The location was perfect . A short walk to Gruz harbour and an easy bus ride to the gate of the old city. The hotel rooms are large and bright and insulated well from the outside street traffic. Staff were extremely helpful and kind.i would give it 5 stars but the outdoor patio always had smokers on it. We realize this is a custom but Canadian patios are smoke free.
Amazing hotel to stay at. Excellent accommodation, clean, modern and good facilities. Food is excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel is situated in a very good location with bus stop outside for transport into the city and airport. Beautiful marina is nearby along with many good shops and places to eat
We arrived at the hotel earlier than expected, and the receptionist, Hrvoje, checked us in without any issues. He was welcoming and helpful, and we immediately felt comfortable. All the staff, from reception to the housekeeping team, were polite, friendly, and accommodating. We requested daily cleaning of our room, and everything was taken care of well. There was also one day when we had to leave very early, around 6:00 AM. Since we booked bed and breakfast and breakfast normally starts at 7:00 AM, I asked if it would be possible to have a breakfast box prepared for us. The staff kindly arranged this for us to collect before we left. We really appreciated this thoughtful service! The hotel has a brilliant selection for breakfast, with plenty of options to choose from. Our room was also spacious enough for our family of four, which made our stay comfortable. The location is another great advantage. The hotel is surrounded by shops and restaurants, and the bus stop is nearby, making it very convenient to get around and explore Dubrovnik. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Porto. The friendly staff, good service, spacious room, and excellent breakfast made our experience even better. We would happily stay here again! ❤️
New luxury hotel, conveniently located within walking distance of the harbour and just a 10-minute taxi ride from the Old Town. The food was amazing, with a great variety of delicious options to choose from. The staff were professional, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. Highly recommended!
Our stay at Hotel Porto was very good. The rooms are incredibly spacious, spotlessly clean, and feature large comfortable beds alongside an excellent shower. The breakfast buffet was a daily highlight, offering a great variety of high-quality options and barista-made coffees. The location is a perfect, peaceful alternative to the crowded Old Town, with a local bus stop right outside the front door that takes you straight to the city walls in five minutes. The walk to old town from the hotel is about 30 minutes, which we did several times in the evenings on our way back. A nice boutique hotel to stay in Dubrovnik!
