and less intrusive entertainment team, the stay could have been much more enjoyable.
Would recommend but would not revisit.
We have had an amazing holiday and would definitely return! The rooms were spotless, and the family suite was perfect for our family of four, with plenty of space and everything we needed.
The entertainment was fantastic, and Cristano really makes it special. He gets everyone involved, no matter their age, and is an incredible addition to the hotel.
The food was great with lots of choice, and the pool area was perfect for our 7-year-old twins, who had the best time. They absolutely loved all the games around the pool, especially the water polo, and the swimming lessons were fantastic too.
A special mention also goes to the bar staff, who work tirelessly all day and are always friendly and welcoming.
The little touches made our stay even more special. A birthday cake was left in our room for my husband on his birthday, which was such a thoughtful surprise. On our last day, the children were also given craft packs to keep them entertained on the journey home, and they absolutely loved them.
Although the hotel is in a quieter area, don’t let that put you off. The bus stop is easily accessible, making it easy to venture out and explore whenever you want.
Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better holiday. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so memorable—we will definitely be returning
We spent a two-week vacation here with the whole family and were very impressed. The hotel fully met our expectations, and in some aspects, it even exceeded them!
Our room was in perfect condition: it was recently renovated, and the air conditioner worked quietly and properly. Cleaning was done daily and thoroughly — the bed linen and towels were changed on time.
The pool area was also always well-maintained, the water was clean without a strong chlorine smell, and there were always enough sun loungers at any time of day.
There were no issues with the food: breakfast offered an excellent selection of dishes, plenty of fresh fruit, pastries.
But what we remember most is the bar and the atmosphere there. We would like to express our huge gratitude to the waiter – Maxim! He is the person who literally makes the service in this hotel. He has an amazing rapport with the guests: he’s genuinely happy to see everyone, instantly remembers preferences, and creates a great atmosphere. At the same time, he works very quickly and efficiently, even when the bar is crowded. It’s thanks to this kind of attitude that we want to come back again.
