Visitors may indulge in flavourful dishes served at the on-site restaurant and pamper themselves at the spa. Guests may also have a cooling dip in the infinity pool overlooking the sea or soak up the sun on the poolside terrace furnished with sun loungers and parasols.
A little bit of a last minute decision buy a very pleasant surprise. Superb hotel with excellent facilities and a great sunset location right beside the sea. The stand out for us though were the staff. We had a la carte breakfast each day in the Sunset restaurant and then had days up on the roof with the infinity pool. Darko and his colleagues did a super job looking after us during the day and the breakfast staff were superb. Also had a chat with Ciro the manager who was very welcoming and happy to get some feedback on what a super job his staff do for him and how happy we were with our stay. He seemed just as nice and friendly as the rest of the staff at the Royal Blue Hotel.
An excellent location , easy for the bus to Dubrovnik and a short walk to Lapad along side the sea. The facilities are really good with a choice of swimming pools and a health club complete with easy access to the sea . The staff are brilliant , friendly and helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Multiple restaurants to choose from within the hotels at the location , wide range of options at reasonable prices , good value all round. Music at night. Highly recommend this hotel.
Excellent and caring customer service from Hotel Royal Neptun. A big thankyou to Goran and the two lovely ladies on reception who helped us check in and out smoothly, book taxis (20 Euro into the old town and arrived within 5 mins of the hotel and well worth it on an extremely hot day!) and Goran for helping me contact a tour provider who I had booked a boat trip with. The huge foyer is impressive and has all glass windows overlooking the seafront. We had breakfast included in our package and the breakfast restaurant was situated just opposite our hotel on the sea front. Plenty of gorgeous food on offer. You can have an omelette cooked for you by the chefs in the outside seating area, overlooking the sea front. Plenty of fresh fruit, cakes, pastries, cereals, cheeses, hams, scrambled and boiled eggs and crispy bacon and sausages. Staff were friendly there. Looking down from the outside breakfast area towards the seafront there are umbrellas and seats (for free) ( get there very early by around 7-8 am if you want seats) and steps carved into the cliffs where there is a designated area to swim in. I am quite a confident swimmer but had to work at swimming back to the steps, some days the sea water was choppier than others. Was such an invigorating experience and glad I swim there. The Royal Neptun has 4 other neighbouring hotels whereby you can use their pools and bars/restaurants. The pools and seats around them get crowded from early on so if you want a dip go early and before breakfast. Bar staff were so friendly and helpful at the Royal Neptun. Rooms were cleaned daily and were spotless. Air con, heated towel rail, mini bar, iron and hairdryer provided and beds were so comfortable. Complimentary towels are provided near the pool side/s and bins next to them to return your used towels. There is a promenade with gorgeous sea views that runs along the front of these hotels and a cocktail bar. We were there for a short stay and rotated between Bono the Pizzeria and The Crown which served excellent steak. Both had gorgeous food and views of the sea and occasionally live singers and a guitarist play in the evenings. The pizzas were huge and we should have shared one between us the first time we went there. Such a relaxed calming atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle and with an outstanding view of the coast, boats going by and the sensational sunsets. We would definitely go back to this hotel.
What a stunning resort! First time visiting Dubrovnik with our two boys - we could not have chosen a better stay! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, room was spacious and the ocean view from the room was beautiful, kids particularly enjoyed breakfast by the ocean and the multiple pools/ocean. Overall, hotel is very clean and the service is exceptional! I strongly recommend!
The most beautiful hotel in Dubrovnik! Very clean and great service all around. Spectacular views and the restaurants are all great! A must when visiting Croatia.
