Newly built and open in 2021 the hotel is close to shops, business center and restaurants as well as being less than 2km from the historic Old Town. Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We stayed at Hotel Porto for one night and overall had a comfortable stay.
The hotel is only about three minutes by taxi from Dubrovnik’s main bus station. The Old Town is not within easy walking distance but it is only around a 10-minute bus ride away. With a bus stop just about 50 metres from the hotel, getting into the centre is easy.
Check-in was efficient, although it felt rather businesslike than particularly welcoming.
Our room was large, modern and comfortable, with plenty of space. The design was quite plain and lacked a little atmosphere, but everything was clean and functional. Breakfast was decent, with a good enough selection and everything we needed to start the day.
Overall, Hotel Porto is a practical choice if you are looking for a modern and comfortable hotel with easy access to both the bus station and the Old Town. It is quite expensive for what you get, although that seems to be true of Dubrovnik hotels in general.

Super hotel. All clean modern throughout. Great shower pressure, excellent aircon, beds, pillows all good. Water cooler available on all floors for refilling water flasks. Decent breakfast. WiFi good also.Two minutes from bus stop . Less than 10 mins to Pile Gate on several bus numbers. Ubers quick also. Fabulous bakery just past bus stop.
The location was perfect . A short walk to Gruz harbour and an easy bus ride to the gate of the old city. The hotel rooms are large and bright and insulated well from the outside street traffic. Staff were extremely helpful and kind.i would give it 5 stars but the outdoor patio always had smokers on it. We realize this is a custom but Canadian patios are smoke free.
Amazing hotel to stay at. Excellent accommodation, clean, modern and good facilities. Food is excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel is situated in a very good location with bus stop outside for transport into the city and airport. Beautiful marina is nearby along with many good shops and places to eat
